Seth came back from his daydreaming as he heard a dragon roar. The three humans and the monsters attacking all froze in place for good five seconds before Dave managed to move; he hit his brass metal and that created a milky shield around them.

That was when Seth and Redop recovered.

"Who the fuck woke that beast!" Dave asked

A dignified voice that threatened to make Seth kneel was heard in the tunnel they were in.

Redop was already kneeling, while Dave was sweating, Seth on the other was in trance.

Seth stood there panting, the suffocation was jarring, however, his womb was the most overjoyed.

That was when he saw over ten questions regarding the formation and type of fetus he wanted to develop. They ranged from Gender, Magic or Physical, Speed or Strength, Stamina or Short burst of power, Brute or Cognitive etc and even the colour of the skin and fur, and even the set of emotions it should have. Checking Seth realized that Independent loyal and dependent loyal are alike but just that independent loyal beasts can decide to leave their master, but can always find him if he called and fight for him if needed.

While dependent loyal will stick to their master no matter what and even if they leave him, it was under his order. However, they can use the magic of their master and they can't be killed around him.

Independent free Hunter has acknowledged the master but neither the master nor the beast stay together or require anything from each other. They are more like a beast released into the world to do what they want.

Dependent-free hunters are like guardians of territory, they just know they can't leave a certain location but also hunt anything that came within that territory. Apart from that, the master won't command them to do anything beyond that without them agreeing.

"That was the plan. The cult was smart to build their layer close to the Red Dragon's lair. That way whenever someone comes without an invitation, they will disturb the peaceful nature of the place and that will attract the dragon's ire."

"Suck to be us. By the way, will Dave be alright!" Seth asked

"He will. Chief said the kid has a resurrection spell. Even if he died just like last time, he will just revive somewhere in the town!"

"Don't you find it bizarre? The attack suddenly happened without expecting it. It's as if they are desperate" Seth asked.

Seth remembered what that Red Eye Monster woman said to him. That the cult isn't happy about the chief double success. She was the first success and Seth was the second.

"But the chief…!" Seth found a red hand wrapping around his mouth and he heard sheee, it was the chief's red woman.

"The chief?" Redop asked.

"Why did the chief not expect something if I'm some kind of success? And I don't think I'm that very important or perhaps my ability wasn't that good as it might be just beginner's luck!"

Seth changed what he was going to say.

"Who said the chief isn't expecting this? The man is the strongest warrior this Valley has ever seen. He alone suppressed the former ruling faction, beat back the invaders from below and also was expected to be the one that trapped the mighty red dragon in the valley.

The only reason he wasn't defeating the cult was that he was afraid that they would free the dragon and that big bad mons… I mean noble life form will stop at nothing to kill him!"

Suddenly a massive wolf appeared before them, he had red dragon scales and a red horn on its forehead. And also there was a red glow from its throat accompanied by smoke. It can breathe fire.

"These damn people are crazy. They found the blood of the dragon and managed to make some dragon hybrid or something!" Redop complained and then a battle commenced.

It was brutal, to say the least, however, Seth has the easier part because his shifting armour was very good at stopping physical attacks. Ironically, he became the tank while Redop slash with his red energy.

Redop also sometimes binds the wolf using red shadow and Seth attacked with the elevated strike. After 3 minutes of intense battle, the wolf fell down dead.
