Chapter 273: Not so quiet Halloween(2)

The disillusionment spell on them was dispelled slowly and they seemed to manifest in the great halls "sky" out of nowhere eliciting screams from several students as they slowly flew down and over the heads of the fours houses students while making haunting raspy breathing sounds that the real dementors were known to have. Dumbledore stood up at this time and spoke "Be not alarmed as I shall deal with these creatures!" he said dramatically which caused Nick to roll his eyes as the old man pulls out his wand. "EXPECTO PATRONUM!" The old mans voice boomed and from the tip of his wand a bright white light shot out towards the twins solidifying into a phoenix along the way.-

"HIIISSSSS!" The twins hissed as if in pain as the Patronus approached them and began to try and fly away from the corporeal spell chaotically. This resulted in a chase of light and dark in the air overhead much to the students awe. Eventually though the twins saw the signal from Flitwick and flew towards the headmaster as if they were going to fight to the death with him. Flitwick then stood up and pointed at where Nick was flying over head with his wand "LUPUS DEA" he spoke loudly while a bright flash of light appeared which Nick used to appear in his wolfen illusion form.-

He then stored away his broom and started to fall towards the two twins under the stunned gazes of the entire student body. Nick's illusion self wrapped it's claws around the two twins throats making it look as though he had captured the two of them and roared loudly thanks to a voice changing potion like a savage beast. "RAAAAAAAWWW!" his voice filled the whole room raising plenty of goosebumps in the process.-

Dumbledore then waves his wand and the Patronus crashed into the twins exploding in a burst of light while they hissed in pain. Nick opened his mouth wide and under the horrified gazes of the students had his illusion self bite down on the heads of both of the twins who went limp before vanishing in a whirlpool like manner when they were in fact simply just disillusioned again. Nick raised his head towards the "sky" and howled in triumph "AWWWOOOOOOO!" and while that was happening Mcgonagall secretly cast a transfiguration on the ground that made it seem as though Nicks wolf illusion self was turning to stone as he howled.-

Nick then canceled his illusion that exact same moment Flitwick disillusioned him allowing him to go unnoticed as he slipped away. The entire student body stood up and clapped in amazement and joy as Dumbledore wished everyone a happy Halloween. Nick and the twins had sneaked into the Gryffindor table during this standing ovation with wide smiles. Surprisingly Dumbledore had went off script and decided to oust the actors of this little show as well as it's mastermind to everyone here. -

"As much as I would like to take credit for this wonderful entertainment I am not the mind behind it. I would ask you all to applaud the true stars in this matter our own Filius Flitwick , Severus Snape , Minerva Mcgonagall and of course myself. In the roles of dementor Fred and George Weasley." Everyone in the room zeroed in the twins who bowed with wide smiles as everyone clapped loudly. "Finally in the role of guardian wolf and the mind behind this entire event , Nicholas Ravenclaw!" Dumbledore said loudly and it was Nicks turn to bow and receive a standing ovation.-

After that it was finally time for the feast that was just as grand as last years Halloween dinner with various pumpkin dishes. "Why didn't you mention that you guys were doing this!?" Ron asked Nick slightly upset at not being included. "And ruin the surprise for everyone , never." Nick said and the twins at either side of him nodded in agreement. "Besides these two are natural actors and you have to admit played the role of dementor perfectly." He added while patting the twins on the shoulder. "It was brilliant mate!" Harry said with a smile. "I still can't believe you managed to get Snape involved in this whole thing though!" Seamus said from nearby in amazement.-

Nick shrugged "It actually wasn't that hard really , I gave him a bit of a challenge while also properly paying for his time and effort. That voice changing potion was something he had to come up with on the spot and only just finished before it was time to perform." He said honestly. "Bloody hell , I can't even seem to brew a potion from the book and he made one out of nowhere?" Ron asked incredulous.
