Chapter 172: Chapter 172 – New Release Announcement

After many questions and jokes, an hour and a half passed.

The viewers were entertained, and no secrets were spilled over the podcast as Evelyn didn't ask any sensitive questions in caution that Breeze and Flexy would just throw the question back with the joke. They were skilled at shifting the flow of conversation.

The production crew signed that they should finish the podcast soon, so the host shifted the conversation to the next topic.

"Talking about games reminds me of something. Actually, Biozone Entertainment has planned to release 3 games in Q3, and we already have the list and the teaser! Let's watch it together!" Evelyn said excitedly as she put her finger in front of her lips.

"New game?!" Flexy exclaimed with the same excitement."What are they, I wonder. I hope they are an FPS game."

"Hehehe, will it be an FPS game, though?" Evelyn asked mysteriously, shifting her gaze to Max. "Any guess from you, Breeze? Or rather, what kind of game you hoped would be released next?"

"Me?" Max stroked his chin and grinned, "I guess I want to go crazy and get some sacrifice from the Blood God. Right, guys? It's been a long time since we've been on a killing spree!" He said to the viewers.

His fans who were in the stadium shouted loudly. They knew the reference of what he talked about.

"Blood God!"

"Where is that Blood God follower?!"

"He needs to make a tribute! Call the Archbishop!"

No matter how much they called, no one in the stadium answered. That was until a certain chat appeared.

— My right hand tingles… I heard the call from my kin!

"Oh, the blood god is here," Max exclaimed casually, but it invited many reactions from the viewers and Evelyn.

"O-Oh, so fighting game?" The host asked with uncertainty, her lips twitched.

Nodding, he confirmed it, "Indeed. A game where we are stronger than most common enemies and can capture their castle and territory!"

What he described was a game often called Musou game back in his past life.

It might have existed here, but he hadn't researched it too deeply yet, so he didn't know. He only gave Evelyn an amusing answer and invited the viewers' reaction by using one of his unique fans.

However, Evelyn's reaction betrayed his expectations. Her eyes widened as if she couldn't believe his answer.

"Woah? How can you guess that so accurately?" She said, a clear surprise written on her expression.

She heard that the streamer wasn't told about the new game, but how could he answer it correctly?

"Huh?" Max was also confused. His random answer was correct? He never expected that. "One of the games released is a fighting game like that?" He asked.

"Indeed! I guess you have researched it beforehand," She answered positively, giggling cutely. "Well, because you already guessed it correctly, let's show the game trailer without further ado. Production team, please!"

As soon as she said that, every light in the stadium was turned off with a click. Darkness engulfed the VR world, but that didn't last long as a screen appeared with a flash, circling up in the air. Everyone in the stadium could see, and the stream screen had changed into a game trailer overlay.

"Presenting!" A booming voice with high bass started the game trailer. "Biozone Entertainment's newly released game!"

Words that matched the voice appeared in a fiery manner. The fire burned with an intensity that matched the voice and the background.

Battlefield of the old, filled with armies rushing against each other, appeared. The barren land was filled with blood, corpses, and rusted weapons. Many normal people on horses tried to push each other back.

However, there were a few individuals that stood out from the others. One swept from their weapon created a large gust of wind. Earth was gouged, and men were felled.

A grin appeared on that man's face as he dashed forward toward the center of the army, where someone who looked like a king sat on top of a platform carried by humans. Raising his golden sword, the said King summoned a rain of swords toward his enemy.

"Battle of power!" The voice from earlier rang once again, and the scene changed.

Many soldiers had fallen. Only a few still stood with their King and Hero. Three people, standing out more than the others due to the flaming aura surrounding their bodies, looked at each other. They were from different sides, and no one was an ally.

"Battle of strategy!"

Those three people moved. They met at the center. One swung his halberd. The other thrust his lance. And the last one swung his sword.

Fire, ice, and metal formed around their weapon. When they clashed, a strong shockwave sent everything flying without exception.

Dust, corpses, weapons. A tornado was formed with them as the center, raging on the battlefield like tyrants.

Then, the screen became white, and the game's title appeared in the middle of the screen with a boom.

"CONQUEROR: TYRANT'S RULE!"

Following that, the stream changed to show the host and the streamers and the light was turned on again. Max blinked his eyes in interest. The game looked interesting, mainly because of the strange ability and the large-scale battle.

Flexy's reaction was milder. The orange-haired streamer wasn't that impressive with the earlier preview.

'A B-class game.' He thought.

No details about the gameplay were given yet—the system, the matchmaking, whether it was offline or online. Information was still left in the dark as if the game's creators didn't know what to do or plan to release it yet.

However, no matter how the game looked, the host's job was to praise and talk about it excitedly.

"Whoa! That's an amazing trailer! The battle, the effect! It looks exciting! There is also a female character with a lance. I totally want to try this game!" She claimed.

"What are your opinions, gamers? Are you interested in playing this game? Do leave your comment on the Biozone Strike account!"

With a sweep of her hand, she opened a screen that showed Biozone Entertainment's post in Strike. It was just posted a few seconds ago, just after the game's trailer finished, together with the full video.

"We are waiting for your comment." She finished.

Then, she turned to both Max and Flexy and asked their opinions. There was no special commentary because Flexy thought the game was nothing special except the large-scale battle, and Max had seen a Musou-type game before in his past life.

The reaction was rather weak, but many gamers who loved fighting games and large-scale battles were excited. They wanted to try the game. It would be better if it could be played online and over a few days long for each game. It was designed for hardcore strategic and battle gamers.

Continuing that was the introduction of the movement game.

"Fufufu, let's get to the next one. This time, there is a special show." Evelyn grinned and stood up. "The base game for the second one is ready! So we can show the gameplay directly by playing it directly! Our guests have agreed to test it. And, of course, I will join too!"

At that announcement, the crowd got excited. Evelyn's fans made the loudest noise. They were glad they could get a spot to watch her play a game directly!

What kind of game would they show? Many wondered.
