Chapter 169: Chapter 169: Is the Second Young Master Really No Good?
Kelvin Max was at a loss.
“Not removing it?” What did the second young master mean by that?
Brandon Piers ignored Kelvin Max, his mind lingering on Abigail Green’s face, sometimes calm and indifferent, sometimes confident and high-spirited, occasionally cunning yet angry.
Today she had been beaten and humiliated, even hovering on the brink of death. It seemed as if she wasn’t excessively terrified, as if she had been through such things countless times and had grown accustomed to calmly accepting them.
He didn’t know if the chubby kid had seen the malicious comments online, but he believed that in the past, the chubby kid had been humiliated and bullied more than once. He didn’t know if she genuinely didn’t care or if her indifference was just habitual.
But even if she genuinely didn’t care, should she be framed, humiliated, and cursed at?
Why!
Without a response from Brandon, Kelvin already planned to leave, but then he heard the second young master: Don’t remove the trending search. He was baffled. “Second young master, what do you mean?”
Could it be that Ruby Green was to be allowed to act this way?
Brandon didn’t answer for a long time, looking serious, as if contemplating a significant issue.
After a while, when Kelvin thought the second young master wouldn’t speak, the always cautious and low-key man suddenly instructed him, “Invite three media companies to broadcast the engagement ceremony live.”
“What?” Even someone as composed as Kelvin was stunned, thinking he must have misheard.
“Do as I say, arrange the media.” After giving the order, Brandon finally came to his senses and pressed a button, his wheelchair automatically rolling towards Abigail Green’s direction. James Carter and two bodyguards quietly followed.
The whole room had only Kelvin left.
After a long time, Kelvin made a call to Pullan, a six-foot-tall tough guy with a buzz cut, a gardener at the hotel who was almost crying while trimming the flowers.
Pullan thought he was being rescued and was ecstatic. “Secretary Max, does the second young master need me? I’ll come right away!”
“No, just wanted to ask you something.” Kelvin tried his best to maintain a calm demeanor.
Hearing it wasn’t for a recall, Pullan immediately became listless. “What’s your business? Hurry up, I have flowers to trim.”
His tone was both arrogant and dejected.
Kelvin adjusted his mood, “Second young master wants three media companies to broadcast the engagement ceremony live.”
“A live broadcast… what?” Pullan was startled midway through his sentence.
“You didn’t hear wrong.” Kelvin rubbed his vibrating ear.
Pullan’s eyes suddenly turned red. “Is the second young master really at his wit’s end?”
“What’s that got to do with the second young master losing his mind?” Kelvin pressed his brow, feeling that something was off.
“People near death often go against their character, like curing OCD.” Saying this despondently, Pullan added in his mind, although it doesn’t work.
Kelvin couldn’t hold back. “Get out.”
…
The moment the police showed any leniency, Clark Stone got the news.
It wasn’t Abigail Green who had been hurt.
Clark didn’t know whether to be relieved or lament that the chubby kid was lucky. But he immediately arranged the engagement ceremony. As long as the person wasn’t dead, the engagement must proceed.
Even if Abigail Green had died, the engagement would have continued to tie the knot with the Piers family.
As for what happened to Abigail, how could the Stone family care?Nôv(el)B\\jnn
Clark first notified Lincoln Green to attend the ceremony and asked his parents to calm the guests. He went to find Jackson Taylor.
Clark knew why Abigail Green agreed to the marriage. Since Abigail couldn’t be found, he naturally had to find someone who could handle it.
Jackson received Ruby Green’s instructions and was arranging people to search the hotel for Aunt Claudia when he suddenly got a call from Clark and swaggered into the banquet hall, only to see Aunt Claudia already sitting at the table. His eyes lit up, “Fuck, old hag, you were hard to find!”
“Is that the bride?” Just as Jackson was about to rush over, someone suddenly shouted.
Everyone’s eyes turned to the entrance.
What do you think?
