While operator error is the most likely cause, it's worth noting that RR has been wonky today. I don't know if anyone noticed (outside hypervigilant authors) but RS went very odd about an hour ago. Books with sub-200 followers were on the front page, and most of the top 10 had less than a thousand. Now, this was fixed in just a couple of minutes, but still. I know RR's admin team is getting ready to launch an RR app at some point in the not-too-distant future, and my, purely speculative take is that they are making tweaks under the hood to optimize the site for that.
