The Founder of Qi Cultivation, Reincarnates?

Chapter 421 418- The Star Bound Continent (7)

"All of you, just circulate your Internal Qi and you'll be fine."

"Elder Hu, w-what is? What's happening?"

After checking the girl's hand to see that all the frigged energy had been driven out, Shi Lei Hu turned and addressed the crowd of disciples.

"The snow is not normal, it contains strong Yin Energy that can freeze your meridians if you're exposed to it for long periods of time without proper protection. The worst case scenario is your body and soul completely freezing."

Everyone hearing this felt a cold chill go down their spines and they didn't hesitate to continue circulating their Internal Qi.

Yang Su heard this and thought for a moment before activating his cultivation method. Since his Fire Qi was sealed he no longer had to keep his cultivation method activated at all times.

After he activated his cultivation method, he willed it and his Ice Divine Platform began trembling.

Yang Su then lifted his hand and allowed the slow to fall on his palm. He didn't try to protect himself and instead focused on circulating his cultivation method.

As the snowflakes fell on his palm, he felt the small amount of Ice Element Qi inside of them enter his palm before flowing through his meridians to enter his Ice Divine Platform in his dantian.

Yang Su's eyes flickered with a bit of shock. At the same time, a disciple cried out.

"T-This is insane! I tried absorbing these white specks and I've never felt my cultivation speed move so quickly. This is basically cultivation heaven!"

Everyone hearing this disciple was shocked.

"A-Are you mad? You actually tried absorbing those things after what elder Hu just said? You must not know what death is."

"Ha! But if I didn't I wouldn't have made this discovery, cultivation doesn't come with a bit of risk!"

"Do you cultivate a Yin base cultivation method?"

Shi Lei Hu asked that disciple.

The disciple nodded and then explained excitedly.

"Yes, elder Hu! I'm from the Yin Spirit Academy, we specialize in Yin Energy cultivation methods and techniques."

Shi Lei Hu nodded.

"For those who cultivate an Ice Element or Yin Energy base cultivation method, this place is truly a cultivation heaven for you guys. However, if you're not careful and cultivate carelessly then you might lose your life."

That disciple hearing those words gulped before saying.

"I'll-I'll be careful elder Hu."

"Hm, as long as you do it in moderation. As for those without an Ice Element or Yin Energy base cultivation method or techniques, don't even try to absorb the energy from these snowflakes. Don't even try cultivating in this place if you can avoid it, use the spirit stones you have to both cultivate and replenish your cultivation bases. If you run out of spirit stones try to obtain some on the Star Bound Continent. Do you understand!"

"Yes, elder Hu!"

A chorus of nervous disciples could be heard yelling.

"Ugh, these bastards."

A disciple off to the side suddenly cursed before retreating.

The disciples from the Yin Spirit Academy suddenly began cultivating and the concentration of frigid energy made it difficult for the other cultivators to circulate the Internal Qi properly.

A big space was made between this disciple-cultivating and those trying to protect themselves.

In the other direction, a disciple who was read in the face said.

"E-Elder Hu, are we supposed to circulate our Internal Qi for the entire time? Does the Star Bound Continent perhaps have some countermeasure against these things called snow?"

Shi Lei Hu shook his head and said.

"No, they don't from my knowledge. The sects have their formations that prevent their disciple from being affected by it, but outside of those institutions, the snow is everywhere. Even the mortals have to face this snow as it became the norm to live in this type of environment."

Hearing this that disciple's face went pale from fright, but only slightly as his face was still red like a tomato.

"B-But elder Hu, the Chosen Tournament will last for a month! I-I won't be able to continuously circulate my Internal Qi for that long and my spirit stones might run out trying to replenish my Qi. I might die at this rate!"

"Haha! Don't worry, it's not like the sects hadn't made any precautions. You'll see cultivators wearing clothes from a material called Fire Silk. Even mortals wear clothes made from them since it allows them to withstand the heat. When we reach the Star Bound Continent you all should consider purchasing some of these clothes."

The red-faced disciple and many others like him released sighs of relief upon hearing this.

