"Run. Why did you stop?."

A laugh filled with malice rang in Huan's ears. He had a pained expression as he looked ahead.

An expression of rage engulfed his mind, but the pain from the numerous injuries across his body immediately woke him up. He gritted his teeth, trying to stay conscious and remember the appearance of the evil bastard before him.

The man in question had a cruel grin across his face, and he licked his lips. His face had several scars that made him look hideous and was covered in blood.

It wasn't his blood but the woman he had eaten moments before. His next target was Huan.

The two had no hatred, and it all happened due to a simple argument. Grehich was a cannibal who loved to eat the flesh of his race members, and he was in the middle of his hunt when a woman alerted his prey.

Since Grehich's prey escaped, the woman became his food. Grehich was a Sacred Emperor while the woman was only a peak True God. The power difference between the two sides was wider than the distance between the sky and the ground. While he was in the middle of his dinner, the woman's husband returned.

Huan was only a peak Supreme God, so the power difference was still unmanageable. But since Grehich's mood wasn't good, he made Huan watch him eat, and then Huan became his target.

Grehich was playing with Huan as he would injure him from time to time while Huan would keep trying to escape. Huan knew it was for fun for the man, but he could do nothing since that at least gave him an infinitesimal chance of escape.

After running for a while, Huan had no energy left to run, and the pain attacking him had grown so intense that even keeping his eyes open was a difficult task.

Grehich sneered when he saw Huan was unable to run anymore. He didn't want the fun to end that early, but since he also wanted to feed on Huan, he decided to end it all.

Grehich appeared before Huan and opened his mouth wide open, trying to take a huge chunk of Huan's flesh.

"Evil bastard, I will return to have my vengeance!"

Huan yelled and closed his eyes, accepting the fate of death.

"Find your wife and bring her too. I liked her taste and want to savor that flavor once again."

Grehich sneered in response and ripped a large chunk of Huan's hand in a single bite.

His eyes showed an expression of enjoyment since the negative feelings Huan had further enhanced the taste.

Clap! Clap! Clap!

Grehich suddenly froze as the sound of clapping rang in his ears. He looked in the direction of the sound, and his ears shrank in horror.

Grehich wanted to escape, but suddenly, he slowly started to move toward the owner of the voice, and as he moved closer, his body started growing smaller. When he reached the man covered in darkness, he was the size of a fly.

The man crushed Grehich like a bug. Huan's eyelids had turned too heavy, and he was no longer able to keep them up. He wanted to see the benefactor who killed his enemy but could only see a blur.

The next moment, his eyes closed, and his life started dissipating at a rapid rate. The savior took one look at Huan and then disappeared, having no reaction to what Huan was going through.

The man only came here to end the menace of Grehich as per the order of his father, a Sacred Creator level being. He wanted to help Huan but couldn't see any hope of survival, so he didn't waste his efforts.

Huan was slowly dying with only a glimmer of life left in his body. Suddenly, a strange phenomenon played out.

The sky turned dark, and a terrible pressure started attacking the ground. An earthquake seemed to have formed in the range of three hundred thousand miles, and the ground was slowly disintegrating due to high intensity.

In less than the blink of an eye, that area had been filled with numerous cracked stones, and something was happening around Huan.

Huan seemed to have become the source of the change as the darkness in the sky was slowly seeping into his body, and at a rapid rate, the dispersed life force was returning.

In the core area of a planet, a man in meditation opened his eyes. His eyes contained all the laws in existence, as he was none other than a Sacred Creator level cultivator and the master of the planet.

The eyes, which seemed to have forgotten how to change expression, suddenly turned wide open in shock. Peering through the cloud of sky and darkness, his eyes fell on a planet three billion light years away.

The shock further deepened as he saw the phenomenon playing around Huan.

"Bring that boy to me!"

The man closed his eyes, but before that, he gave out an order to his three sons, showing them the scene playing around Huan and his features.

When the second son saw the image, he couldn't help but become surprised since he had just seen the man dying. But he still followed his father's order and rushed.

Three billion light years wasn't a very large distance for a Sacred Monarch, so he covered that distance in three seconds, but when he reached the border of the planet, a shocked expression appeared on his face.

An invisible barrier seemed to have formed around the planet, and it was stopping everyone from entering or exiting. The man's face didn't look good since he could see tens of millions of people dying due to the strange phenomenon.

The planet had a population of several trillion and was now on the verge of complete disappearance due to the sudden earthquake. After their deaths, their souls would get devoured by the darkness in the sky, and it would feed back into Huan's body.

Huan was only a peak Supreme God, but his life level was growing at a rapid rate and soon touched the mark of Sacred King. It was a greater level of life evolution compared to other levels since getting the title of Sacred in the cultivation level didn't come easy.
