Rise of the Great Emperor

Chapter 462: Gather in Shui Yan City

Chapter 462: Gather in Shui Yan City

"You don’t look that good."

Lin Xiao still had his skill but his target of healing has always been himself. It couldn’t be helped since he was practically staying alone for nearly three years. The others were all busy on their own opportunities to grow stronger in this ancient battlefield.

Sometimes, it was better to stay together.

But at other times, they have their own path and naturally it meant that they couldn’t stay together.

Ye Jian glared at Lin Xiao.

Lin Xiao shrugged and infused his Qi into Ye Jian’s body. It didn’t take long for the wound on Ye Jian’s body to be completely healed. Upon seeing this, Ye Jian was silent for a moment as he furrowed his eyebrows.

It was much more powerful than before. Not only that, the puny Foundation Establishment kid from that time had already become Golden Core Stage 9 cultivators, only needing a bit of push to reach Nascent Soul Stage.

"Lin Yan had good brother."

"You sound close to my first brother." Lin Xiao arched his eyebrows and then sat down back. While Ye Jian’s body looked like it was wounded terribly, the truth was that it was not that bad. The biggest problem was because of his Hell Fire went out of control.

He only needed to restore the formation within Ye Jian’s body and healed the wounds. It was not difficult at all.

"Snow Mountain Kingdom is your kingdom’s neighbor." Ye Jian was speechless. He furrowed his brows as he heard that the name of the kingdom had changed recently. "Right, what’s the name of the kingdom now?"

"Xiao Hu Kingdom."

"You’re just using your name?"

Lin Xiao shrugged as if admitting that.

Ye Jian was speechless. Could he think better name for his kingdom? It was a name that would represent his kingdom in the years to come!

However, it was clear from Lin Xiao’s attitude that he didn’t care that much about the kingdom’s name. in fact, he might even think that it was not really a problem even if he simply used the name ’Lin Xiao.’

"What’s your current healing rank?"

"Hmm?" Lin Xiao furrowed his eyebrows. "I don’t know, perhaps 6?"

Since he never tried to regrow arms, he didn’t know whether he could be categorized as healer rank 7 or not. On the other hand, internal wounds were extremely easy for him to heal.

After all, he kept on healing his own body from time to time.

"You never test it?" Ye Jian frowned.

"No."

"After this is done, you should head to healer association. If you can become a member there, Xiao Hu Kingdom will gain another backer."

Lin Xiao nodded. He was also thinking about upgrading the pillars now that he had almost reached Nascent Soul Stage. He believed that with his skill, there wouldn’t be any problem for him to upgrade the barrier to make sure that the kingdom would still be intact even after a long period of time.

Ye Jian then thought for a moment. "Have you regrow an organ?"

"Hmm? I did."

Lin Xiao’s body experienced a breakdown because he forcefully stuffed the Qi inside. Since it was the case, he immediately activated his Qi to create new organ while dissolving the previous one.

It was painful, though. Thankfully, it only happened twice for the past three years or he would not be able to survive.

"Then you’re rank 8..." If not because of his family’s culture, Ye Jian had an urge to curse. All healers were very precious. It was to the point that there were many people who would want to poach them no matter the price. The higher the rank, the more precious they were.

And if he was not wrong... there were only less than 10 people at rank 7 and even lesser number of people at rank 8, probably less than 5. Now, in front of him was a healer at that rank at the tender age of 25 years old.

That’s unbelievable.

Ye Jian then looked at Lin Xiao suspiciously. "How did you train your healing skill while your ranking also rise so much?"

Lin Xiao merely let out a faint laugh. Should he say that he nearly killed himself and had no other choice but to use his own body as experiment in order to survive? That way, he was actually only healing himself.

Little did he know that healers rarely use themselves as experiment when it come to high ranking healers.

It was all because even the slightest bit of mistake would be fatal and they might even die in the process if they were not careful enough.

"I’m going to Shui Yan City. Are you going there too?" Lin Xiao asked.

Ye Jian nodded. "Yes. Are you going to use the three favors I have to you?"

"Hmm, not now." Lin Xiao shook his head. He didn’t really have anything that required Ye Jian’s help. Besides, he was not too familiar with Ye Jian nor did he know much about this young man.

He would ask his brother about this young man more later.

Ye Jian nodded.

"Let’s go."

"Ok."

With his wound had healed, Ye Jian had no problem traveling in high speed. Lin Xiao also traveled calmly.

In just a short few hours, they reached Shui Yan City.

Shui Yan City was the biggest city in the 20 Years Ancient Battlefield. Every genius will have to gather in this city after they were done with their training. Thankfully, there would be the reminder that was sent to them 3 months before the deadline.

But usually, 3 years were not enough to allow the geniuses who were from poorer area to overcome the barrier of resources.
