Chapter 174 Ignorance is a bliss.
Elena and Amaryllis went back to Mykel's office to ask for his opinion about the speech Elena gave. When they came into his office, they saw Lyneth sitting on Mykel's lap as she wrapped her arms around his neck and watched the TV.
"That was the best speech I have ever heard. It was excellent! Even Mykel is still shocked about it," Lyneth said as she looked at Elena standing in front of the door. "I'm so proud of you, Elena," Lyneth stood up and approached her for a hug.
"It wasn't just me, Amy helped me on a few parts," Elena answered as Lyneth hugged her. "Did that really surprise you?" Elena looked at Mykel.
"Yes, that was really good and I think that's better than what I have prepared," Mykel answered as he nodded his head and looked at Elena. "I'm proud of you," Mykel smiled.
They all sat down and watched the news about the press conference and it became viral immediately. The world responded to the statement that Elena gave to the press and they were all over the place.
The first one to give a response was Magnus, and he didn't want any more bloodbaths. But, he confirmed that if the Rebirth Guild had decided to attack Europe, he wouldn't stay quiet and protect it.
The second one was Dimitri and he stated that he wasn't afraid of the threat. He believed that the Rebirth Guild didn't have the power to attack every part of the world at the same time. He also stated if the Rebirth Guild did attack one of the countries, he wouldn't hesitate to attack the Rebirth Guild back.
The Virtue Guild and the Redshield Guild gave their opinions about the conference. They planned to meet with the Rebirth Guild to prevent the unwanted things that would bring in more chaos than what they already had.
The Sun Guild and the Zoroaster Guild didn't give a response because they knew it would only pour gasoline into the fire. They would rather stay quiet for their people's safety.
The last one was the Eurasia Guild, and they were the only ones who threatened the Rebirth Guild back. They stated that they had prepared for the worst and they wouldn't hesitate to attack back just like the Pantheon Guild.
"Right, they came here before unofficially. Now that you're here, I think he wants to share a piece of his mind with you, Mykel," Lyneth said after she heard all the responses. "What are you going to do if he came here again?" Lyneth asked.
"We'll see. I really want to keep him in the dark about us and what he has become. It would be fun to see them overwhelmed," Mykel answered. "Although, I would love to let the princesses have some fun with them. They have grudges on them, so I'll give them the opportunity to blow some steam off," Mykel added.
"What about Sasha? What are you going to do since this will be your second encounter," Elena asked and looked at Mykel curiously.
"I don't have any plan to talk with her, and I don't think she's allowed to speak or get close to me. So, we'll see," Mykel answered honestly to Elena.
Aurea and Lillith came into the office with blood all over their bodies.
"Can you guys at least clean yourself first before you came here?" Lyneth looked at them with her eyebrows raised.
"We heard about the press conference. I'm just wondering when are you going to attack them because I want in," Aurea answered and wiped the blood on her cheeks.
"We're not going to attack them soon. I want to make them anxious first, and now that you both are here, I have a job for you two," Elena answered as she walked toward them. "You guys are going to love this job, so follow me. You too, Amaryllis," Elena smiled and then left the office as she dragged them both with her.
Lyneth watched as Elena dragged Aurea and Lillith with her to the elevator.
"She inherits both of our personalities, but yours is the most dominant one. It always makes me feel blissful when I look at her and what she has become because I never thought that I could become a good mother or even a mother," Lyneth said as she rested her head on Mykel's shoulder.
"What are you talking about? You conceived her for nine months and you suffered a lot. You have become a great mother to bring her into this world, and I can't thank you enough for that," Mykel replied and then kissed Lyneth on the forehead.

Lyneth smiled suspiciously and then she sat on Mykel's lap as she put her arms around his neck. She didn't stop smiling at him which made Mykel know what she was thinking and what she was about to say.
"Say, Mykel. Since I have been doing nothing and there isn't any job for me to do. Do you think we can add one more?" Lyneth asked with her lips right in front of Mykel's.
"You want more?" Mykel asked with his eyebrows raised.
"Yes, and I want a daughter again," Lyneth answered and nodded her head as she giggled.
"Let's see what I can do," Mykel smiled and then kissed Lyneth passionately and carried her in his arms.
(In the heaven)
Uriel was on her knees in front of the blinding light that sat on the throne. She was nervous and scared after she told everything that happened when she came down to Earth. She also gave the seeds back to where they belonged, so she felt a bit relieved that she managed to keep her promise.
"My Lord?" Uriel lifted her head and she was a bit confused about what she had heard.
Uriel listened to the explanation of what The Lord had said earlier. She still had no idea what it meant, and why it had something to do with the request that she had asked him.
"My Lord. I apologize for my lack of intelligence, but I don't understand why it has something to do with removing your almighty power inside Mykel's body?" Uriel asked with her eyebrows furrowed.n/ô/vel/b//in dot c//om
Uriel looked at The Lord with a serious expression as she listened carefully. She then started to understand why it had something to do with the power that Mykel possessed.
"So it is possible," Uriel looked down and she looked so relieved that it was possible to remove the power inside Mykel's body.
The light became brighter and closer to Uriel and it made her bow her head down and didn't dare to look at it anymore. She then felt a warmth on the back of her head and on her back that made her feel at peace.
"My Lord?!" Uriel suddenly jolted and looked up, but the light had disappeared and she couldn't find it anywhere. "My Lord? What is that supposed to mean?" Uriel asked with her trembling voice and shocked expression.
Uriel slowly stood up and looked at the empty throne with a saddened expression. She then slowly spread her wings and then flew away as tears fell to her chin.
"The end is near, and I won't let that happen. Mykel, you have to disappear," Uriel said and went down to meet with the other Archangels.
Uriel landed and the first one who came to her was Raphael, and he looked at Uriel's devastated expression. He wondered what had happened, but he let Uriel calm herself down first by reading the books she had written.
"We believe in fate since it is The Lord's will, but have you ever wondered what kind of fate The Lord has?" Uriel asked as she closed the book in her hands.
"Uriel, that's blasphemy!" Raphael yelled and glared at Uriel in disbelief. "Your curiosity is drifting you further away from The Lord!" Raphael warned.
"Blasphemy? What part of it counts as blasphemy when I'm only asking about what The Lord has prepared for himself and his purpose if extinction is unavoidable?" Uriel asked and looked at Raphael with a confused look.
"Extinction? What are you talking about?" Raphael asked back with a confused look.
"Everything that you know is not important, and it's better for you to not know what the future has to offer," Uriel answered and grabbed another book and read it. "There was a human who said that ignorance is bliss, and I can't agree more," Uriel smiled weakly.
