Supreme Couple In Apocalypse: Undead King & Demonic Queen

The atmosphere was crackling with usual lightning and dark clouds high up above.

Lilith and others were surrounded by Valen, Mohak, and one more Empyrean-order powerhouse…which was a beast.

It was a hound, to be exact, but with otherworldly ice-blue fur crackling with red and indigo lightning.

Maleina had just finished uttering her sentence when a thundering and tearing lightning crackle, along with a howl, rumbled in the sky.

That howl came from the two-meter-tall and three-meter-long beast that floated to Valen's right.

Valen turned the hound and bowed on one knee.

Lilith's eyes narrowed, her aura rising.

'From what I know of Valen, he wouldn't risk his all for a measly daughter,' Lilith said to others spiritually.

'But they are here, and he is kneeling before that hound, the most dangerous one of the Empyrean-order out of the three.'

Erix, Rin, and Lily were surprised upon hearing that.

"Divine Ginza Hound," Valen solemnly spoke with his head down, "I've failed to keep her safe for you."

'What the hell is he talking about?' Erix was dumbfounded.

'Did he want to give her daughter to a magic dog?' Rin felt speechless.

'As long as he had some benefit or a fear of his life as stack for it, he would do it,' Lilith dryly chuckled, 'No wonder he is here with this group.'

'Also, we'll be separating for a while,' Lilith added, her voice containing a ting of unwillingness and anger deep within.

'Kill them!'

That howl had a spiritual power in it such that everyone managed to interpret that howl as filled with killing intent.

In an instant, three bright lights flashed toward Erix and others while Lilith also vanished.

A powerful flux of energies and power clashed briefly, chaotically altering the atmosphere, but none below Empyrean-order in the area were affected.

Erix and others quickly turned their heads to the north, in the direction of Core Domain, as they saw one faint beam of light disappearing into the horizon, followed by three more lights.

"I am annoyed," Erix narrowed his eyes as he looked at the ten peaks Royal-order powerhouses.

"Me too," Rin's eyes turned distant, and her pupils shrank.

All of them were at peak or near the peak of Royal-order, which means they were near level 299 and had at least one or two affinities at the 4th realm, so this battle wasn't going to be easy…alas.

'I'll manage to escape and meet you at the end of Saraz Stream. You know where to go.'

Rin's and Erix's expressions changed upon hearing Lily, but they were late.

*Swoosh!*

Lily suddenly burst out with a thick mist that covered a big area around them, weakening everyone's senses and completely disabling the presence of everyone within the fog.

But Lily escaped, and her aura that exploded attracted the Royal-order powerhouses as they went after her.

'Lily, stop!'

'Erix,' Rin turned to Erix, her eyes saying it all.

Erix's eyes flashed before they vanished, appearing ten kilometers away at once in the same direction where Lily was flying and getting chased.

In just a second, Rin and Erix sensed Lily's aura and saw her. Ten kilometers were crossed in a matter of two seconds.

'Lily, we'll kill them, and they won't even know how they died! Get them to the beginning of Saraz Stream,' Erix ferociously said before he and Rin teleported again, crossing ten kilometers at once.

And then once again before stopping.

Below was a lush green plain filled with monsters, but they were ten kilometers high up.

Without wasting a single second, Rin and Erix executed their combat arts!

Two chaotic orbs with an exotic metallic coating that constantly changed along with chaos whirling inside appeared beside Erix while his fists were covered in gauntlets.

The potent Nihilir Essence powered his gauntlets while his body adorned a metallic robe matching his outfit.

On the other hand, Rin wielded a Katana and a giant battle fan while six chaotic chronace blades conjured and floated around her.

Just as they were finished with the preparation, they chugged Mana potions to recover their Mana, and the guests arrived.

Erix's Space Map picked up their auras first as he said, "We'll only attack one Royal-order hunter at a time to prevent others from attacking us."

"Let's hunt them one by one," Rin said, her eyes glinting with golden-red flicker.

Rin and Erix floated a hundred meters apart.

Lily saw them and sped up, flying between both of them while she heard Erix's voice in her head, 'Circle them around after reaching the Saraz Stream so we can catch up quickly and hunt them.'

Lily didn't have time to respond as she continued at her max speed while the Royal-order hunters followed.

Three of them even released futile long-range arrow-shaped skills that Lily dodged.

They also saw Rin and Erix in their combat forms, which caused their expression to become apprehensive.

'If they attack someone, then try to get hit by their attacks, or else those monsters will take us out one by one!'

'They can't be as powerful as us, chief. No way!'

The Royal-order hunters didn't slow their speed as they continued with their senses cautious and onto Rin and Erix.

'Last one,' Erix said.

'Got it,' Rin replied.

All of this was a game of a second.

Nine powerhouses crossed between them while Erix was already in a punching form and released his fist into a wormhole that connected to another one that opened right before the 10th Royal-order powerhouse.

The level 299 Royal-order powerhouse was smacked away while feeling horrified of the potent power eating away at his defense and consuming 50% of his Prana Kavach at once!

But before he barely used his skill, Rin arrived before him, sweeping her giant battle fan that the Raibor Power slime took the form of and then swung her katana that quickly imbued with all six of her chaotic chroance blades!

The thousands of blades she formed with her Battle Fan's wind power quickly infused her offensive Dissolution-Flow into chaos form by her chaos concept, increasing energy output by 50%!

Chaotic Millennial Blade Vortex!

The time squeezed to an extreme inside the vortex that trapped the Royal-order hunter, who felt even his consciousness becoming chaotic as terrifyingly quick and sharp blade-shaped particles bearing powers of wind and lightning struck his defenses and even reached him, forcing out his desperation.

But before he could proceed to counter-attack while suffering under Rin's Skillcraft and resisting it, he was greeted by Deathly Fist.

Erix had thrown both of his fists this time, going all out as two whirling fists manifested with a sharp crackling sound and chaotic whirls flowing with potent dark purple flame and chaotic metal shards mixed in.

His whirling punches rotated around each other and crashed into one more defense created in the Royal-order hunter's desperate attempt that was trapped and shredded by Rin's Skillcraft.

But it was Erix's current strongest form of Resonant Turbulent Punch—> Resonant Chaotic Twin Fists.

Nihilir's destructive state, Dismantle, was in full form in Skillcraft, and it was influenced by his chaos concept, boosting the energy output by 50%, along with other boosts that boosted the overall power of his finely and potently created Skillcraft!

The willpower of Erix and Rin, along with their supremely fine spiritual power imbued in their attacks, nailed the kill as the Royal-order powerhouse couldn't outdo their combined offense despite having overall higher parameters than them.

It was a matter of pure qualitative difference in every area.
