Temporal Pearls

Chapter 282: Red Corruption

Now there was water covering his surroundings as his shield.

Boom!

The water splashed out but then streamed around and came back to him.

Boom!

Boom! …

The water cover swayed and tumbled about to explode and break the tension but the water was ever moving, ever shifting, dragging the impact force around.

It evaporated but the mist returned and created a mist domain giving out an indescribable feeling.

The dragons stared at the dome of water in awe.

It held for a while before it burst.

~Don't be tricked~

Jet dragon shouted.

But it was too late, made from the water itself, strings sprang and grabbed many of the dragons and dragged them back.

~With the will of our combine breath we can disrupt his ability~

The dragon that controlled the dragon breaths shouted.

The water has been affected by the taints of the 34 dragon's breath. This made it possible for them to resist the red stream influence and even take control of it.

With that in mind battle of control began as the captured dragons broke away time and time again from the water strings that were trying to pull them inside.

Green Dragon and Giant dragon all flew back in and a new battle began.

Seth inside the dome watched in awe at what he could do.

"When did I become this powerful?"

He can still recall when he was barely surviving the Gawee Pressure. He was always running away from any dragon he detected. Strangely, now he was thrashing them with relative ease.

He glanced at his Exertion Points and sighed. He has about 45,000 points remaining. It's enough for him to win.

"I'm not after winning, it's about battle experience and skills mastery. With Red Stream Dome my other skills can be applied with ease. The whip, the strings and even the Safe House if I want to and they will be made of the red stream."

Seth was ever learning about the dragons, he can see the effect of the dragon breaths on the stream. It was tainted with their aura. That was why they were breaking away from it engagement.

He smirked as he held his staff and activated a skill he hasn't used since it awakened in the Staff.

Channeling Node!

It allowed Seth to send his energy, aura and other things under his control.

He grinned and made the Staff channeled aura to fuel the stream, immediately, changes happened.

Seth saw dragon aura in the stream persisting and fighting.

He then channeled his Pure White Stone Will.

Magnificent changes appeared in the Red Stream, it became pale white before it became sparkling.

All dragon's aura and wills within the red stream were destroyed and the next moment the three dragons were dragged in.

Seth with little effort took control of them.

He stopped the channeling and the stream went back to normal.

Seth breathed deeply fatigued as he looked around. The stream was magnificent, he was in euphoria when he thought more about it.

"What are the other things I can channel?"

He was curious. Very curious but he began to hesitate testing due to raging dragons outside.

Many more have joined and they seem to be getting stronger the more angry they are.

But he was safe in his dome, none of the dragons could come in.

Seth smirked and thought what if he made the steam as hard as stone. Will it become strong ice or will it just transmutate to stone.

Red Diamond Absolution floated out and he looked at the beautiful flat well carved indestructible diamond.

Will it be possible to channel the hardness of this diamond and what will be the effects?

Seth grinned, he was dying to try it.

He gripped the Diamond and focused, trying to channel but then his face suddenly frowned as an image appeared in his mind.

Seth's eyes dilated and he saw his fingernails were red. His frown deepened as more memories came in.

"What in God's name?" In fear, Seth exclaimed, "I forgot about this!"

Seth has just recalled before this fight, in his Glass Dome, looking at his body but what he recalled was his body decorated with red stripes, his irises have a circle of red around it.

During that time his mind refused to show the red part.

Now, as he observed his shifting armour, there were red veins pulsing with light and immediately he knew what they were; Corals.

In some places they already made solid shells as shields.

He grasped that they prevented him from feeling heat from the dragons and also enhanced his armour strength.

The problem was the corals weren't under his control.

His hair was red now as well as his eyelashes and eyebrows. He still retained his smooth and kind look but there was wildness in them.

Seth had known that using Red Manipulation excessively made him blind to red.

He can recall how he played with the blood of humans and dragons with fervour and fanatics.

It became scary and surreal to him.

Seth gaze landed on the Red Signature Book. It gave off an eerie pale red aura. He now noticed that apart from 'Beholder World' the rest of the skills were partially active.

Seth summoned Crystal Clear Stone and attached it to the Red Diamond and held them. That caused the red liquid from his eyes and ears to sip out.

His thoughts began to resume to normal and he remembered everything he had done.

"Fuck. Skills creations!" Seth cursed.

During that time, he has come across many dangerous items and they have tainted him but the skills themselves and Arf were the force behind his derangement.

"I'm going mad without knowing!" He concluded, "This book shouldn't be use lightly"

Seth abandoned his plan of gaining battle experience and exploded the water, now for real.

In the chaos he ran away. Using Velocity and Momentum Aspecto with no reservations.

Along the way, he checked his Pure White Stone Will and found tendrils of red from his skin sneaking in but the Will was resisting it and directing it into the black spot at the center.

"Thank you!"

Seth dreaded the situation if he had not evolved his Will, what would have happened to him.

He has already closed the book, deactivated all the skills and also stored it away. He knew the direction of the Dragon Burtali Stele and he was going there.

Upon touching it he will destroy the dragon agro. Then he will work on purifying himself.

However, the more steps he took the more he felt his heat ache.

"God damn Ego!" he cursed, his anger flaring as the Ego part of the Lord was making him feel pain.

It felt as if he was running from the dragons for fear.

"I'm afraid of me. I'm afraid of myself. I don't want to lose control!"

Seth tried to convince his Ego that it wasn't the dragons he was afraid of but himself. Somehow, that aided in damping somehow.

The dragons noticed his absence and they tried to track him.

Seth was moving very fast and his cloak was Green now which allowed him to blend with green forest. He escaped the dragon's senses.

Seth landed on a tree and jumped to another, his left hand held the Red Diamond Absolution with Crystal Clear Stone that sat on it.

His right hand held his staff, making sure he tapped the landed position to keep his running faster.

***

"The sinner is too dangerous. He can control the sacred ones and he almost destroys a dragon's legacy." A man narrated to an older blind man.

Another man, the leader that Seth broke his Will, added, "He is a Will Breaker!"

The older man sighed and said, "I see him. He is weak but extremely strong. But it doesn't matter. Sacred Wood Burtali Tribe will not be insulted"

He grabbed something and pushed it to the new guy. They all stared in shock before they became resolute for what to come.

***

Seth's moving body suddenly was swallowed by space and he appeared somewhere.

[Welcome to Cloud Dragon King Court]

Seth found his body ached due to the forced teleportation.

Distance from him were one hundred tribesmen, old and gaunt. They were blind and resolute to face death.

Before them was a strange artifact the size of fist but its aura was very heavy like an Adult dragon.

The artifact rippled in space and suddenly appeared before the Sinner.

Seth had survived dreadful encounters and he immediately recognised another dreadful encounter.

The artifact was a sculpture of a dragon with four heads. One was of sheep, then a goat, then a lion and lastly a dragon.

The appearance of the item made Seth know he was done, he felt no hope… however, Red Signature Book flashed out and flipped its pages to Pharaoh's Whip skill.

Pale hands with many joints came out and gripped the dangerous artifact and pulled it back into the book.

The dreaded situation was reduced by only small merging and Seth wasn't able to sigh in relief. There was something else.

As if he was ordered to look up, he saw a massive serpentine dragon. It was unimaginably long, its body rose from the lower ground and reached the clouds and then another segment of its body could be seen coming out and touching the lower ground far away.

Its eyes that were a few meters above Seth were as large as Root Village.

Like when he saw Garden Of Eden, he was able to grasp the serpentine dragon in its complete size and he felt a weight on his chest and mind increased.

Seth was damned!