Back to Yang Su and the others, Lihua felt the slight Water Qi mixed within the snowflakes and had a thought.

Like Yang Su, she decided to absorb the snowflakes. She did so for a prolonged moment until she suddenly winced.

Three of her fingers had the tip of them frozen.

"Lihua!"

Jun who was watching her not far away came rushing over.

"You're being way too reckless! The Water Qi and Yin energy are almost inseparable. You won't be able to absorb the Water Qi without absorbing the frigid Yin Qi."

Jun said as he grabbed Lihua's hand. As his eyes turned completely white a faint tattoo of a Kun Peng appeared on his forehead as he activated his Karma ability.

Jun looked at Lihua's fingers and saw the frigid Yin Qi mixing with her Internal Qi circulation and moving through her meridians. Before it could affect the meridians in her fingers Jun use his ability to restore the slight imbalance this energy created.

Wisps of frigid Yin Qi were forced out of Lihua's hands in no time. After making sure all of it was forced out Jun looked up at Lihua and asked.

"Is your hand alright?"

Lihua who had been silent as Jun helped remove the Yin Qi made an "en" sound while nodding her head. In truth, she could have done this herself, but after Jun suddenly grabbed her hand she was too embarrassed to say anything.

Jun seeing her reaction paused. But it was only for a moment; the memory of him kissing her flashed in his mind and he instantly let go of her hand.

Jun wasn't thinking at that time, he had only done it in the heat of the moment since he thought he would never see her again. But here she was in front of him, reacting so shyly to him holding her hand.

Jun's heart began to beat nervously.

"Lihua, I-"

"Alright, disciples get ready by circulating your Internal Qi, we're about to reach the Star Bound Continent!"

Jun was lifting his hand about to touch her cheek, but a shout from Shi Lei Hu caused him to do a quick maneuver to instead scratch the back of his neck.

"Bwahahahaha!!"

Mu Fan who was watching not too far away suddenly burst out into uproarious laughter.

"What's with the awkward tension between the two of you? Do you think you guys are in some romance novel or something? Why don't you two just kiss like before and then make some bab-"

Jun, whose face had become red, stomped over to strangle Mu Fan before he could finish his sentence.

At the same time, the ship finally reached the Star Bound Continent.

"Wow."

"I don't know whether to be sacred or amazed."

Immediately exclamations echoed out from the disciples on the ship.

What greeted them at the border of the continent was a huge wall of ice that was similar to their border. The Star Bound Continent suffered from Sea Beast invasions too, but probably not as frequently as they have.

Another thing the disciples saw was blinding white snow glistening in the morning sunlight, it was everywhere, covering every single of everything. It was strange, they couldn't even see the ground as it was completely covered!

"Hey, look at their clothes."

As the ship got closer to the Ice Border, the figures of people below and on the ice wall became clearer.

The clothes they were wearing were fur-like coats that completely covered their entire bodies. They even wore masks that covered up their faces.

"They're completely covered from thread to toe, what a funny way to dress."

"It may look funny, but for some reason, it looks really warm and comfortable."

"Yeah, while we're freezing despite being inside the ship's barrier, they look so relaxed out there."

"It must be the clothes elder Hu was talking about. I can't wait to try them on, because for fuck sake I don't think I can take any more of this cold weather."

"Me either, when are we leaving the ship to get some?"

As the disciples complain about the increasingly freezing temperature the ship was flagged down by a border guard. But after Shi Lei Hu left and came back after some time they were allowed to pass the Ice Wall.

Immediately after flying over the wall, the disciples were greeted by a frozen wasteland with ice-covered mountains. Blizzards the likes of which they've never seen or experienced before bombarding their ship. Even causing some of the runes to be frozen, thus plunging them into a frozen hell.

Many jaws were heard clacking together as disciples huddle up for warmth.

Elder Hu released his aura to shield the disciple, but the cold got worse the farther they flew.

If the disciples didn't know any better, they would have thought they took a wrong turn and come to some frozen inhabitant Continent.

They just couldn't believe anyone would want to live here!
