Rebirth: Over the Horizon

The light that covered the sight of the two disappeared.

After reaching the teleported place, they could not spot any monster anywhere.

The two continued to be on alert while confirming the surroundings.

In there, was a very wide circular space.

The walls were covered by red shining crystals, and the ceiling was open.

From the sky, snow was falling.

And, one part of the crystal on the wall ahead was protruding, on it was a huge birds nest.

But, it seems that the nest's owner was not there at the moment.

"I guess, a bird-type boss would absolutely come."

"Shall proceed towards the nest,"

"Yes"

The two, while on alert, advance towards the bird's nest.

There were only five meters left before the bird's nest.

At that instant, together with a roaring sound, something was shot at high speed towards the hall from high up in the sky.

But, the two who was on alert could barely jump back and was able to dodge.

Those were sharp-edged ice.

And following that, a monster bird that has feathers white as snow swoops.

Ju-Ju appears before them and covers both of them with its long tail and stands before them like a shield while hissing ferociously.

Glaring eyes, sharp beaks, and talons, bearing the dignity of strong beings, the monster bird descended to the hall.

The path of retreating does not exist from the start.

It was the start of the battle.

The monster bird emerges a magic circle on its sides.

From there, ice shards were shot, covering almost all of their sight.

As Ariana said ju-ju blocked the ice shards with its tough scales, but still it left scratches on him.

"Devour"

Ju-Ju grows another two heads and its three-headed poison snake tries to devour the monster bird.

Adam climbed on the back of Ju-Ju and landed on the bird monsters' upper side and stabs the place along with his magic spells.

"Ice spears"

"Fire Ball"

An unbelievable cold air was emitted from the monster bird, and the poison that covered the monster bird was frozen.

And, *Parin*, together with that high-pitch sound, it flips both of them down and flaps its wings high in the air.

"Its HP Bar was only decreased by 22%?!"A

After all this attack it still had an HP of more than 75%.

For the two who had planned to finish it quickly with fast attacks, its HP amount was higher than expected.

Without minding the wounds on its body, the thorns of ice that grew around the monster bird broke and gathered.

And after a few instances, it was shot like a bullet.

It was flying very fast towards Ariana.

"Super Swap"

Both they instantly swapped the position and the bullet pierced and went through adam's left shoulder.

"Uwaah!" the pain he felt was like hell, he gritted his teeth and used 'Heal' to temporarily seal the hole in his shoulder.

But, adam didn't intend to lose any more of his HP, he slides down and doge it's attack while inflicting a tiny amount of damage to it.

"Paralysis"

At the time monster suddenly went limp and fell where it was standing, adam rolled sidewards barely escaping from its huge body.

The decrease of its HP bar was very little it couldn't be seen in it, but it's not like it was not decreasing.

The monster bird turns around, spread its wings and fluttered.

With storm winds, the ice shards on the ground were caught up and closed in irregularly.

Adam jumped sidewards with the leap to escape the range of the storm winds.

"Devour"

Waiting for adam to get through, Ju-Ju closed into the monster bird.

The bird that was targeted after it fluttered, was not able to face Ju-Ju's attack with a perfect condition.

One of the three heads of the poisoned snake hit its body.

"Fire Ball!"

If there was a chance, why waste it?. Adam intends to accumulate as much damage as possible.

The poison that entangled it once again became ice and was shook off.

Probably feeling that the poison snake was a threat, the monster bird charged towards Ariana.

Because shards of ice do not have an effect on Ju-Ju, there should be no problem with his movement.

It appeared before the bird and parried its attack before reaching Ariana.

Its talons were swung intended to tear apart Ju-Ju's body.

But, before its talons could reach him, Ju-Ju went around and wrapped its part of the body and injected its poison onto the bird's flesh.

The monster bird stopped its attack in mid-way and again flapped its wing high in the air and roared in pain.

The HP Bar on the top of the monster birds was drastically decreased to 32%.

Again, there was no way that adam would let the chance escape and jumped to the back of the monster bird that was stunned by Ju-Ju's attack.

The snowy sky was instantly illuminated with darkness and two stars shined there brightly, which's rays were reflected upon Abyss Angel.

Even after receiving three strikes from him, the bird didn't die, it fell on the ground unable to move while holding its last breath.

Adam ended the monster's life with his one last stab. It turned into white light and disappeared in the air.
