"Miss Selena?"

Ellena's voice immediately distracted Selena, who was standing in front of the cake cupboard with her eyes focused on the device in her hand.

The woman looked up and spread a bitter grin at Ellena who had just appeared in the room.

"Hi, Mrs Lucas." Selena greeted with a sarcastic look. The corner of her lips seemed to lift, as if to show the impression of disapproval.

Meanwhile, Ellena is still a little taken aback by the presence of her husband's ex-lover. She walked slowly over to Selena with a dazed look that was thrown at the woman.

"What did you need to come here for?" asked Ellena without further ado, right after she stood in front of Selena and stopped in her tracks.

Again, Selena just smiled bitterly at the question. I don't know what the purpose of coming to Ellena's place was, even though she had been successfully angered by Ellena before.

"Relax, Elle. Why are you so bothered by my coming here, huh?" Selena seemed to be more relaxed than before. I don't know what really happened, so her attitude towards Ellena suddenly changed.

Hearing Selena's words, Ellena seemed to knit her brows, feeling surprised. Actually what will be conveyed by the woman, so it looks so enthusiastic.

Ellena was still stunned staring at Selena. She still didn't want to ask about the important information the woman was referring to. Of course she didn't want to immediately show her curiosity by asking Selena directly, even though she really wanted to do that.

"Why, Elle? Are you curious about that important information?" Selena asked with a look that seemed isolating.

Ellena still didn't answer and just looked at Selena curiously. She wanted to know what the woman said next. What really makes Selena look that happy today. Ah, will that woman bring new problems for her.

"Okay, Mrs. Lucas. Since you are now the legal wife of my ex-lover, so I'll tell you something important." Selena said while smiling. "Oops, I mean Mr. Lucas Fidell's temporary wife." She added, pursed lips.

Surprised. That statement certainly managed to make Ellena jump. Do not believe. How could Selena know that? Not wanting Selena to realize her shock, Ellena immediately tried to neutralize her feelings again.

"Are you surprised, Elle?" Selena seemed to deliberately want to knock Ellena down with her question.

Ellena invited Selena to walk first to one of the empty tables in the middle of the crowd. Meanwhile, she seemed to be following Selena behind. She didn't forget to ask one of the shop assistants to prepare drinks and cakes for herself and Selena.

Now they are sitting opposite each other. Still looking at each other without any further discussion. A few moments later a shop assistant brought two cups of coffee and a few pieces of chocolate cake.

"So what exactly did you come here for?" asked Ellena not wanting to mince words. Immediately ending her conversation with Selena, it seemed that it would be better.

"I think you already know what I meant and what I came here for." Selena answered, starting to guess what was on Ellena's mind.

"Speak clearly. My time is very short and can't be too long to serve you!" said Elena.

Selena chuckled for a moment, before responding to Ellena's words. "Okay. It's simple, I came here just to convey my happiness." She said which managed to make Ellena confused.

Of course, Ellena didn't understand the meaning behind Selena's words. What happiness does that woman mean?

"What do you mean, Miss?" Ellena seemed to be frowning, looking at Selena questioningly.

"Honestly, Elle. You and Lucas married because of an agreement, right? I already know everything and of course that's happy news for me," Selena replied revealing what she had only recently learned about Ellena and Lucas' marriage.

Although from the beginning she had thought so, but because there was no authentic evidence, she became unsure of her guess.

"You don't talk carelessly, Miss. How can you be so sure, without the evidence you have," replied Ellena not wanting to lose.

"It turned out that my guess was right that you married not because of love, but because you were forced to. I should have believed in that allegation from the start, but today I believe that all of it is true and I have proof, Elle," explained Selena, which suddenly made Ellena's heart beat wildly. I don't know where Selena got the evidence in question.

"You know what? What can I do with the evidence?" Selena asked as if threatening.

"What evidence do you have? Just so you know, we've ended the agreement and agreed to live happily ever after. So I hope you don't get too confident about getting Lucas back!" said Ellena forced to tell the truth.

"Oh yeah? Then, what about Lucas' parents. Did they allow their son to marry a poor woman like you?" The stabbing question that came out of Selena's mouth managed to make Ellena's eyes widen perfectly.

Ah, what if the woman was desperate to tell her two in-laws? What will happen? Will they accept her again as a daughter-in-law? Ellena's mind began to wonder.

"Don't you ever dare threaten me!" said Elena, pouting her lips.

"Who threatened you, Elle. Do you really feel that much of a threat to what I said?" Selena's reply made Ellena even more furious. "I'm curious, how will Mr. Albert and Mrs. Albert react if they find out all these facts." She added later.

"I've never interfered with your life and please don't you dare interfere with my life with Lucas. We've been living happily ever after." Ellena replied, revealing the truth.

"You don't have to worry, Elle. I can keep this a secret." Selena said later. "But on one condition!" She continued again trying to threaten Ellena.

Ellena chuckled in response. It turned out that his guess was right that Selena's arrival was only to bring new problems for her. Even so, she still tried not to be influenced by the woman's threat.

"Prepare 1 billion, if you want this secret to be kept well and don't let Lucas know about this," said Selena before Ellena responded to her previous words.

"You sly woman!" Ellena cursed as she clenched her fists, trying to contain her anger.

"Ha ha ha. Life is cruel, Elle. And to face that cruelty, we have to be even more cruel. I think you know what I mean." Selena replied, still relaxed and calm, without feeling afraid and guilty.

"Please do whatever you want. I would never be swayed by your threats, Miss. Besides, I'm sure Lucas' parents aren't people who look up to someone for their money." Ellena seems to be trying to stand firm in her stance and doesn't want to be influenced by Selena's threats.

"Oh yeah? You seem pretty sure, Elle. But what if they find out that you're in a relationship with someone other than Lucas?"
