Chapter 54: After Healing The Captain
Chapter 54: After Healing The Captain
"Hold on!" But instead of the knights' captain, the one who answered Sakim was Han who was nearby. His voice filled with frustrations was couldn't be held back anymore. "What the hell are you doing? Why are you healing him?"
Was this guy insane? Was he aware of what he's doing? How could he heal the ones they were trying to pick scraps from? Surely, new players really didn't know what was good for them.
But Sakim had simply ignored him. As if he didn't hear anything at all. He continued to look at the knights' captain as if waiting for the answer.
"You!" Han clenched his teeth. This guy was really pissing him off. They really should silence him before he did anything more funny.
So with the four of them having their thought in unison, killing intent was exuded out from them as they intended to silence Sakim before he could heal more knights in the area.
However, before they could do anything against Sakim, a much stronger killing intent engulfed the surroundings scaring the four of them out of their wits.
Slowly, the knights' captain got up from the ground. The moment he sat on the ground, his terrifying gaze landed on the four people who were trying to pick scraps from them. These ungrateful bastards were surely daring! Instead of helping the knights, they were actually planning to collect their equipment. This was really unforgivable!
"Eickk!" The four people shivered just from the other party's killing intent alone. This knight was already healed that fast? Just what kind of healing item did this guy give to this knight to recover swiftly?
Immediately, the four of them turned meek. Clearly, this knight's level was way beyond them. They could see that it would be troublesome if they fought him even with the four of them. Helpless, they could only force a smile as Ruby responded, "Captain, there must be some kind of misunderstanding here. We're not trying to pick scraps from the knights, but from the robbers."
The other three had immediately supported Ruby's claim to appease the anger of that knight. Seeing that he didn't wear any helmet, and with the strong killing intent he could unleash, it was safe to assume that he was the captain of the knights.
However, the gaze of that knight didn't lose its fierceness. And the four of them couldn't help but swallow a mouthful of saliva accompanied by cold sweats appearing on their forehead. They could see that the other party didn't believe them at all. What should they do now? They didn't want to be wanted criminals who tried to pick scraps from the knights. If this knight didn't let them go from their action, it would surely be a lot more troublesome in the future.
But before any of them could even speak, Sakim spoke again and asked impatiently, "Hey, old man, where's the beginner's village?" He had already waited long enough and this old man had still yet to reply to him? Should he still need to explain how much of in a hurry he was?
Hearing Sakim, the four were taken aback before they all smiled inwardly. This guy dared to call the captain of the knights (who was clearly a man in his late twenties) an old man? This guy must be tired of living. Surely, the anger of the knights' captain would be switched to this arrogant guy.
"That's what you deserve for healing someone you shouldn't have!" Han harrumphed inwardly as if Sakim had already suffered severe punishment. They should be rich by now. But this guy just had to mess everything up? It really was frustrating no matter how he thought about it.
So then, the knights' captain finally shifted his gaze at Sakim. It was obvious that he was frowning. And the four were delighted seeing this. This newbie was really done for!
So to add more fuel, Han furiously stepped forward and said angrily, "Presumptuous! Captain, this guy is really disrespectful. How dare he call you an OLD MAN?! This is clearly a blatant humiliation for a handsome youth like you!"
And to add more fuel, Han added "And what the hell is with that tone of voice? How could he speak in such a manner in front of you, captain? This guy is clearly crossing the line. He didn't even respect you as the captain of the knights! Unforgivable! He must be hanged to death!"
Meanwhile, Lyn, Ruby, and Ron, although they wanted to see Sakim to suffer, they didn't want to repeat what was already been said. The three of them then tried their best to sneakily distance themselves from Han as if saying, "I didn't know this fool."
How dare he act like those stupid and cliched side characters in many novels. Can't he just shut up and let the captain judge the situation himself? This guy must be courting death!
So unaware of the fact that his comrades were not with him anymore, Han had this confidence reaching the max level. He was more than sure that the anger of the captain from them would definitely be shifted to Sakim. His nose was even lengthening as he imagined how his comrades would praise him for how smart he was.
But Sakim only ignored him as he only treated him like a dog that kept barking. His gaze was fixed at the knights' captain waiting impatiently for the direction with a frown. In his mind, Sakim was saying, "What's the problem with this NPC? Why is he not replying? Did he not understand what I just said? Or did he not know as well where is the beginner's village?"
And this made Han's veins appeared uncontrollably on his head. How dare this guy ignore him like that? Fortunately, seeing that the captain had his frown becoming deeper, his frustrations turned into delight. Surely, he'd successfully fueled the flame and managed to shift the captain's anger to that arrogant guy.
"You're asking where's the Wolf Village?" The knights' captain asked doubtfully. Contrary to what Han had expected, it was the reason why he was frowning. He didn't even care whether his savior called him anything. But why was he looking for the Wolf Village?
"Yes," Sakim replied. Thankfully, the NPC isn't broken.
The knights' captain didn't know whether this young man was serious or not. Was he really asking where the Wolf Village was? How could he not know of it? Every player, or perhaps every people in Sinland should have knew where was every beginner's village in their respective land was located. After all, it was the place where every people in Sinland awakened their power and received the System to start their journey as a player.
And also, most normal people that still hadn't receive the System were most likely living in the beginner's village since they cannot live in the higher-level place where stronger Sin Energy was required.
But this young man didn't know where it was? Did he hit his head somewhere and now was lost and had forgotten where was the beginner's village?
Nevertheless, the knights' captain still replied, "If you don't mind, I can bring you there. But you must wait for us for a moment."
Sakim stared at him for a moment, before nodding, "Alright."
Sakim could still guess what would the other party going to do before they depart. He was probably going to clean up the mess here first.
Although Sakim could just ask for the direction, he felt that having a guide in his journey was much better and faster. Thus, Sakim waited patiently to the side trying to resist the temptation of greedily collecting all the items of the fallen bandits.
