Chapter 228: The Planet is about to Explode

With a loud bang, a turbulent wave of air exploded, sparks flew, the ground shook again, and lava erupted from the cracks, sealing off the area into an irregular polygon.

But that wasn’t important. In blocking Thor’s hammer, Thanos noticed Bella gently raising her exquisite spear from afar.

Behind Bella, a golden vortex rippling like a mirror suddenly appeared, and from it emerged an old-fashioned, multi-carriage train. Glowing green, the train shot past Bella, her hair fluttering as it sped by, heading straight for Thanos on an air track.

The distant sound of a train horn echoed.

This was a spell Bella had devised, modeled after a legendary treasury summoning magic, summoning a train constructed of magic to impact enemies with its immense magical power.

Its force was enough to destroy any enemy.

Thanos felt the pressure of the oncoming train. Even before it arrived, the immense wind pressure began to solidify the air around him.

But Thanos was still Thanos. He reactivated the energy embedded in the power stone on his double-edged blade, blasting Thor away.

Barely evading Pietro’s next attack, Thanos realized the train was upon him. He quickly rotated his double-edged blade in front of him, the surging purple energy turning it into a high-speed cutting machine.

Boom!

The magical train crashed into the spinning blade vortex. Even with the power stone’s support, the train was shredded, but the tremendous impact still forced Thanos to slide backward.

Gritting his teeth, purple blood trickled from the corners of his mouth.

Though the train’s magic was shredded, the impact penetrated through his hands into his body, damaging his internal organs.

Fortunately, his body was strong enough, and his regenerative abilities allowed him to continuously heal.

Otherwise, he wouldn’t have lasted long.

However, as Thanos held on, Thor and the others wouldn't just watch. Wanda quickly reacted, seeing Thanos struggling, she immediately gestured forward.

Instantly, Thanos felt his surroundings disturbed by an invisible force.

Caught in this chaotic space, he felt as if he were in a spatial storm. His barely supported body was completely out of control, his eyes flashed, and his hands involuntarily released the double-edged blade. Without its defense, the train hit Thanos directly.

Knocking him from the ground into the lava and down below.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

Massive explosions followed as Thanos, along with the train, was submerged in magma, the entire planet of Morag crumbling, with storms and disasters erupting, and the ground shaking more violently, with huge cracks spreading across the planet.

Everyone could see that the planet was on the verge of exploding.

Hovering in the sky, they looked down at the spot where Thanos was submerged. Their powerful senses felt him being driven into the planet’s core.

The temperature was incredibly high.

"The planet is going to explode." Bella said softly, gripping her spear.

"What about those two?"

Thor was referring to the two who were clinging to each other, barely climbing to high ground, with magma covering the area below them, jumping down would be certain death.

With a rumbling sound, Wanda’s eyes flashed, and she snapped her fingers.
