Just as they were cuddling with each other, Le Fang Ling noticed the system tab that had automatically appeared on the air. It looked as usual but for some reason, she could see there were many changes to this whole thing.

Just then she remembered the words she heard the night before, just as she had lost her consciousness.

The weird noise and the transformation of Nagina…

It all fell in place like two pieces of a puzzle.

'Did the system get upgraded to some new tier or something?' she wondered as she closely observed the system tab.

"Right," she said as she pulled away from the hug and made Nagina face the place where the current tab was floating.

"Tell me more about this," she added with a solemn look on her face. She had no idea what it could be and from how her current days have been, in other words lucky, she was worried about having her luck run out.

"Oh!" Nagina clasped her hand in a gesture of surprise when she realized what her host was asking.

"As you can see, I have evolved," Nagina pointed to herself and showed her new body.

"But it's not only physical, I have also upgraded to a higher level, something like tier 2," she said with a victorious and smug smile on her face. She peeked at Le Fang ling as if waiting for her to praise her or say something, maybe even pat her head.

Le Fang Ling could easily see what she her wish in her big round puppy eyes. She even had an illusion of talking to a small cat that was begging with its eye to be petted.

"Cough," she cleared her throat as she moved away from her attention from the girl. She wanted to pat her bed but she knew things were not going to end there.

"Oh, so is there any benefit in this upgrade?" she tried to focus on the main agenda of the day and not on some snu snu leading acts even though she knew she still had energy for a few other rounds.

"Hmm.." Nagina pursed her lips in a pout before finally letting out her breath with a sigh.

"Yes," she said as she made the system tab float and appear right in between her and Le Fang Ling.

"Remember when I said that the more you develop and evolve, the same will go for me, as a system." She reminded her of the time they had met. Nagina had clearly said that she was an upgrading type of system. Her progress was greatly affected by the development and leveling up of the host.

"Yes I do." Le fang ling nodded her head in response to her question.

"Heh," Nagina curled up her lips in a smile as she decided to unveil the secret update of hers.

After a few minutes…

Le Fang Ling still could not believe whatever the new optimization had brought for her.

"Daily Mission!" Nagina once again repeated for the nth time about the new update.

Le fang Ling closed her eyes as she started to think about the daily mission update.

"So, what does it do?" she asked to know more about the daily mission thing that was dumped on her out of nowhere. If there were daily missions, then that will only mean more work for her. She had no idea if this could be good or bad. She hoped that whatever it was, it helped her grow up.

"Like the name suggests, there will be the daily mission for you that will be assigned to you after analyzing the situation around you that can affect you," Nagina said as she tapped on the screen with her index finger.

She had tapped on a gift icon on the tab that immediately opened and redirected them to a new page where some words were written. Those were the so called daily mission.

"Daily mission refreshes and updates regularly and are divided as this," Nagina said while pointing at the top most sentence on the screen.

"See this, your daily mission can have 3 separations," she said with a smile,

"There is easy, medium and hard daily mission depending on the severity of the mission." Nagina pointed at the three missions on the tab.

"As long as you fulfill any one of them, you can claim the mission points which can be used for many many purposes," Nagina had a meaningful smile on her face as she continued speaking.

"Okay," Le Fang Ling nodded her head in understanding. That was not different from what she had thought and her head as had the same ground point.

"Then what if I do not complete any mission?" Le Fang ling asked with a solemn look on her face if she could get a reward point for doing a missing, she knew she was going to be penalized for something that she was gonna not love.

"What are the catches here? Name them," Le fang Ling was curious about this new upgrade. She knew there was nothing for free in the world.

"Oh, there is nothing much," Nagina tilted get head sideways as she started at Le Fang Ling with a smile on her face. That smile was goofy but cute at the same time.

"The punishment might differ according to the severity of the offense," Nagina informed her.

"Oh, so I will get punishment too huh," Le Fang Ling mumbled to her lightly when she thought about what what punishment there will be.

 "I will see to it that you are indeed doing the daily mission," Nagina said in a solemn tone.

"So, you do not have to worry about this." She said as she went near Le Fang Lin and raised her hand.

Curious about her sudden advance, Le Fang ling raised her head to look at the little devil.

A small palm appeared on the top of her head out of nowhere. Nagina was patting her head with much care and affection. She always cheered up when she was alpha mail potted. She thought that might be an asset for Le Fang ling as well.

Nagina rubbed her hair softly, as of it was a delicate treasure.

And indeed it was. Le Fang ling widened her eyes in shock when she felt slightly rustling her hair on the top of her scalp.

"Indeed," she bowed down her head as she allowed herself to be patted by the little girl.

"So, what are there in the daily mission gift today?" Le Fang ling proceeded to read the notification on the tab.

Normally, she would have taken time to read the whole thing herself but she was curious now.

"Sure," Nagina nodded her head, accepting her request.

"Thank you sweetie," Le Fang Ling chuckled as they continued to snuggle with each other.

"But it will be better if you read it yourself, hehe..." Nagina mentioned to Le Fang ling. 

And her host was more than happy to comply.

"You can see everything for yourself now," Nagina began to talk as she made the system be within her reach.

"Alight, lets do this," Le Fang ling put on a excited and scared faces.

She looked once at tab and her muscles and eyes slightly twitched when she saw how absurd this whole thing is, well, she had no choice but to look at it.

After all, it was all meant for her.

So, holding Nagina in a hug, she started to read what was written there, her eyes widening in surprise with each moment.

Gulp

With a great difficulty, she managed to open the dry throat of hers that seemed like path to hell.

"Mhmm, this seems pretty good." Le fang Ling thought about the thing she had shown and spoken, feeling a little guilty.

"SO, if I complete all three of them, will my point be added to it?" she asked her to bother to try them on.

"Yes," Nagina nodded her head with a smile,

Le Fang Ling nodded her head at what she said while being completely focused on something else.

The medium and hard level already sounded too much problem. She was in no position to be able to understand what this whole thing was about.

"I think I can pretty much do the easy one but as for the last one…" her voice trailed off as she thought about how difficult this whole thing was. 

"It's fine," Nagina said with a smile,

"You will get used to it!

"Indeed, I guess," Le Fang Ling said as she stood up from her bed. She had been inside the bed too much.

Her hand travelled to her neck to feel the locket jade she was wearing. She still had no idea when she was going to be summoned by the person, this Maser Yi Feng.

"If only I could have a conversation with him," she sighed as she looked at her jade locket, feeling a little awkward and anxious.

As soon as she was done speaking, she felt the jade locket getting warmer and brighter without her doing anything.
