Chapter 204 – I’M SORRY, ELLENA

"It's been taking so long, what have you two been talking about? It's been more than five seconds!"

Before Ellena had finished talking to Richard, suddenly Lucas' voice broke. This immediately caught Ellena and Richard's attention, even including Adley, who had been watching from a distance.

Lucas was seen walking over to Ellena and Richard who were still standing opposite each other, a few meters from their car.

"Of course. Letting you talk to my wife would be a very big mistake. You no-nonsense!" Lucas stepped forward. Bringing his body and face closer to Richard.

"Stop! You two are so childish." Ellena interrupted just in time. Upset to see the two men whose behavior is very outrageous according to her.

Meanwhile in the car Lucas only controls the car with one hand. His left hand was still holding Ellena's hand. It was as if he was very afraid that she would leave him again later.

"What's wrong with you?" Ellena asked as he kissed the back of her hand that was still holding Lucas's.

"I miss you so much," Ellena whispered as she rested her head on Lucas' shoulder.

The man smiled happily and said, "I miss you more, Honey."

There was no more talking after that. They were lost in their own thoughts.

"Don't worry. Leave it all to me," Lucas said as if realizing Ellena's nervous feelings.

The speed of the vehicle slowed and stopped when entering the yard of a luxury house. There was a middle-aged woman standing in front of the door waiting for their arrival. He tightened the cloth covering his shoulders from the cold. Then, smiling warmly at the arrival of Ellena and Lucas.

No wonder Lucas immediately took Ellena back to his house, didn't go to his parents' house first, it turned out that Veronica was already waiting there.

"Welcome back, Honey." Greet Veronika with a happy face. She hugged Ellena's body tightly.

Ellena was stunned for a moment, before hugging her mother-in-law back. At first he doubted that the middle-aged woman would actually accept it. However, it seemed that all of that was just her doubts. The proof is the mother-in-law is now hugging him tightly. It was as if she was worried about him.

"I'm glad you and your mother are okay. I was very worried when I found out you were kidnapped. Luckily you all survived and the kidnapper has been arrested. I hope the culprit is caught soon." Veronika said with a friendly smile. Very different from usual.

"Thank you, Mommy." Ellena was still a little hesitant because of that she still kept a little distance from her mother-in-law.

"I'm sorry, Ellena. I apologize for all my mistakes and stupidity. I should have known that all the photos at that time were fake," said Veronika with a sad face. It seemed that he also felt that his son-in-law still did not believe in his sincerity.

"Come on in, honey. Clean up and get some rest. You must be tired, right? I'll have the maids bring some food to your rooms."

"Thanks, Mommy," Lucas said after landing a quick kiss on his mother's forehead.

"Thank you, Mommy." Elena also expressed her gratitude. Veronica replied with a smile and a gentle caress on the top of her daughter-in-law's head.

Lucas took Ellena's hand again. Leading the woman back to their room.

Ellena looked around the room. Still the same as the last time se saw her. Nothing is different. In fact, all the clothes and makeup that she often uses are still neatly arranged.

"Take a shower first, Honey. z . . ." Lucas deliberately hung up and wanted to see his wife's reaction.

"Or what?" asked Elena curiously.

"Or … do you want me to take a bath?" Ellena widened her eyes at Lucas' question

"Why? Oh, or do you want to take a bath with me?" Lucas immediately launched his temptation.

Lucas watched Ellena's reflection until it disappeared behind the door. The man secretly shed tears when he was alone. How happy his heart is now because he is back with the woman he loves the most. He promised himself that he would make her happy and protect her from anyone.

The days he passed without Ellena were the toughest times for him.

After Ellena finished, it was Lucas' turn to clean up.

"Hurry up and get dressed and eat with me, honey," said Ellena as Lucas had just come out of the bathroom. The man just smiled and nodded in approval. Hastily put on clothes and joined the wife.

"Looks! ¡{•<°°♤⁴ke Mommy told the waiter to prepare your favorite food, honey." Lucas said that after looking at the food on the table.

"Yes, it seems so." Elena smiled happily. "Why?" asked later.

Lucas shook his head slowly. "It's okay. I'm just glad to see you eating again. I've been really worried about whether you're living well and eating regularly or not?"

"I always eat good food, Lucas. Because Mr. Richard always invites me to eat at a fancy restaurant." Ellena answered casually and managed to make Lucas' eyes widen perfectly.

Instantly Elena shrunk at the sight. He immediately frowned and lowered his head. Unable to reply to her husband's gaze, which seemed so piercing.

"What were you doing with him, huh?" Lucas asked sarcastically. Of course he felt envious and jealous when he heard that statement.
