Chapter 134: XXIII: Old Elijah's Farewell (Book Six End)

Observing the prime beasts flying away the fastest they could. Ripples of an unknown power flashed across his eyes, which a at the same time showed a hint of surprise.

"These prime beasts are no threat to me but they couldn't have been here without reason... Wow, I'm not familiar with the energy flowing in this body, let me see what I can do." This unknown power rushed out at full strength before converging at the center of his back. Then he closed his eyes for a second as if he was analyzing this body he was using.

The power at this back expanded into two enormous wings. Each of them dark as the space with numerous bright points, like stars. The entire structure of the wings looked like an small-scale universe with billions of stars revolving inside a galaxy and even more galaxies coexisting in his wings. The same thing was happening in his eyes, transforming into two black holes that lit with the light of a thousand stars.

At this time Shadow would know that this should be the complete form of what he used last time when awakening Cassie. This was the Trinity Incarnation.

"Cass, await me here." Old Elijah flapped his wings and dissolved in a ray of golden light that pierced the space as he burst towards the running beasts.

"Dukhoon!" With a powerful voice reverberating far away, all the beasts seemed to have lost their will and soul as they suddenly stopped all movements.

"After so many years passing before I got to reunite with my daughter and now I have to waste my time with this little toys... I will make sure you will feel my wrath." Holding Chloe's Hearth, the green flames burst forth devouring some of the closer beasts.

"This flame is good but I want to see more of this pretty thing." Under his hand, the divine hammer started to grow until it reached around five thousand meters. At this point he shot the hammer like a rocket towards the flying beasts who were smashed before even seeing it coming and old Elijah only noticed he had used to much power when the hammer continued flying as it broke an entire planet two times bigger than earth in half.

Cronus who was watching all of this, was shivering with a pale face and widened eyes. He truly regretted meeting this monster.

"Shit! I destroyed another planet. I hope the energy left from the divinity fragment can restore everything." Scratching his head, Elijah flew back to where Cassie and Cronus were. The first thing he did was jump over to Cassie, giving her a tight hug as he cried.

"Ahh! Cass, it is so good to see you again. You have really changed since your last life. As for me, I am only a remnant of who I once was. Just a small piece."Seeing her father crying before her, there was nothing she could say, only extending her hand and hugging him back. After a few minutes, Elijah left his daughter hug and recovered his emotionless look.

"Part of the reason I am here is because the divinity fragment is sustaining my existence. When the energy is spent, I will be gone. So you need to listen carefully to what I'll say... Using the all the energy left in the fragment, I will revert time to before all of this started..." Extending his hand, Elijah handed a glass knife to Cassie. "Take this knife, it holds all what is left of my essence and when the time is reverted, you need to find Cronus and kill his avatar. Then you must enter the vortex and make sure my younger self stabs Prime King with this knife. If you did it, then the control that thing has over him will be finished once for all and save Yakhan. Take care of myself when I'm gone. Ah, I don't like goodbyes so I won't say it, but there is something you must not forget. No matter what happens, don't forget the feelings that you have even if your heart is broken because is better to have an broken heart than letting yourself have no heart at all. Believe me, I experienced it myself."

Saying his last words, Elijah extended his stellar wings once again and slowly flew to the point where the black vortex vanished.

Behind him, an illusory image of an old man and a silver crown above his head.

One, two, three... six million shining particles gathered into a pocket watch floating in front of him.

"Let's finish this..."Taking hold of the pocket watch, the strange device which seemed to be something ancient... something new and something that shouldn't never exist.

Before he finished what he was supposed to do, he turned his gaze to deep space before a silver light clouded his eyes as he seemed to be observing someone. Raising the corner of his mouth, he softly said, "It is good to see you alive."

Time Reversal!

Shirrrrlll

Numerous fragment and stones that were floating in space all gathered at a single point, forming a spherical structure.

Cassie eyes were red as countless tears fell from her eyes. She couldn't stand the pain of seeing the same thing once again. With Peuh forming once again before her eyes, everything around her started reverting more and more.

Cronus had vanished and then she started feel a strange force invading her trying to erase her memories, she tried to resist but she knew it was inevitable.

Inside her heart, she decide that she at least wanted to have a last look at her dad but when she turned head, his figure already vanished.

Clinging to the crystal knife she received from her father. She knew it was her time to vanish.

Flash! The moment her figure dissolved into nothing, the transparent crystal knife had lit up.
