The Dungeon Conquerors: Journey to the Peak

After getting rid of the ape strange beast and freeing all the trapped souls, Rein and his group returned to the village. The village people had seen the fog appearing again and then suddenly disappearing which had never happened. So they were extremely excited.

After Rein explained to all the villagers that the being responsible for all the trouble of the village was a rank 3 strange beast, a chill ran down all their spine. But then they again relaxed after Rein told them that the strange beast was already killed.

In order to celebrate this occasion, they decided to hold a grand festival in the village. Rein also thought that it was not a bad idea to relax a bit as they were out in this adventure to actually relax their mind a little bit. So they all decided to stay in the village for the night.

That night was very fun for everyone. The village chief opened the special warehouse of the village and brought out the best supplies. A huge amount of food was cooked and Rein was satisfied with the taste. The same was the case for the other two little ladies. All in all, for all three of them, this was a very enjoyable night.

The very next morning, they left the village and started going toward the city of Xaliza. There they had quite a few missions to complete and Rein also needed to get started with his investigation.

After reaching the city, they immediately booked a room in one of the luxurious inn meant for the nobles. Actually for children of their age, getting a room in an inn was quite hard. But all three of them looked older than their actual age. With the adult like way all of them spoke, everyone thought that they were over 16 years old but had a childish face. The age to become an adult in this nation was 16 so they were allowed to book an inn room without any suspicions.

After getting a room, Rein held a meeting to plan their next steps in the city. They had three missions to complete in the city. So Rein was thinking that they could first be done with all the missions and then they could start with their investigation of Jakery.

But Luna proposed something different. For one of the mission, she needed to search the grand library of the city for a particular book that the academy wanted. This was the mission that she had chosen knowing that it would be helpful for Rein.

With this mission, Luna would be given the permission have a free reign in the library during the mission duration. Actually if she wanted, she could get that privilege anytime with her status as a princess. But still it was better not to use her royal privilegea all the time, so finding this mission was a good stroke of luck for her.

While searching the library for that specific book, she was also going to search for any books that might be related to Jakery or the history of the city. And Luna alone wanted to focus on this job. So in the meantime, Rein and Lopas could investigate the other parts of the city or could focus on a different mission.

Rein had absolutely no reason to not like this plan and agreed. This was a very efficient way to fulfill their objective. So while Luna would be busy in the library, he and Lopas decided to focus on the remaining two missions while trying to find any clues about Jakery.

Rein decided a focus on a mission to destroy a criminal gang hiding in the city. As the city of Xaliza was quite big, it had a large underworld network. So for someone as powerful as Rein, this was an easy mission. And while investigating the gangs, Rein would also be searching for any information related to Jakery.
