"Booth no 99's bid going thrice! Congratulations!" the auctioneer put away the hammer and clapped.

The audience burst into talking as the weapon was finally sold.

"I'll be back. Gonna go get the dough," Aleron chuckled and disappeared.

Meanwhile, a beautiful red-haired lady, who was a staff member of the auction entered their

VIP booth with a circular head-sized silver ring in her hand-an artifact found from the battlefield zone and mass-produced into a lower-quality version, commonly known as Transport Ring.

After the spear container was taken away from the stage, a hand emerged from the ring in the lady's hand. The hand threw a storage pouch containing the spear toward her.

"Wait a bit please," Rias said with a smile.

"No problem, Princess Rias," the lady nodded with a polite smile. 'The one who spoke was a man, is she waiting for him?'

A few seconds later, Aleron returned, appearing right back on the sofa couch.

Aleron also had lots of storage pouches as the Falran kingdom already had plenty of them. As such, he returned after putting 20,000 magic stones into one.

"Here, twenty-thousand SSS-grade magic stones," Aleron smiled and handed the pouch to the staff member.

"Your appearance..." Roxen was speechless.

Indeed, the staff lady's eyes widened in shock as she stammered, "Y-Y-You...."

"Oh shit," Aleron cursed and quickly activated his disguise skill to change his appearance as his hair turned light blue while his face, body, and height also changed.

"Do not tell anyone he is here," Rias said with a wry smile.

The red-haired gulped and nodded before she composed herself and gave a ninety-degree bow to Aleron a grateful expression, "Thank you for patronage and everything you did, young master Aleron. If you didn't punish my husband, I would still have my painful shackles." Aleron broadly smiled and got her up by grabbing her shoulder, "You're welcome, lady. Live your life to the fullest in peace. That's the only thing I want for everyone."

After the lady left, Aleron sat down and immediately took out the spear box from the pouch and took out the fabulous weapon.

"What is its name? I think you can name it however you want," Rias said as she curiously looked at the weapon.

"Hmmm," Aleron inspected the spear and was surprised to get its details.

"Dragonburst Jade Spear is the name, haha. It looks cool," Aleron grinned as he held the spear. 'I need more Primeval-rank weapons, but Gacha is not a reliable source of it for now. I need to get stronger before doing gacha for it.'

After all, the summons he did depended on his power. He had plenty of Gacha Points, but the next system upgrade cost 50k Gacha points, so he needed to gather more points to summon various stuff and powers while also keeping in mind the upgrade.

'I need to gamble reliably and daily.'

"It's a wonderful weapon," Roxen said with a nod. "Will you buy more Primeval-rank treasures from this auction?"

"That depends," Aleron replied before putting away the spear into his inventory and looking at the auction as items were getting sold fast.

"The real treasures will take an hour or more," Rias said as she stood up, "I'll go and order something to drink and snack."

Aleron chuckled and said, "I want to drink a sweet and sour juice of some fruit then."

"I was reminded of famous delicious cookies because of this auctioneer," Rias grinned. "I'll order those. What about you Roxen?"

"Hmm, I want Tango Rolls."

"Alright."

Rias called a staff member from the booth's call function and ordered the stuff before sitting beside Aleron.

'Control...control,' Rias thought as she calmed her heart. She really wanted to get closer to Aleron, both physically and emotionally. However, haste makes waste, so she reined herself. Aleron was watching the auction and items, but all of them were useless to him.

More like, he had plenty of them because most of those were pills, potions, rare resources of Legendary-rank and Exceed-rank...all of which he had plenty in his secret realm.

"Rias," Aleron turned to Rias but was startled to see that she was also looking at him.

Rias's cheeks slightly turned red but she quickly composed herself, "What?"

"I am going to take a nap of sort, so when Primeval-rank resources start coming up, can you nudge me a bit?"

"Mhmm, okay," Rias nodded.

"Thanks, but don't ask me what this is, haha." Aleron took out the head-gear ring of Combat Lords VRMMORPG and said, "I'll show you some fun stuff later in my secret realm." Aleron put on the head-gear ring and closed his eyes after leaning back on the comfy couch.

But just as he was about to start it, someone knocked on the door.

Rias waved her hand as she unlocked the door and stood up to see the guest.

"Who are you?" Roxen asked with raised eyebrows upon looking at the middle-aged man. 'That symbol on his robe ...is he from Nightwing Empire?'

Aleron also stood up and turned around to see what came about to them.

"I am from Booth No. 17," Thazor said with a short bow, "I shall not beat around the bush. I am called Thazor, a subordinate of the Golden Eagle clan. I am here with Young Lord Lex and we specifically attended this auction for that spear."

'The one who was bidding for the spear?' Aleron raised his eyebrows. 'It seems they haven't given up on it.'

"We are willing to pay 16,000 SSS-grade magic stones and other treasures that are worth 5000 magic stones for the spear," Thazor said before he bowed shortly again. "This is our sincere

request."

"Thanks for the offer, but that spear is not for sale anymore," Aleron wryly smiled. "To me, this spear is more valuable than a hundred thousand magic stones because I have magic stones, but not Primeval-rank weapons."

"You heard it," Rias said as she cooley glanced at the middle-aged man "and this decision is

final."

'Who is he? A legendary-rank young guy looking the same age as Princess Rias and young lord...could he be a student of Lightdust Academy?' Thazor thought as he looked at Aleron. "Understood. I will relay this to my young lord," Thazor said as he bowed and left.

After he left, Aleron curiously asked, "Where's this Golden Eagle clan, and who is that young

lord?"

"Nightwing Empire's strongest clan after the empire's royal family. The clan head is a primeval rank, just like the previous emperor of the empire," Roxen answered. "Your Empire doesn't have Primeval rank but they got two?" Aleron wryly smiled. Rias sighed upon hearing that, "That's why we are pressured by them. We have means to defend ourselves, but once the war with demons starts, we'll be at a disadvantage." "That's why I need to get stronger," Rias clenched her fists. "Grandfather Roshi is close to breaking through to primeval rank as well. He is working hard for it."

"Working hard is necessary indeed," Aleron nodded as he appeared thoughtful, "but now that I am working on a big plan that involves this whole continent, the flow and shape of war

might change."

Rias and Roxen nodded. They could already imagine Aleron's big impact on the war.

"Anyway, it still depends on the time. I will move and do things at my pace until it starts,"

Aleron grinned and sat back down on the couch. "Alright, back to nap."
