Chapter 485 Sensing All Of Asterion
485 Sensing All Of Asterion
Chapter 485
...…
Azmond's Divine Sense had already surpassed a hundred million miles in diameter, and technically, he could already scan all of Asterion after a few rounds of scanning. n/ô/vel/b//jn dot c//om
But where was the fun in that? He would rather make his finding of the Giant White Wolf an occasion to celebrate his breakthrough into the Quantum Tribulation Transcendance Realm.
After all, what sort of celebration was better than meeting up with lost friends and catching up?
Furthermore, this 'friend' of his was sure to be a fluffy fluffy big girl!
I can't wait to fluff that Giant White Wolf… Hehe…
Azmond creepily laughed a little while imagining all the lazing around he would do on the back of his companion, just like the old days in the deep cavern.
Nonetheless, he was taken out of his reverie by the voices of Boundless, Emu, and Calista…
|Are you ready to go out and do something, Azmond!?| Boundless asked after noticing that Azmond had slightly opened his closed eyes.
"...Hungry… Food… New Hungry…" Calista mumbled with an adorably disgruntled expression, as she seemed to be attempting to convey her dissatisfaction with the lack of food variety.
As much as she loved munching on sushi all day, Calista wanted to try something else for change!
Specifically, she had been thinking about this tuna that she saw in a shop window of the Country Outskirts of the Royal City of AquaRing.
Drool almost leaked out of her mouth when she recalled the way that the tantalizing fish was staring her down.
Nevertheless, it looked like Calista wasn't the only voracious one, as a black and gold slime bobbed up and down a little while its eyes shined like the most dazzling of gold ingots!
"Mhmu! Mhmu!" 'Those space bugs were good, but I want human food too!'
Emu bounced around for a few moments before jumping up on Azmond's bed of long black hair.
Azmond looked at all the expectant gazes around him, as he knew what he had to do to satisfy them all.
It looks like I'll need to delay my continued cultivation until we get back from a fun day out.
Azmond shrugged his shoulders a tad bit before walking over to the door that leads out of the mansion room.
"Well, are you girls coming?" He asked with an amused voice, his head turning in the direction of the two frazzled beauties.
After hearing Azmond's inviting words, both Calista and Boundless had their eyes sparkle as they frolicked away from their spots and headed toward the wolf-masked man.
A few seconds later, as the gang were making their way down the spiraling blue stairs of the IronHeart Mansion,.
"...Luv you, mate…" Calista murmured from atop broad shoulders.
Azmond gazed kindly at the cute face looking over the top of his head as he flashed a radiant smile before saying, "I'm glad you're having fun."
The Catkin girl's ears bent down at this response as her brows furrowed, and she said, "That's not what you're supposed to say back to me…"
But it didn't take long before his confusion was cleared up as Calista wrapped her fluffy gray and white tail around his head before saying, "You're supposed to say, I love you back. This is what Big Sister told me…"
"???" Question marks were going off in Azmond's head; however, it didn't take him long to understand, as he replied, "I'm sorry, Calista. I guess I was pretty inconsiderate, huh?"
After realizing the mistake he made, Azmond focused his mesmerizing multi-colored gaze on Calista before whispering, "I love you too."
The adorable catkin girl was taken aback by this abrupt 'declaration of love' as her tail started to wiggle around before she asked, "Really…? So does that mean Mate has decided to be my Mate…?"
Calista became a little excited at such a notion as hearts formed in her eyes; her entire existence focused only on Azmond.
However, much to her dismay, the wolf-masked man put on an uncomfortable expression before saying, "I'm sorry, Calista, but it goes against my moral compass to have a lover of such a young and impressionable age."
"What…?" Calista's excitement immediately died out as her eyes seemed to lose their shine before she mumbled, "Mate… Meanie…"
After which, the adorable catkin girl started to sniffle while gripping onto Azmond's soft strands of raven black hair.
"..."
Azmond felt bad about telling her upfront like that, but it just didn't feel right for him to do anything with her, given that his mental age was already thirty years old.
It wasn't like he didn't enjoy being around Calista, but in the end, she was still a kid…
And although Azmond was many things, a child predator was not one of them.
Nonetheless, he couldn't exactly leave her in such a depressed state, so he tenderly kissed her on the forehead before saying, "How about this? If you still feel the same way in ten years, then we can see what happens from there, Kay~?"
Azmond felt like his little angel deserved at least this much, and he was sure that she would eventually get over him after getting out into the world.
However, contrary to his expectations, Calista's eyes returned to their bright, pretty shade of misty gray as she pulled Azmond's face to hers before asking, "Really!? You promise!?"
For the first time in ages, Calista raised her voice, as she seemed to be really passionate when it came to this topic.
Azmond was surprised by her sudden movements from atop his head, as he could feel her fuzzy tail whacking him.
She seems to be really happy about this…?
Azmond didn't understand why Calista appeared to like this news a lot, but regardless of his thoughts, he said, "I promise you."
Although he was confused, Azmond wasn't one to renege on promises, and this would be no exception.
However, he was betting on the future where Calista would eventually get over him.
Though that doesn't mean there will be any more boys in her life…
