Progenitor Vampire: I Have Many Skills!

Chapter 523 : Ead Richson (1)

Although Ava was in shock at his statement about joining these guys, she couldn't ask him before the door was opened.

On the other side, a moderate-looking man in his forties looked Matthew up and down.

Matthew smiled. "Ead Richson." He greeted.

Ead frowned and stared at Matthew before realizing who it was.

"Matthew Dietrich." He replied, surprised.

"Can we talk?"

Ead stared at Matthew and then at the woman behind him. 'I don't remember getting visitors today, but if this man knows me, it means he knows things.' Ead nodded softly and stepped aside.

"Come in."

As they entered, Matthew and Ava were about to be checked out by two men standing nearby, but Ead held up his hand to stop them and shook his head at them.

It was common that when entering this house, people were searched. They could not have any kind of weapon or similar things when entering here, but in front of Matthew and Ava, such things were of no use; Ead knew that if that man wanted to kill him, he could do it, and he could perfectly well bear the consequences.

That's why he didn't allow his men to search them.

After passing the first room of the house, the situation changed drastically.

Suddenly, a beautiful house appeared before their eyes, with large, long hallways and beautiful, expensive decorations.

The house was not quiet. Many people were talking in different rooms, and others seemed to be working on something.

Ead himself directed Matthew to the master bedroom.

Ead grabbed the pot of tea to serve them, but Matthew held up his hand and shook his head.

"I didn't come here for tea."

Ead stared at him for a moment before nodding. He set the pitcher aside and went to sit down.

"I hear Ead Richson is a good, eloquent man, but today, I don't see that anywhere." Matthew looked at him after saying this, which made Ead smile a little.

"No one would be eloquent if the most prominent man in these lands came to visit uninvited."

"Hahaha." Matthew chuckled softly after this but nodded. "I suppose you're right. But I only came for this." He said, pulling out a small scroll and tossing it to Ead.

"My men discovered some things under the table; what do you say? I think your knowledge about that situation is superior to mine."

Ead opened the scroll, though he already knew what it was about. 'Certainly... It's hard to work under this man's nose.' He thought.

He then looked up to look at Matthew.

"If it's information you want, the Mafias of the world found that the chaos that could happen in your territory is enough for them to become prominent again." He said, scrutinizing Matthew's expression for a few seconds.

He wanted to make sure that what he was talking about was something he wanted to avoid trouble. After seeing that Matthew wasn't saying anything, he spoke again.

"A single immensely wealthy Mafia dominates the Blacksmith Kingdom; the same goes for the Richter Kingdom, whose Mafia is allied with King Richter. Both expressed to me the idea of an alliance against you."

"Oh? And your response?"

"I haven't answered them yet."

"You seem to have your own considerations, Mr. Ead."

"The 13 Leading Organizations of the Underworld are interested in your territory and want to assassinate you. But I think they will lose." Continue reading on empire

Matthew's eyes sparkled. This man had given him more information than he wanted. Seen from Ead's position, that didn't make sense.

'The way he's been acting all this time means he's either afraid or thinks he has everything under control. Do mobsters have weapons capable of killing a vampire of over 100,000 power?' Matthew thought.n/o/vel/b//in dot c//om

He had discovered many things before, and in this world, firearms also exist, although the power is nothing to worry about. Would there be a similar weapon, but dangerous to them, the powerful vampires?

Matthew smiled, "What makes you think they will lose? I heard that, among the 13 Underworld Organizations, yours is one of them, isn't it?"

"Between large corporations, businesses, and factories, to control the entire underworld of the Dark Kingdom, with alliances with the nearby Human Empire and the distant Kingdom of Zimmermann. Your organization controls practically everything regarding illegal business in the Dark Kingdom, so you amass huge fortunes, putting you in the Top 5 of the 13. Do you want my territory too?"

The way Matthew listed the types of businesses and even alliances his organization had left Ead speechless.

Even though he is a great controller of his temper, he feels that Matthew knows too much, so he feels annoyed.

However, experience has allowed him to rule for so long and rise above the rest of the underworld in just a few years, he is not someone dumb.

"Mr. Matthew, I honestly have no intention of getting in the way of a Vampire Clan, let alone the Allens. Although we are a large organization, I don't care about territories. At first, I was tempted to go along with the big mob's proposal, as it is, after all, to my benefit. But seeing that you can come here, I guess we have not been able to hide as we should, so it's too many risks, and I don't intend to take them."

"That's a passive response, Mr. Ead." Smiled Matthew. He pulled a small item from his storage ring (the item Paul Cox recently made) and placed it on the table. "I don't come here for passive answers, Mr. Ead. I want to do business."

"Business?" Ead Richson's eyes flashed with curiosity. "What kind of business?"

He grabbed the object Matthew was passing him and frowned. "They're expensive, these materials." He said, surprised.

Matthew nodded.

"They're expensive because I don't have control of the mines, don't you think?"

Ead nodded; he had to agree. But after a moment, he raised his head and stared at Matt. "You want..."

"The business of mobs or underworld organizations is always centered around the fact that chaos must reign. As long as chaos is present, you guys can thrive. And thanks to the recent chaos, I hear that various mines have fallen into your hands, Mr. Ead." Matthew's soft, calm voice gave Ead a chill.

"You..."

"I just want to do business, Mr. Ead. Don't think things to the extreme." Matthew suddenly pulled out a small piece of paper and laid it on the table. "I just want to do business." He repeated.
