Chapter 452 The FrameWork Built on Love, Spite, And Moons
[HAWI]
"Trey is right too, Seb. If we go down, we go down together. Besides, we are the enemies of the realm. No one will ever truly love us. Our mates will forever look at us differently. They will see us as the reason the realm was divided.
"They'll always see us as the reason nothing ever worked for the other white wolves and while it's somewhat interesting, it isn't. They will hate us and there isn't a thing that we can do about it. No matter how useful it all seems, think of all the things we have done.
"We have murdered millions along the way. We have sent millions to their deaths because they stood by us and are even rallying towards Sicario despite knowing that the warriors there are trained and could kill them in an instant.
"We have destroyed families and they tried to fight back and couldn't because we always were powerful. Just because we got someone who bested us doesn't mean we have to give up.
"Besides, didn't Father always say that we would be hated? So why are you doing this? What the fuck is this sudden epiphany when we have come so far? Do you want to give up everything for mates who will reject us once they know who we are?
"We have a cursed last name, brother. Nothing you or I ever do will ever make it to the good side of history books that we burned and had them write up afresh, and the sooner you accept that, the sooner we get this over and done with.
"We cannot fight fate, we must accept it. After all, when was the last time you saw a blood rain if not in just Sicario but the entire realm? Everyone already knows that we burn to death, so there's no point for sentiments.
"If they want to kill us, then we might as well keep fighting until they win, because they will win, everyone knows the good will defeat the evil. And sad as it might be, we are that particular evil at the moment, there's no need to fight it!" Alex bellowed as he started his brother in discontent.
They had come so far and endured far too much for them to give up like this. It was their fate to be linked and he had long accepted that. No matter how hard they tried to make it better, nothing would ever work for them.
They were cursed and they were never going to be able to have a better life. So, there wasn't even a point in trying to hold on for the betterment of society. They had been the reason the society had been fucked up, so this, was nothing, right?
And even if it was anything, reality was forever going to be a son of a bitch. They were mated to the good side of the realm, the same people they were fighting against.
"You don't know that, Alex. The books talked of a good white wolf who would sincerely rule the realm. Sicario has done all that. She has fought us while making sure the realm is a good place for people right now.
"Granted, there is blood rain, but that's only because we pushed her here. The queen who was promised was a just one, and I believe Sicario understands that whether we accept her or not she will always be the queen that was promised.
"We are her subjects and by default, she is bound to listen to us," Sebastian tried in the hopes that everything would be alright. They had to count for something or anything on this dei of the realm and his desire to see his siblings live was fueling him.
Perhaps if he tried to make a deal with Hawi she would consider letting his siblings be so that they could go home and have their lives. Perhaps that was just a lot of hope on Sebastian's end; he needed to accept that shit had happened and mercy was a dream.
This time, Amina let out a maniacal laugh. She felt bad for her brother who was still hopeful even after all the shit they had done to Hawi. Perhaps hope was the dumbest thing they ever had, right?
"That was before we turned her heart into one stone by killing everyone she loved, dumbass," Amina said earnestly, the pain in her voice so obvious even as she tried to mask it all under that rain with a smile on her face.
She knew they had fucked up, and if ever the tables had been turned and they were on the side where Hawi was at the moment, Amina knew they would have done worse than her.
They would have redefined rage and that was something they couldn't deny, not at this point anyway, because the crimes they had committed didn't deserve any pardons. Hell, even they knew that already.

Hawi watched in silence as they talked about their truths. Hawi had long known that her job as the white wolf wasn't the easiest, especially when she would have dealt with the people who took out her family.
She was supposed to kill them but as she watched them give in to their fate, as she watched life fade from their eyes, she wondered if this was what she wanted to be remembered for.
If she wanted to be remembered as the woman who had a heart of stone that couldn't feel shit. She wondered if this was what everyone saw her as. And if this was the only reason she had been selected for the job.
Had the universe fucked her up intentionally so she would become this mess that the Russels had made their peace with?
"Aww, how sweet of you to consider history lessons. This reminds me of the countless times that you could have stopped the charade, the times you should have not messed with my life and let me live my boring werewolf life in peace.
"but you all just couldn't let that happen, right? You just had to act like the universe was filled with unicorns that you lot supplied from your asses, no? Well, perhaps this will remind you never to try shit that you can't deal with then you get a sudden awakening, Sebastian.
"I reject your offer, Sebastian," Hawi said as she looked right into Trey's eyes, knowing so well that this was the last straw of humanity for her, she had the power to kill them and end the war once and for all.
She was the only creature alive that could eliminate them all and no one would ever ask any questions, and right as she looked at them, her body covered in the blood rain, she was reminding them of who they had turned her into.
She wouldn't ever get tired of doing that anyway.
They had worked ruthlessly to eliminate everything that she had loved and now with Ruru not in the same space as them, they had expected that she would rip them apart and never forgive them.
But then Hawi was a predator. She had given them a chance to fight her. She had let them believe that there was a chance that they would come to her and be alive, in the name of her history.
Well, they were right about her history, but then it was that same history that had broken her heart onto a thousand pieces. They had orchestrated it, and they had no right to hope for better days.n/ô/vel/b//jn dot c//om
"Hawi, no. Please. Take me and Seb then. Let Trey have a chance with his mate. Let Hudhayfah see what happiness can be like, even if it is for a short period. They have been looking for each other for years on end.
"They have been hoping to find each other and now that there is a real possibility of that, please don't take it away. If not for Trey, then for Hudhayfah, please," Amina begged and Hawi laughed maniacally as the skies opened and the rain stopped.
She had been to so many places and she knew what circuses looked like. But even with all that history under her belt, Hawi never thought that this fucked up state was possible.
They were appealing to her humanity yet they made her into another monster at the same time. They were messing with her and hoping she would be the one they had been taught in the old books.
It was almost like they didn't know that this was the psycho who never gave a shit now that she had nothing left to lose. Regret was a constant visitor in their lives and if they were being honest with themselves, the forces that kept the universe steady had left.
"Look at them, Malika. These people are funny. One is willing to take the fall and die, the other is willing to join him, and the rest, one is hoping to see his mate even though there's a chance he might never leave this place alive…
"…And the other one with the Sifir is standing there hoping that the universe could be kinder and they will get out of here alive. Perhaps they are forgetting that I have already murdered four of them, with one constantly coming back to life only because I wanted to.
"They are hilarious, perhaps they should join the circus in the town hall, what do you think?" Hawi asked and she laughed heartily at them, making them wonder what the hell had gotten into her.
What do you think?
