Strongest Spirit Beast Master Family

Chapter 241 Third Grade Alchemist

After pondering for a moment, Blaze Regret rotated his palm, and the figure of the Rock horn Dragon Rhinoceros appeared in the clearing. Without any hesitation, it charged into the deep mountains, and in an instant, the wild roars of beasts echoed continuously.

Blaze Regret flicked Red's little head, and the latter, after scratching its head with a grimace, followed the Rock horn Dragon Rhinoceros's lead. The strongest spirit beasts in Bloodstone Mountain were only at the seventh tier Imperial grade, making it an ideal place for them to enhance their strength.

As his hand brushed over the void realms stone, a pill cauldron appeared before Blaze Regret. He was currently situated at the edge of Bloodstone Mountain, where even imperial grade spirit beasts were rare, allowing him to focus on refining his alchemy skills without worry.

The wind blew, and yellow leaves fell.

In the blink of an eye, several days passed swiftly.

Under the ancient tree, Blaze Regret sat with his eyes tightly closed, resembling a meditative monk. Withered leaves covered his head and shoulders, while his black robe had accumulated a layer of dust from sitting for days, giving him a rather unkempt appearance.n/ô/vel/b//jn dot c//om

As for the pill cauldron, he had long since stored it back in the void realms stone. His understanding of alchemy had reached the limit of a second tier alchemist, and further refining pills would no longer benefit his alchemical skills. He could only rely on his own insights.

"Jack Fang, that person seems so strange."

Two figures passed through the forest, but upon seeing Blaze Regret sitting motionless, the female among them blinked her long eyelashes in surprise.

"Some people without abilities can't find proper training grounds, so they have to resort to this. Even the lowest servants in my Jack family have better training environments than he does," said the youth named Jack Fang, curling his lips with disdain and an obvious sense of superiority in his tone.

"He looks quite handsome, but unfortunately, his strength is too weak. He probably doesn't have any significant background," the woman's bright eyes lingered on Blaze Regret for a moment before she shook her head internally.

She was interested in Jack Fang primarily for better cultivation resources, and evidently, Blaze Regret's appearance didn't make an impression on her.

"Sri Tasha, let's go quickly. Just looking at that pathetic appearance makes me uncomfortable," Jack Fang said impatiently, waving his hand. The woman nodded and hurriedly followed him.

The sun rose and set.

Several more days passed.

Blaze Regret remained quietly sitting cross legged, as still as a sculpture, save for the faint sound of his even breathing.

"So this is the enormous difference between a third grade alchemist and a second grade one. No wonder the entire Velorian City can't produce even one," Blaze Regret murmured as his eyelids suddenly opened, a fleeting spark of flame flashing in his eyes.

He had finally crossed the chasm like threshold and officially entered the realm of a third grade spirit master.

"Friends, since you're here, why hide anymore?"

As Blaze Regret's voice echoed through the forest, a rustling sound arose from all directions. Following it came countless sharp gusts of wind, moving with extreme swiftness. Even from a distance, Blaze Regret's skin felt a piercing pain.

With a flash of brilliance in his eyes, Blaze Regret quickly rolled to the right. Several cold, gleaming blades mercilessly struck where he had just been, scattering wet soil.

These were five Wind Splitting Mantises, all of the same size, each with strength around the third tier. Their hooked blades, sharp as guillotine knives, could easily split hard rocks.

Supporting himself on the ground with one hand, Blaze Regret looked ahead with cold eyes. Immediately, he slapped his palm on the ground, leaping into the air. Several icy blades appeared before him, ripping through the air, shooting straight at the Wind Splitting Mantises.

"Crack!"

With a swing of their bladed claws, the icy blades, condensed from cold air, were split in half, the breaks smooth as mirrors.

After shattering the ice blades, the Wind Splitting Mantises didn't make another move. Instead, they flickered and withdrew to the surroundings. Next to each Mantis stood a man in black, each with an extremely gloomy expression.

"Who are you?" Blaze Regret frowned slightly, his voice unceremonious. Anyone would be quite angry at being suddenly attacked.

"You don't need to know who we are. Summon your spirit beast, and perhaps your death can be postponed a bit," one of the men in black said calmly.

"There's no need to summon my spirit beasts to deal with you." Blaze Regret's expression was indifferent, but he smiled bitterly inside. If the Red and Rock horn Dragon Rhinoceros were by his side, these third tier spirit Imperial masters wouldn't be his match. But the current situation was very dire for him.

"In that case, you can die now."

As the words of the man in black fell, the Wind Splitting Mantises lunged forward again, their sharp claws tracing a cold gleam, aiming at Blaze Regret's vital spots.

Seeing this, Blaze Regret felt a surge of emotions. These Wind Splitting Mantises were well coordinated, clearly trained. Yet he couldn't recall when he had offended such a force.

"Fire Sun Wall!"

Feeling the fierce winds blowing from all directions, Blaze Regret instinctively spread his palms outward. Pale yellow flames surged around him, forming a barrier of light to fend off the ferocious attacks of the Wind-

Splitting Mantises.

"Clang!"

Blade like claws struck the barrier with lightning speed. After a moment, cracks began to spread across its surface, and with a snap, it shattered completely.

As the barrier broke, Blaze Regret swiftly ducked, slipping through the gaps between the mantises. He glanced at the blood seeping from his waist, looking grim. With the strength of a second tier spirit Imperial master, defending against even one Wind Splitting Mantis was his limit, let alone so many appearing at once.

"You're lucky, kid. Keep going."
