Chapter 141: Chapter 141 - Zodiac Guardians of Nature

(Author's note: Sorry if this chapter has too much information. If you're not interested in their abilities, feel free to skip it.)

The first creature was a massive ox with thick, thorny bark and sharp spikes protruding from its body. Its eyes glowed with a green hue, an intimidating presence. Broken began to review their skills one by one, noting their unique specialties.n/ô/vel/b//jn dot c//om

[Thorn Ox]

[Thorny Defense: Increases defense and reflects a portion of damage back to attackers.]

The Ox moved its massive body, stamping its feet on the ground. This creature's specialty appeared to lie in the frontlines, with its damage-reflecting skill type. Its stats were heavily allocated towards Constitution and Strength, making it a formidable force to take down in the frontlines.

"It looks like their beast forms are based on the Chinese zodiac," Freya murmured quietly. Broken then studied each of the creatures more closely. Although he wasn't particularly familiar with the figures of the Chinese Zodiac animals, he could relate to them, especially when struck by the sight of a plant-based Chinese dragon floating in the air.

"They're really magnificent," he muttered. "Their skills may be simple, but each one has a specific role."

"Yes..." she agreed.

As he moved from one creature to another, he couldn't help but marvel at the variety and uniqueness of each summoned entity.

[Truffle Boar]

[Earth Shield: Creates a shield of earth for everyone on the same party that absorbs incoming damage for a short duration.]

Large boar with a tough, bark-like hide, its body covered in earthy tones with fungi and truffles.

[Tiger Lily]

[Tiger's Roar: Emits a roar that stuns nearby enemies for a short duration.]

[Claw Strike: A powerful claw attack that deals significant damage to a single target.]

The fierce tiger was adorned with vibrant, flower-like patterns in shades of orange, yellow, and red. Petals surrounded its face like a majestic mane.

"This tiger is cute," Freya giggled.

"And it's one of the few that has two skills," Broken noted.

"Most of them seem to be close-range fighters, while two of them could be formidable tankers," she observed.

[Moss Goat]

[Nature's Guard: Grants a temporary defense boost to all nearby allies.]

[Headbutt Charge: Charges at an enemy with its horns, dealing substantial damage and knocking them back.]

Nimble goat with a coat covered in soft, green moss and lichen. Horns covered in vines, eyes a calming blue.

[Bark Hound]

[Bark Bite: Bites the enemy with its powerful jaws, dealing heavy damage and applying a bleeding effect.]

Muscular canine covered in tree bark, with roots and vines wrapping around its body. Eyes a bright, piercing green.

[Chili Pepper Rooster]

[Fiery Blast: Shoots a burst of fire that damages and briefly blinds enemies.]

Vibrant rooster with feathers resembling chili peppers in red, orange, and yellow. Comb and wattle fiery red.

"Finally, we have a phoenix-like creature with a fire beam type of skill," Freya said, giggling as she admired the radiant bird.

[Creeper Monkey]

[Vine Trap: Lays down traps that entangle and slow enemies who step on them.]

[Exploding Banana: Throws a banana that explodes on impact, dealing area-of-effect damage.]

Agile monkey with limbs made of creeping vines, fur a mix of green and brown, and bright, mischievous eyes.

[Elder Dragon Tree]

[Pollen Storm: Releases a cloud of pollen that heals allies over time and damages enemies caught within.]

[Dragon's Wrath: Unleashes a massive burst of magical energy in a large area, dealing significant damage to all enemies within the radius.]

The Chinese dragon-like entity floated effortlessly in the air, exuding an air of majesty and unparalleled power.

"This dragon has the most impressive set of skills, I think," Broken commented.

Freya nodded in agreement. "Yes, it can both heal allies and deal massive area damage. I imagine it will become a primary target for enemies to take down first."

[Fern Rabbit]

[Healing Herbs: Heals a targeted ally over time and grants them temporary stealth. ]

[Verdant Blessing: Temporarily boosts the stats of all nearby allies.]

Small rabbit with fur resembling soft, green ferns. Eyes gentle green, ears covered in fern-

like patterns.

[Petal Charger]

[Wind Dash: Charges forward, trampling enemies in its path and creating wind gusts that knock back and disorient foes.]

Swift horse with petals for a mane, sleek dark green coat, and vine-covered hooves. Petals vibrant pink and purple.

[Poison Ivy Rat]

[Toxic Ambush: Becomes temporarily invisible, then strikes with a venomous attack that poisons enemies over time.]

Stealthy rat covered in poisonous ivy. Dark green fur with ivy patterns, glowing toxic green

eyes.

[Vine Serpent]

[Venomous Mist - Releases a massive cloud of poisonous mist that spreads over a large area, dealing poison damage over time to all enemies caught within.]

[Constricting Vines - Wraps its body around an enemy, crushing them with immense force and dealing continuous damage until the enemy breaks free or is defeated.]

A long, slithering serpent covered in lush, green vines and flowers. Its scales are a mix of green and brown, giving it excellent camouflage in natural settings. It has bright, yellow eyes that glow, and its body is strong and flexible, capable of constricting enemies with ease.

Broken carefully observed each of the plant creatures, noticing that each had its own specialty. There were tankers, close-range fighters, magic users, healers, support creatures, and even an assassin-like beast. He wondered if he could summon them individually depending on his needs. It was clear, though, that summoning them all at once would cause chaos and havoc on the battlefield.

"I think just with this skill alone, you could be considered another divine champion, Broken," Freya commented. "Look at all these beasts... 5 minutes of this is insane! You can't be compared to a single player anymore, even at your current level," she said with a sigh.

Broken nodded and grinned, then glanced at Freya. "Want to test their combat potential,

Freya?"

"What? Fight me? Are you crazy? My level is below theirs," she said, giggling.

Broken chuckled, "Fair point. But we can start with a controlled sparring session. I want to see how effectively we can coordinate their abilities in real-time combat scenarios."

Freya nodded, still smiling. "Alright, let's do it in a way that's not too hard on me. Maybe set some limitations or focus on specific beasts at a time?"

"Sounds good. We can isolate each of their abilities and see how they perform in different simulated combat situations," Broken agreed.

They prepared to strategize and test the individual and collective combat potential of the summoned plant beasts. It became clear that they would attack anyone deemed an enemy by the summoner. Despite their seemingly brutal and wild attacks, the beasts always try to support each other. For instance, a little rabbit hopped around the battlefield, providing heals

to its allies.

"Despite their wild frenzy, they have a sense of teamwork. Look at that rabbit. It keeps

everyone healed." Freya said.

Among them, the dragon had the most impressive skills, with wide-ranging effects and skill animations that were nothing short of spectacular. The dragon weaved gracefully through the air, effortlessly dodging long-range attacks directed at it.

Some of the beasts lacked precision in evasion, opting for sheer brutality in their assault. The Creeper Monkey, however, stood out for its strategic prowess, setting traps and hurling banana bombs at the enemy.

Broken found that he could even ride the horse-like beast, which would help him charge into the battlefield. Although he already had Polly, this provided him with more options for mobility and combat tactics.

The assassin rat, on the other hand, demonstrated the most individualistic fighting style. It darted in with speed, landing quick strikes before vanishing again using its invisibility skill.

Feeling both satisfied and overwhelmed by his observations, Broken noted that the summoning duration had reached its end. The majestic creatures began to fade away one by one. And he was ready to work on his next project.
