Chapter 109: Chapter 109 Does Abigail Green Want to Drag Mr. Second to Death?
As soon as the door opened, Abigail Green smelled a strong scent of blood. Her face changed drastically.
Pullan reacted immediately, “Miss Green, quickly get someone to save the second young master, hurry!”
Abigail’s expression turned grave as she entered the laboratory. She knew Brandon Piers’ body better than anyone. Just from the strong smell of blood, she could tell the blood loss was considerable.
Not to mention the surgery was halfway done, and the senior was taken away. Even if all the doctors were present, with Brandon Piers’ blood loss, surviving was almost impossible.
Although she held a grudge against Brandon because of Teddy,
he was, after all, Teddy’s biological father and had taken good care of her during this period. Now knowing he might already be dead, her heart tightened with discomfort.
Especially as images flashed in her mind of the first time the man appeared in front of her. Under the twilight’s sunset, he seemed like a deity, with amber eyes edged in gold, so handsome that she thought she was dreaming.
She didn’t dislike Brandon Piers; she even thought a man this beautiful in the world was a sight to behold from a distance.
Yet she hadn’t expected this…
Abigail couldn’t help but lighten her breath.
Seeing Abigail Green standing still, Pullan on the ground became anxious and broke into a cold sweat, forcing himself to crawl forward. “Miss Green, please, quickly find a doctor for the second young master…”
“I…” Abigail wanted to say she was a doctor, but knowing her words held no credibility to Pullan, she forced an order. “You are poisoned; you’d better not move. I’ll go check on him.”
After speaking, Abigail snapped out of her distressed mood and walked towards the innermost operating bed.
It was evident that the senior and the experts were taken away hastily; all the equipment was still turned on, and the life monitor kept beeping alarmingly.
The closer Abigail got, the stronger the smell of blood, and her frown deepened.
Until she saw the person on the bed, Abigail’s heart inexplicably clenched, then she quickly stepped forward, but her gaze became dazed when it landed on the face.
It wasn’t Brandon Piers.
Although the person was wearing a patient’s gown, it wasn’t Brandon Piers.
The strong scent of blood she just smelled was emanating from this individual. Abigail now realized the person on the bed was a girl, with a needle in her vein drawing blood, but the blood bag was half-spilled.
Abigail frowned. No wonder the smell of blood was so strong.
A bold idea surfaced in her mind. If this blood wasn’t lost by Brandon Piers, did that mean Brandon Piers might still be saved?
Thinking of this, Abigail hurriedly turned to look for Brandon Piers and saw the operating bed next to the girl’s was empty.
“Brandon Piers, Brandon Piers…” Pullan said those people only took the doctors, leaving Brandon Piers behind to fend for himself.
She knew a bit about the Piers family situation. If Brandon Piers died unexpectedly, the assets in his possession would be handed over to charity organizations. But if he died due to the failed surgery, the situation would be different.
“Brandon Piers, it’s Abigail Green, come out!” Abigail shouted as she searched.
Pullan finally crawled through the passage and saw Abigail Green yelling for Brandon Piers, causing his heart to panic even more. “Miss Green, find help first!”
If he could leave, he wouldn’t be begging this woman to save the young master. Doesn’t she understand his words?
Pullan didn’t dislike Abigail before, even felt some sympathy for her, but now he only hated himself for being blind.
In this situation, she was still dawdling, deliberately wanting to kill the second young master, wasn’t she?
Thinking of Abigail Green and Ruby Green’s discord, and the second young master is about to marry Ruby, Pullan clenched his fists. Damn it! She wouldn’t be taking this chance to retaliate against Ruby and drag the second young master to death, would she?
