“Haha, just now the Survivors in the vehicle wanted to come down and help you guys, but I was afraid they’d just get in your way, so I didn’t let them. Don’t take it personally,” he said.

Li Haochu’s voice wasn’t low, and although he was facing away from the Survivors, they heard him.

“Does that sting?” a Survivor inside the vehicle muttered.

“It does,” a few Survivors nodded in agreement.

“But what he said seems true, we really couldn’t have been much help,” Xia Mufei added.

“Why are you spouting such painful truths? We’ll definitely become that powerful in the future!” a middle-aged man declared.

The middle-aged man clenched his left fist while holding a little boy’s hand with his right. Although that person kept killing Zombies, he was always protecting that little girl together with another woman.

He too, must become that powerful, to protect his only remaining son!
