Chapter 192 – I’LL KILL HIM!

After much effort, Adley finally managed to persuade Lucas not to see Richard that very night. This morning they had agreed to go to Richard's corporate office secretly, without making any appointments.

Lucas and Adley didn't just go there alone, but with Alex and the other two bodyguards who had fierce looks with thin beards growing around their cheeks. Not to mention after the black which makes their appearance quite scary.

There was no other intention, much less to do evil to Richard. It's just that they are quite careful in taking action, just in case. At least when something bad happened they were ready to face it.

Lucas and Adley were seen getting into the car driven by Alex, while the two bodyguards seemed to be in another car that continued to monitor and follow him from behind.

"I hope you won't do anything rash to Richard when you get there," said Adley, who was sitting in the front seat next to the driver's seat. He seemed to twist his neck, focusing his eyes on Lucas who was sitting in the back seat.

"My only goal is Ellena. It doesn't matter how Richard will react to our arrival there. I'll just do what he did to me. If he had good intentions of handing over Ellena, I couldn't possibly do anything bad to him. But if otherwise, I'll kill him with my own hands!" Lucas said as stared blankly in any direction.

"But you could be in a dangerous position if you did. I don't want to see you end up in a legal case. How many times do I have to tell you!" replied Adley not wanting to lose.

"You don't believe in my abilities? Have you forgotten who I am too?" Lucas' question managed to silence Adley and only let out a short breath.

He didn't know how else to tell Lucas. He knew that Lucas was very influential in the city, but wouldn't it be better to prevent and avoid every problem than to create another one?

"You don't have to worry, Brother. I can definitely handle all my problems well. Don't I have a friend who is always ready to help me?" Lucas said that suddenly made Adley roll his eyes in embarrassment.

"Damn it! You guys doubted me, huh?" Adley cursed as he pursed his lips. His gaze widened at Alex and Lucas in turn. However, it was only met with disdainful laughter by the two men.

"Shit! Just watch, I'll prove to you guys that I can do that!" Adley said confidently.

Even though it was just an unimportant conversation, at least it was able to divert Lucas' thoughts and emotions that were mounting.

It was undeniable that Lucas was still thinking about and worried about Ellena, but now he was starting to look relaxed because his emotions had started to slowly subside.

This of course made Adley calmer to see him, hoping that Lucas would keep his cool when he faced Richard.

After she finished recapitulating the report according to her superior's orders, Ellena immediately got up from her work chair. Slowly her feet stepped on a special door that was connected to the boss's room directly.

After making sure that there was no one else in Richard's room, Ellena knocked on the door and immediately turned the doorknob after the owner said hello.

"Sir, I have finished the recap of the report you asked for," said Ellena very kindly, after she stood right in front of the boss's desk.

Richard who was busy with his laptop in front of him immediately looked up and looked at Ellena with a wide smile on his face.

"Sit down, please!" Richard pleaded.

Ellena just obeyed. He landed himself on the chair in front of Richard's desk. His gaze was flat on the boss who had refocused his gaze on the laptop screen.

"Here is the report file, Sir." Ellena handed Richard the report file in her hand. nothing. The man didn't immediately respond positively and just stared at the file for a while as if he was confused.

"You save it, I'll check it later. I still have to check some emails." Richard replied as he resumed his activities.

It seemed like she was checking some important emails, even Ellena was being ignored. It was unusual for him to ignore Ellena like that.

"Okay, then I'll excuse myself," said Ellena farewell.

"Wait!" Richard raised a hand without taking his eyes off the laptop screen. He was just trying to keep Ellena from leaving the room.

Ellena who was about to get up from the seat was forced to stop and decided to land her body which had just been slightly lifted.

"Is there anything else I can help you with, Sir?" asked Elena respectfully.

"Yes, of course. You have a lot to do, Patricia." Richard replied, nodding slowly as he looked at Ellena. Don't forget the crooked smile on his face. Ah, it really looks very sweet and full of charisma.

"All right. What should I do?" asked Ellena a little enthusiastically.

Ellena didn't mind at all when Richard gave her a pile of work. She thought that doing office work without a break would be much better than having to accompany her boss all day for useless things. At least she could use those jobs as an excuse to avoid her boss, who until now in fact still hasn't given up on approaching her.

She thought Richard would stop pursuing her, after learning about her status as Lucas' wife. However, it turns out that this fact has absolutely no effect on Richard, especially now that Ellena's marriage seems to be on the verge of collapse.

"Okay, please record my meeting schedule with Mr. Jonathan from J-king Corporation, next Monday!" Richard insisted as if not allowing Ellena to leave that place.

"Noted, sir!" replied Elena firmly.

"Wednesday I have to meet with the American ambassador. Please take notes and make a reservation for the most luxurious hotel one day before the meeting," said Richard again.

"The day after tomorrow, Sir?" asked Elena to confirm.

"No! Wednesday next week."

"Okay. Noted!" replied Elena nodding. "Is there anything else I should note?" he asked for sure.

"Nothing. Now you can go."

A happy grin appeared on Ellena's face. Finally finished with Richard too. Quickly She said goodbye and immediately left the room, back to her room.

After a few minutes, the sound of knocking on the door again echoed in Richard's room, just as the man had finished his work.
