The Kidnapped Bride

Chapter 219 - Dont Touch Me

Chapter 219 - Don't Touch Me

Not only Charles but the rest of the people were shocked to the next level. All of their minds could only think, is the man an idiot?

Doesn't he know that whatever that happened with her was all because of him? Or is he trying to ignore the fact?

No one can conclude anything at this point but only passed Javier the daggers, filled with a death sentence in them.

Yet, Javier totally acted aloof and once again repeated his words, "Once again telling you that, leave my room at this point. Except me, Doctor and Jennifer, I don't wish to see anyone in the front of my eyes."

"You! I'm not leaving my best friend with a monster like you! No!" Hannah can't help but scream. Unfortunately, she saw that he didn't show any care.

"Ellen, show Ms. Hannah the way taking her back to the cottage. To remind you, Miss. Hannah, she was there with me for the past few weeks.."

There was nothing to deny the fact that he was actually taking undue advantage of her under his protection.

But her heart wasn't ready to be her best friend all alone with this monster who simply made her cry.

Unwillingly, Ellen stepped ahead and suggested to lead her to follow him. A sigh escaped her lips when she lifted her eyes to stare at Javier, "I don't know what you are thinking.. but the number that if she takes any step to ruin her life, I will kill you myself."

Javier stood with his arm around his chest and unaffected expressions.

No words came out of his mouth when he shut them again. Sealed lips of his only added fury to her existing anger but she kept it under wrap.

Glancing at Jennifer for the last time, she left with Ellen. Knowingly she knew that Javier will not let Jennifer take any drastic step anymore.

At the same time, Austin looked too reluctant to leave Jennifer alone. His face clearly showed how much he craved to be by her side but Javier was resistant to his demand. "Mr. Brown, please make the way."

"Mr. Javier Johson, I personally don't feel that a taken man like you should actually stay near an unmarried girl.."

He pointed the excuse but the same brought a slight smirk on his lips. "Don't worry about that. As I said earlier, I have been living with her for long enough to take care. You are most welcome to focus on your work rather than any girl."

"She is beautiful. I have all the rights to court her and no one can deny that too. Being friends with her is something that you, too, can't refuse."

Sensing the stubbornness of Austin, only made Javier somewhat irritated. His broken and empty heart was filled with rage.

The fingers of his hands, which were behind his body, were already converted into a fist.

Keeping calm, he answered back, "Sure. But remember that she is also my enemy's fiance. Fiance of Lucas Smith and I guess you won't like to have a death wish. Leave, it's already late for you to stand in my room anymore.."

The words were said in the most intimate and dangerous voice leaving no choice of negations further.

When Javier noted that Austin didn't move, he signaled Ryan to make him leave at any cost.

Receiving his signal, Ryan did what was asked of him. Walking towards Austin, he kept his hand on his shoulder to whisper, "Better leave before he uses his official bodyguards on you. Don't infuriate him anymore.."

The threat was clear but Austin knew that this was Johnson's land. He is too vulnerable since he has few contacts here. Without any word, Austin left after a lot of resistance.

The people left were Charles and the doctor. Charles stayed until the Doctor folded the injury and gave her the medicines.

Though the silence of the place was quite disturbing, the doctor managed to carry out his work properly with no one interrupting him. "I have done. Please give this medicine to her if needed.."

"Alright." Charles took the prescription from the doctor and was ready to help Doctor in leaving. Before that, he kept his hands on Javier's stiffed body to say, "Relax. She will be fine.."

"Hopefully.." was what Javier said in return while Charles left the room along with the doctor, leaving the two of them alone.

While Jennifer slept on the bed in the deep slumber, Javier was awake and sat by her side to touch her face slightly. 'Baby girl, you will have to wake up soon..'

….

It was in the morning when Jennifer felt something heavy taking a toll on her.

A heavy thing to be put on her head, not making her even get up from her place. Keeping her eyes on the ceiling, she found it hard to know the place even. 'Where am I?'

She was too lost to think or proceed with anything. There was a lack of energy in her cells when she tried to lift her hand but a sudden pain rose, "Hah! Sh.."

Hearing her distressed voice, Javier who was resting his face on the bed beside her and his entire body on the ground, felt his sleep breaking in the middle.

Getting around on that instant, he looked at Jennifer to find her eyes open, "Jennifer! Are you fine!? What happened? Is your hand hurting? Let me check it once."

"Javier..'' She called him the name sweetly and weakly, but it was too low. Yet it was enough to be heard by him when he nodded, "Don't worry, I will give you the prescribed medicine and the pain will die soon."

"Javier…" she called his name once again which made him frown.

While his eyes were fixed at her hand when he tried to check out it more clearly and whether to see if there was a need to change her bandage, he subconsciously asked, "What?! Do you feel something else?"

"Get away from me this instant! Don't.. touch.. me.."
