Chapter 127: Chapter 127 - Gathering of The Immortals

The piercing wail of an alarm bell echoed throughout the bustling workspace, halting every worker in their tracks as their attention snapped toward the large monitor dominating the corner of the room. The room, once filled with the hum of activity, fell into an uneasy silence, each individual frozen in surprise and anxiety.

"Emergency?" one of them said.

Faces drained of color, reflecting the growing panic as Marco, the CEO of Golden Age Company, burst into the room. His usually composed demeanor was shattered, replaced by a mask of tension and urgency.

"What's the situation?" he demanded, his eyes locking onto the monitor, where something monumental was unfolding within their game.Nôv(el)B\\jnn

An employee stepped forward, their voice unsteady and quivering, "It's the birth of the Nature Goddess, Mr. Marco."

Marco inhaled deeply, a mix of frustration and disbelief etched across his features. "Is it Broken causing this again?"

His gaze remained fixed on the screen, brows knitted together in deep concern. The room was thick with tension, every employee's eyes fixed on their leader, waiting anxiously for his directive.

"What should we do, Mr. Marco?" His assistant's voice broke the silence, tinged with fear. "A Mythic-grade creature shouldn't be appearing now, right? Especially Queen Gaia."

Marco steadied himself, taking a deep breath to calm his nerves. "We need to act immediately," he said, his voice firm despite the worry in his eyes. "Get ready for a press conference. The community will be in an uproar when they hear about this."

Marco paused before he continued, "I need someone to keep a close eye on this situation and see how the deities react."

"Yes, Mr. Marco, we'll do it right away," an employee replied.

The room remained tense, a palpable sense of dread hanging in the air as everyone looked to Marco for further instructions.

"Mythic creatures," he began, "are beings that have ascended to the pinnacle of power within the mortal realm. They are one grade above Legendary and just below Arcane. What exactly are we dealing with here? It is an extraordinary spirit of immense power."

"This happened because the player obtained two soul stones simultaneously after defeating a raid boss," another employee explained, their voice shaking. "This is an event with nearly impossible odds."

The hierarchy of grades assigned to items and creatures is as follows: Common, Rare, Elite, Epic, Unique, Legendary, Mythic, Arcane, and finally, Divine.

"If a Mythic-grade being were to be born from the actions or mistakes of a single player, it would be like unleashing a force of nature that no one could contain or hope to survive against." His words hung in the air, heavy with the weight of their implications, as he considered the potential devastation such a creature could wreak.

Marco's mind raced through the possible scenarios and outcomes of their current predicament. "Let's observe what unfolds," he said, "while preparing for any emergencies. This situation is both a catastrophe and an opportunity; if managed well, our stock will soar to new heights. Conversely, if it goes badly, we will face a significant downfall. This game could be destroyed by a mistake like this."

In a majestic chamber perched high above the clouds, the ethereal Goddess of Sloth, Akidia, lay in serene repose. Sunlight poured through the expansive windows, casting the room in a dazzling golden light. A richly detailed rug covered the floor, adding to the chamber's opulence.

Akidia's long, white hair flowed around her like a silken shroud, highlighting her delicate features. She wore a flowing white dress that draped her body gracefully, shimmering with an ethereal glow as if lit from within by a divine source. The sight of her was both awe-inspiring and breathtakingly beautiful.

"Akidia! Akidia!" a voice called out from a corner of the room.

The Goddess Akidia slowly opened her eyes. She turned her gaze towards a small table beside her bed, noticing a black, square-shaped instrument vibrating with urgency. With a lazy snap of her fingers, she summoned a spark of magic, causing the object to levitate gently into the air.

"What is it?" she murmured, her voice tinged with irritation. "Don't they know I've been overworked lately?"

The device suddenly came to life, its voice louder and more insistent than before.

"Akidia!" it repeated.

"Yes, what?" she replied, stifling a yawn.

"Emergency Summon request!" a male voice blared from the device. "There's a major

incident in Yunatea, and you're responsible for addressing it! All the gods are gathering and waiting for your presence!"

"Emergency? Can this wait for a few more years?" she asked, her eyes half-closed in reluctance.

"No! Do you not understand the gravity of an Emergency Summon?" the voice on the other end snapped.

Suddenly, a brilliant beam of light erupted from her bed, enveloping Akidia in its radiant embrace. In an instant, she was gone, leaving behind a shimmering trail of luminescent energy that hung in the air.

In another realm, the sky suddenly split open, revealing a vast expanse of billowing clouds that stretched out before the eyes of those assembled below. From the celestial mist, a graceful figure emerged, her long white hair flowing like a waterfall down to her calves. Akidia had arrived. She touched down gently onto the luxuriously soft, white seats adorned with golden embellishments, leaning back to rest her head in a position of serene comfort. From all sides, majestic figures of divine origin began to materialize, their golden halos glowing ever brighter as they took their places around her. Each presence added to the divine energy of the gathering.

Finally, one figure stepped forward. His voice, deep and resonant, echoed across the expanse like a roll of thunder.

"A grave issue has arisen in Yunatea," he proclaimed. "If we do not act swiftly, the repercussions will be felt in every corner of the world."

One of the deities spoke up hesitantly, "But why do all of us need to be here for such a minor

incident?"

"It's been a long time since we had an event this significant in Yunatea," another remarked. It may bring some entertainment for us all.

"Yes, I agree. I'm curious to see how they will handle such a disaster."

"We do need more entertainment, but uncontrolled events like this could ruin our fun."

"But we can easily destroy something like this. Just hold the responsible party accountable."

"It was Akidia," someone chuckled.

"I guess we'll need a new candidate for Sloth after this."

"But many creatures will suffer," one of them said, horrified by the thought.

"Let's let nature take its course and watch as new generations of Yunatea's inhabitants emerge," another continued with a mischievous glint in their eye. "Wouldn't that be

amusing?"

"I agree! We need something new and exciting. Ever since those pesky players showed up, we've been missing some entertainment. This will provide a nice change of pace for all of us." "Those players will survive anyway, and I'm sure they will suffer greatly if this happens." "Another great war... just hearing about it interests me, hahaha."

"We should bestow them with additional blessings and instigate them to battle each other, haha," one of the powerful beings chuckled.

"Silence!" one of the dominant beings declared, silencing everyone in the room.

"We must make a decision and act swiftly before it's too late," the same being continued,

their tone serious. "The creature's level is 400. Even the Original Pride Champion will

struggle to defeat her."

Goddess Akidia watched as the council debated, her calm expression slowly shifting as she

began to understand the implications of their discussion. Her face broke into a proud smile as realization dawned on her.

"So, is this because of my dearest champion? Oh, how proud I am of him," she whispered

softly.
