The Wanted Wife: Daddy, Mommy Escapes again!

Chapter 5: Seventeen-year-old Florence

Proofread by Feng Lei

The words, like a sharp blade, pierce into her heart quickly and hard.

The rainy season in the south is long and torturing.

Florence is drenched, and her face is almost transparently pale, as if she would faint at any time.

The front door of the villa is tightly closed. It seems that nobody is likely to open it. Florence has no idea how long she has been kneeling here.

Last night, Brian took Nelson away. She was not strong enough to take him back, so she went all the way here, from late night to dawn.

Four years ago, it was the old man who saved her. But now, no one can help her again.

So she can only stay here on her knees, begging Brian in the most stupid way to return Nelson to her.

The rain becomes heavier and heavier, and a car with the front light on is coming. It passes by Florence without a pause. The door of the villa is opened from the inside, and the car goes straight in from the gate.

Then the carved iron gate closes again in front of her without any mercy.

In the villa, Brian and Nelson are having breakfast in the dining room. Having parked the car, Rodney goes in with some documents and sees Brian and his little son gazing at each other in speechless dismay.

The nanny fills a bowl with porridge for Nelson. But as soon as she hands it to Nelson, he raises his hand and throws the bowl to the floor, "I don't eat anything given by bad guys. I want my mommy! You are all bad guys..."

His features are obviously like Brian's, but as unbending as Florence, which makes Brian very uncomfortable.

Brian stares at Nelson's wolf-like fierce eyes and his face suddenly changes. He raises his eyebrows and says with cold voice, "You will not see Florence again in the future. She does not want you. If you I don't want to eat, there won't any chance for you to regret!"

After all, Nelson is a child. Having been tossed for a whole night yesterday, at hearing this, Nelson is a little bit stunned, "You liar, my mother won't abandon me. She said she likes me best..."

Brian is stunned for a moment, and a smiling face flashes through his brain. In the sun, the girl said with confidence: "Brian, I like you best."

That was the 17-year-old Florence.

The child in front of him has his features but her temper. Brian frowns and puts down the chopsticks. He says slightly, "Like? Li's emotion is the most worthless. In no time, her favorite person will not be you!"

Nelson's eyes are wide open and retorts, "Impossible! You liar!" The child blusters. After a moment, sadness gradually swells into his eyes. He cries out, "I wanna go home, I want my mum..."

Rodney, standing at the door, watches the whole scene. He only feels that Brian is too hard on this child. Thinking of the teetering Florence when he drove in, he can't help frowning and interrupts the tense atmosphere between the father and the son.

“Sir!”

Brian comes to himself and looks at the crying Nelson. He is a little annoyed and tells the nanny, "Feed him, then coax him to sleep."

“Yes!”

Out of the dining room, Brian looks at Rodney and says calmly, "If you want to say something, just say it. You know, I do not like those the least who hesitate in speech."

He is like this, as if he could see through everyone. Even if Rodney is hesitant, watching the endless rain through the French window, he says, "Sir, if you let her continue to kneel there, I am afraid she may die."

On hearing his words, immediately, Brian narrows his amorous eyes ...
