Chapter 133: Chapter 133 - Broken's New Ally

[Name: Queen Gaia]

[Level: 185]

[Race: Nature Goddess]

[Health: 2,980 | Mana: 8,160]

[Strength: 322 | Agility: 387 | Intelligence: 680 | Constitution: 298 | Stamina: 388]

Broken was brimming with satisfaction as he reviewed Gaia's overall status. Despite her significant drop in levels, she still maintained an impressively high level of 185. Just a bit more effort, and she would be approaching the ranks of the top players. Her potential, merely based on her current stats, was undeniably immense.

"Gaia, do you need to consume Monster Cores or Monster Soul Stones to boost your stats like Polly does?" he wondered aloud.

"Master..." Gaia responded. "My abilities have been limited due to your restraints. However, if you provide me with a suitable monster soul stone, I could develop unique skills that would be highly beneficial for you in the long run. Yet, I am willing to postpone that. What I desire most is your best effort in obtaining one for me. Despite this, the skills I presently possess will be more than sufficient to assist you significantly in the near future." Her voice grew softer and more deliberate as she spoke.

Broken nodded and offered a reassuring smile. "Don't worry. With your support, I will have greater potential in battle, which will enable me to gather more Monster Soul Stones for you, Polly, and eventually for my next contracted spirits as well," he whispered reassuringly.

Although, for the moment, Broken could only summon Gaia's power for five minutes at a time, this window would be enough if he used it wisely at the right moments. However, he hadn't yet taken the time to check the exact abilities possessed by the Nature Goddess.

"Alright, Gaia," he continued. "Let's review the skills you have available for me to use."

Broken carefully studied the list of skills Gaia had available.

"So, you're saying I can directly utilize all your abilities when I summon you in battle?" he asked, seeking confirmation.

"That is correct, Master. Your command grants me a temporary set of skills that you can wield as you see fit," Gaia affirmed.

He gave a thoughtful nod. "That's good," he murmured to himself.

"Although these abilities only last for a short period of time, they can have a significant impact if used strategically at crucial moments. Take Nature Healing, for instance. It offers me full recovery and a debuff-free state for five minutes! That's impressive!"

Indeed, the first skill seemed to guarantee that Broken would continuously regenerate his health and remain free of negative effects for the duration he summoned Gaia. This could be an incredibly powerful force if utilized at the right moment in battle. With the assurance of this sustained regeneration, he could focus more on dealing as much damage as possible during that period. Five minutes is no small amount of time-it could have an extraordinary impact if used in a critical moment or a major battle.

"Indeed it is, Master," Gaia responded in her gentle yet authoritative tone. "You have the potential to become an extraordinary combatant if you make full use of my powers." Broken turned his attention to the second skill, known as Nature's Wrath. The idea that he could summon ten vines and control them like additional arms piqued his curiosity. Were these the same massive vines they had encountered while battling the Raid Boss? The thought intrigued him, as he hadn't yet conceived how to control ten extra vines as if they were new limbs. It was certainly going to be a unique challenge for him.

However, considering he could summon Gaia for five minutes every hour, he realized he had plenty of opportunities to practice this ability and train with it before facing a real battle. "Nature's Wrath," he said thoughtfully. "This one seems a bit odd. I'm not sure what to expect or how to control those vines, but it's worth a try for the potential impact it might have in battle."

Gaia's voice, soft and reassuring, gently interrupted his thoughts. "Master, I regret that I cannot assist in controlling those vines during battle."

"There's no need to apologize," Broken replied graciously. "This power is enough for me, and I'm confident that you have the potential to grow even stronger in the future."

The first skill, Nature Healing, would allow Broken to fight more freely without constantly worrying about his health. Although a fatal attack could still be dangerous, the healing and debuff relief meant he could last longer in battle and fight with fewer restraints. This ability would certainly enhance his combat endurance.

Meanwhile, the second skill, Nature's Wrath, added offensive capabilities to his arsenal. With ten massive vines under his control, he could deal significant area damage and cover a broader range, making it an excellent combination for both defense and offense.

As he pondered the first two skills, his interest was piqued by the third.

"And the final skill," he said with eager anticipation, "which I believe will be a great addition to our strategy, is the ability to summon creatures that can enhance my battle prowess."

What kind of creatures? he wondered.

"Master, these creatures will have stats similar to mine," Gaia explained. "This means you can expect their total stats to exceed your expectations in battles. Plus, there will be twelve of them to assist you in combat."

"Oh wow! That's incredible!" Broken exclaimed. "I'm very excited to try out this new skill in our future battles!"

Gaining the assistance of twelve creatures with stats resembling Gaia's-who was at level 185

-was like bringing an entire guild to the fight. Sure, it only lasted for five minutes, but it could provide a huge advantage when used at the right moment. The element of surprise these creatures could bring would be monumental.

Curiosity stirred within him about the nature of these twelve creatures, but he knew he couldn't experiment with them now-especially since he wasn't alone. However, the prospect of testing this skill in battle filled him with excitement and anticipation. Broken scanned his surroundings, taking in the destruction left in the wake of Queen Gaia, the Mythic-grade spirit. A wave of sorrow hit him as he thought about the members of the Ass Guild who had perished amid the chaos. However, his attention was soon drawn to a lone figure standing in the midst of the disaster.

One person remained unscathed-Charmelyn. Dressed in a ninja-like outfit with a mask covering the lower part of her face, she appeared untouched by the chaos around her.

"Charmelyn?" he muttered.
