Matthew suddenly opened his eyes abruptly and found himself on a long road half-lit in gray; everything around him was dark, and there was nothing else.

But Matthew had no time to think about it.

He immediately thought about what he had seen and was shocked.

"Did I just see a scene from the past? When my father and I were planning what we would do?" He suddenly connected several dots in his mind.

He remembered the chains that had sent Alessa back to her world, its color, and how enigmatic it looked. Even more, the fact that it seemed to be something Isla could recognize.

According to what he had seen, Immortality was taken from the Vampires to protect the World from the destruction of the Sun, to turn the World into an Immortal World and thus make it Independent.

But if that immortality was still there and belonged to vampires, it's only natural that this world would feel so kind and familiar to vampires. It's as if it favors them, and that makes sense. It became immortal because of them, after all. It's also normal to protect them if that's the case.

Also, this solved numerous problems regarding why this world can exist without a sun.

Now, the problems he mentioned in what he saw were some problems he had already realized. Naturally, he understood that something was missing, so vampires could not use mana. If it's immortality, then that explains a lot.

Now, his father was mentioning a mountain that divided the world, and at the same time, he was mentioning an ability.

Frozen Infinity.

When he was on Earth and reached the apex of his power in that world, he theorized that he could cast a similar ability. It was a theory and was never tested. The closest he was able to cast once was his Frozen World, where he managed to freeze the entire World in his final battle against the Ice Emperor.

Thanks to that Frozen World ability, the theory about the Frozen Infinity ability arose.

This arose because his ability was not normal. An ability capable of freezing reality is a fantastic thing. It can freeze everything, whether it's wind, fire, or water. Even more impressive, it can freeze time and much more.

That being the case, being such a powerful ability, could he freeze even more than that? What was its limit? Reality involves many things, after all.

It's not just about time; there's much more to it. The void is part of reality, even if nothing seems to be there. Could it freeze it?

Time, space, gravity, and many more things are part of that reality that his ability, technically, should be able to freeze.

Thanks to all this, the theory of the existence of Frozen Infinity was born.

An ability that, theoretically, could freeze a world and prevent it from rotating. Stop it completely.

Still, he could never launch it because not every theory is a reality. Although many things told him it was possible, it was not easy to carry it out or put it into practice.

But again, this time in a different world, Frozen Infinity was coming back into the picture. And it was from a conversation he may have had 10 million years ago.

Somehow, he felt a great weight lift off his back. He now seemed to understand many more things; although he was still doubtful as to why Isla had immortality or why he would be frozen in that Frozen Infinity, his mind seemed to be moving towards finding the answer.

All around him, there was only a huge darkness, which gave him a strange feeling. Ahead, there was only a huge gray Road, partially clouded by a strange mist that prevented him from seeing beyond.

'What is this place?' He started to walk down the path slowly, but his body froze as soon as he took four steps on it.

"The Path of Control." His lips parted to utter those words, and he looked ahead.

Every step he took messed up his power, so he had to hold it tightly to keep it in check.

It was like a test of the path of control.

'What place is this?' He immediately started walking once more, but after 10 steps, his body stopped, and he could not take another step. He felt his body extremely heavy inside, and a voice echoed throughout the place.

As soon as he heard these words, his mind went dark again, and when he opened his eyes, he was in a strange yet familiar room.

There were not too many things here, so he ignored them. He looked to the front, where there was an open door and a man.

It was that room he had seen a few years ago when he had just received his first skill, where a certain man had taught him the 3 Phases of Control.

When he looked up, he could see his face this time, which immediately connected with the man who must have been Great Dietrich, his father.

As soon as he saw him, Great Dietrich closed the door and approached Matthew.

"The worries of life usually lead us to make mistakes. When you lose sight of your path, your mentality falters, and your determination is destroyed. He said, uttering strange words that surprised Matthew as they came suddenly.

But Matthew couldn't speak. He couldn't open his mouth, as if he couldn't control his body.

"He will generally ignore some important paths which, possibly, if he were to travel them, would lead him to complete his revenge much sooner, but he lacks the determination and the right mentality."

"That is why you must not let the thirst for revenge cloud your mind, my son."

"Wanting revenge is okay; be patient and look ahead because you will be able to complete it. There is nothing in this world you can't accomplish, but you need the right mindset."

"The Path of Destruction is not bad. Embrace it as soon as possible and hold on to it. Destruction is what comes after creation, so destruction will give you the right path to understanding Control. But you must never let yourself be consumed by the complicated mindset that arises when destruction and vampire blood meet. For that is where the plight of blinding thirst of vengeance is born."
