The Villain's Little Cat

Chapter 208 - 208 Seventh Floor

208 Seventh Floor

Kyle looked at Marc and silently send out the healing elements to him. He himself can also use Kate’s healing ability but not her reverse healing. His pig like face slowly returned to normal.

“What happened?” Kyle arched his eyebrows. There shouldn’t be anyone who dared to attack them in this third floor, right? This had already become their exclusive base and even those researchers didn’t dare to come here easily after they had finished setting up the defense.

“I got beaten up by Lucy when I want to fetch Robby.” Marc sighed deeply.

Kate blinked her eyes and saw Lucy walked out of her room with Robby following behind her with head lowered as if he did something wrong. Looking at Lucy’s wet hair, Kate had an inkling about what had happened not long ago.

He looked at Marc with a look of pity.

Considering Lucy’s strength that had skyrocketed after she awakened enhancement ability… he could only imagine how bad it would be to suffer under her fist.

He felt extremely glad that Kate didn’t awaken the enhancement ability. If he were to be beaten up by her… that would be really miserable.

“That’s your fault for entering without knocking.” Lucy snorted. She turned to look at Kyle. “Captain, are we going to go on a mission again?”

“Not now.” Kyle pointed to the training room. “Let’s go to the seventh floor.”

.....

Their eyes lit up when they heard about the seventh floor.

“Shall I wake Jake, Dylan, and Lotte first?” Lucy asked. She had strong power to beat the door, which will definitely wake the people who were inside.

“No need. I don’t want to repair the door again and I’m already awake.” Jake’s lips twitched when he heard Lucy’s words. With Lucy’s monstrous ability, he had to repair the door over and over when she was the one in charge of waking up the others.

That had been the nightmare for him.

Dylan was behind him and nodded too.

They didn’t want to have to repair their door every morning. That would be extremely troublesome.

Lucy looked at their expression and sighed regretfully.

Too bad that she couldn’t destroy their door.

“Where’s Lotte?”

“She’s upstairs, getting some breakfast for us. I heard that they’re making sandwich.” Jake drooled a bit when he thought about the delicious sandwich that was made once a week by the researcher’s upstairs.

Some type of foods could only be made occasionally now and had become the luxury.

Thankfully, they all still had variety of food and also people who could cook. Thus, the food made in the canteen that was set up for them.

It was really good for them to stay in this Research Institute.

At the very least, they could eat good food occasionally.

“There are still enough flour?”

“I heard that they’re planning to plant the rice and wheat again. And the greenhouses are in the making on top of almost several buildings to promote food.” Lotte entered with a plate of sandwich. “Our breakfast for today. Little Kitty, you need to change into a child to eat.”

“Meow.” <I know>

With no other choice, Kate turned into a child and took one of the sandwich. The others then entered the training room and began to climb down one by one. The door in the training room was well hidden and only those who knew that there was a door might be able to enter.

The entrance itself was somewhat narrow and they built a circular stair heading down. The stairs itself was not that well made, but it was enough for them. Additionally, there was movement, facial, and even power recognition for all of them.

This way, no one but the eight of them could enter the seventh floor.

(Kyle, Dylan, Jake, Marc, Robby, Kate, Lotte, Lucy)

This defense system had only been added after they had completed some of the layout and made a spacious area on the seventh floor. it was now looked like the research facility in that abandoned research facility.

“We’re here.” Lotte looked around with satisfaction. “I can’t believe that this place used to be nothing but pile of earth.”

“That’s because you didn’t participate in the making.” Jake rolled his eyes. “This area is more than 10 km square wide with several rooms partition. I also have to install some pillars to make sure we would not cause the area above to drop.”

“There are some rocks that we had brought from City F, so you’re in charge of installing them for the defense, Jake.” Kyle glanced at Jake.

“I know.”

Kate was still nibbling on the sandwich and conveniently took out those pile of things that she had gathered before in City F. Some rocks, metals, and even valuable and rare metals. They were all clumped together.

It was not like Kate couldn’t divide them, but she was a bit too lazy considering the amount.

“Let’s go to work, Marc.” Jake waved his hand and then looked at the dog. “You too, Robby.”

“Wang! Wang! Wang!” <Ok, I know! will work even harder this time!>

“Just make sure you don’t misplace the metal again.” Marc laughed and patted Robby’s head.

“Wang! Wang! Wang!”

Kyle chuckled. “It’s time to add some furniture and change the rooms from empty rooms to better place.”

“Oh! Then I’m going to help you with the design!” Lotte raised her hand. “I’m not going to let you destroy the aesthetic again.”

Kyle’s lips twitched a bit. Was he that bad?

Lucy looked at Lotte curiously. “Then I guess I help?”

“Yes!”

“Little Kitty, take out some furniture and it’s time to put them into the rooms.”

“Okay.” Kate put the last piece of sandwich into her mouth and then took out several ordinary furniture.

From bed, tables, chairs, and so on.

Dylan looked at the items and recognized them from his mall. He then took out the catalogue that he had been keeping inside his phone. “Follow this.”

“We’re going to make our rooms here too?” Lotte’s eyes shone.

“Marriage room?” Dylan looked at Lotte.

“No! I want separate room! Or at least… room side by side but we will still sleep separately for now…”
