At first, she planned to participate in the Devil King Cup but quickly reconsidered. Background: Shi’shichou settled in T’oued, as if taking over from Chappie. Roosting in the sacred mountain of Kamiyama, he occasionally revealed himself to humans, who revered him. According to Warren, this was a type of propaganda by Kaoru and Jun’ko, meant to reassure the people by making them feel protected under the watchful eye of a Heavenly Beast. Shiny

Background: Shiny lived in the Holy Demon Kingdom as the Familiar of Natsu. Leading the flock at “Lala Farm,” he often found himself a nuisance to the shepherd dogs like Tarawo, who begged him to give them a break. Eventually, Shiny took to patrolling the farm under the guise of taking a stroll, bringing peace to Lala Farm. The crops along Shiny’s patrol route always thrived, leading the Grand Philosopher to suspect a connection, though time for research was scarce. Jeanne

Background: Jeanne dedicated herself to the restoration of Regalia and, alongside Hornel, restructured the ranks of the Magic Guardians. That name spread far and wide, and as she accumulated more achievements, Jeanne rose to become the Brigadier of the Magic Guardians. She spent her days watching over Hornel, the Commander, while also honing her reputation as a “Demon Instructor,” training new recruits with a merciless but effective hand. Background: Giorno appeared across the world, watching over it as its guardian. As a Hero who had left behind many legends in his days as a mortal, he remained as eccentric as ever. He frequently showed up before Lylia and Devil King Asley — perhaps his way of proving their friendship still mattered to him. Giorno had an uncanny knack for sensing problems before they arose, a trait that cemented his status as God. A friend of the Grand Philosopher.

Scott

Alias: Guild Master

Background: After the founding of the Holy Demon Kingdom, Scott moved there to establish a new Guild. Since then, he had served as both the branch leader of the Holy Demon Kingdom’s Guild and the overarching Guild Master. Background: Dallas took an interest in the Northern Alliance, wandering its lands in search of something new. Eventually, Barun discovered him and offered him a position as a special investigator, tasked with identifying and reporting on problems within the Northern Alliance. He was welcomed with open arms due to the Alliance’s manpower shortage at the time. Dallas admired Barun’s talents but couldn’t help but lament, “I didn’t even notice him approaching… What was that footwork?” Despite this, Dallas enjoyed his new role and looked forward to his rare days off, when he could share a drink with Ryan and Duncan. Tarawo

Background: After the war against Devil King Lucifer, Tarawo followed his master, Tifa, to the Holy Demon Kingdom. Tifa’s sharp tongue kept him constantly on edge, earning him the nickname “Enslaved King.” Tarawo liked the way it sounded, though he never quite grasped the implications of the name. He traveled far and wide, convincing Garm wolves to join him and advocating for their rights, which Leon, the Prime Minister, eventually recognized. Tarawo was then put in charge of leading them. Thanks to his efforts, the Garm wolves became beloved as shepherd dogs within the Holy Demon Kingdom. A friend of the Grand Philosopher.

Duncan

Alias: Guardian Angel of Beilanea

Status: Immortal

Background: After the war against Devil King Lucifer, Duncan continued as a staff member of the Adventurers’ Guild. Duncan’s flawless execution of every task inspired many would-be successors, sparking a wave of new recruits for the guild. Among these hopefuls were graduates from the Warrior University and Magic University, but the admission process proved so rigorous that few made the cut. One of those who passed the exam was Itsuki, though she had no intention of becoming a Guild staff member — something Duncan understood from the start. Duncan’s presence in Beilanea became so vital that people said everything ran smoothly because of the “Duncan Guardianship.” This resulted in Duncan’s derogatory nickname, “Meat Shield of Beilanea,” being replaced with the affectionate “Guardian Angel of Beilanea,” partly due to Duncan’s own insistence. Alias: Chappie Mask; Big Bird

Status: Immortal

Background: Chappie, revered as the sacred bird of the Holy Demon Kingdom, often accompanied the Devil King and Pochi. At other times, he led the Chappie Army in graceful flights, adding a touch of black and purple to numerous ceremonies. Nothing delighted him more than soaring through the sky with his family. (I like it quite a lot, too. Watching Chappie’s innocent joy as he taught Pochi how to fly and relish the skies was a sight to behold.) His favorite food was chicken. Recently, he mused about possibly becoming Bright’s Familiar, though he hadn’t followed through. He once pecked the first draft of Principles of a Philosopher full of holes, only to blame it on the other purple birds and escape. He returned five minutes later, having completely forgotten the incident. In many ways, he’s just like Pochi… Though Pochi also once remarked, “He’s just like you, Master!” A son of the Grand Philosopher.

Tzar

Affiliation: Holy Demon Kingdom

Alias: Agriculture Deity

Status: Immortal

Background: After the war against Devil King Lucifer, Tzar, along with his Master and apprentice Lala, dedicated himself to improving various crop species. They gained worldwide attention for introducing the “Lala Potato,” a new hybrid that could grow without water even in desolate lands. Responding to a request from Barun, the leading man of the Northern Alliance, Tzar provided numerous crops, earning him the title of “Agriculture Deity.” A friend of the Grand Philosopher.

Tifa

Background: After the war against Devil King Lucifer, Tifa personally appealed to Tangalán, the Headmaster of the Magic University, and secured a study abroad opportunity in the Holy Demon Kingdom. While studying there, she worked part-time at Gaston’s Magic Tool Specialist Store and received magical tutelage from the Devil King himself. Her ability to decipher complex and arcane magic formulas often left the Devil King astonished. After completing her studies, Tifa returned to the War Demon Empire and graduated from the Magic University without issue. She immediately received an offer to join the newly formed Six Archmages but turned it down. Tangalán’s desperate plea, even resorting to kneeling, led to her exceptional appointment as a special lecturer at the Magic University. The university soon saw the rise of factions — those loyal to Irene, those to Trace, and those to Tifa. Each year, the factions held friendly competitions. Curiously, Tifa’s faction attracted a notable number of students who practiced the dark arts, though any direct connection to her remained unclear. She was the Grand Philosopher’s second apprentice.

Diarmuid

Alias: World’s Best Cook

Background: Diarmuid eventually relocated from the War Demon Empire to the Holy Demon Kingdom, where he reopened Diarmuid Kitchen. His culinary skills captivated everyone who tasted his creations, winning him admirers across various nations. However, Diarmuid refused to open any branch locations, as his principle was to devote every moment outside the restaurant to his daughter — a stance that no one could sway. He once entered an apprenticeship under Haruhana, deeply impressed by her cooking in the Devil King Cup. Tangalán

Background: After mastering both the Eternal Fool and the Darklight Eikon, Tūs constantly caused trouble in the world, yet he seemed entirely unconcerned by the havoc he wreaked. He had clashed with the Grand Philosopher quite frequently, with the current score across ninety-seven matches standing at eighty victories on the Grand Philosopher’s part, with two draws. Still, Tūs never backed down. A friend of the Grand Philosopher.

Dragan

Trace

Alias: Specialist of Everything

Status: Immortal

Background: After the war against Devil King Lucifer, Trace returned to her position as an instructor at the Magic University in Beilanea, alongside Irene. Her exceptional situational judgment and adaptability remained sharp as ever, so much so that even Black Emperor Warren remarked that she was “the kind of talent the Holy Demon Kingdom needs.” However, Trace dismissed such compliments with a firm declaration: “My duty is as an instructor and Miss Irene’s aide.” Both Shamanesses of T’oued also sought to recruit her, but Trace never budged.
