Poison God's Heritage

The cries and screams of people echoed and filled the entirety of the sect, panic was ensuing like never before, and it seemed that this sect is done for if nothing happens right now.

"We need to help them out," I said.

"I'll head down there first, Shen Bao, can your puppets work on evacuating the disciples?" the Blue Sun said.

"I was thinking that I'll assist once my forces are laid out," I said as all three of us flew out.n/o/vel/b//in dot c//om

"Guys, I'm sure you're down for some muscle stretching after staying inside the pagoda cultivating all that time," I said to the group inside the ship via the bracelet, "If any of you want to come out and wreak some havoc you're all more than welcome."

Not a second later, the Jade Dragon, Dao Shen, and Zhang Tian all flew out. Followed by Meng Hao, YuYu, and Liang Yu, and finally Master Rain and the slave behind them.

The group didn't need any orders or requests, they all flew forward choosing their own targets and destinations.

As for me, "Automaton, let them out!" I said.

Just as I finished my words, a hundred portals opened up, and from it, thousands of puppets emerged, rushing down the sect.

The fiendish creatures were confused, though they could easily overpower a puppet one to one, but when facing a hundred at once, they become nothing but easy picking for the puppets.

"Shen Bao!" I heard Tonfa's voice echoing down my mind in a divine sense. "Please take away the sect members to a safe spot or hide them behind those puppets of yours! I can't fight to my full ability with them here!"

"Why didn't they run away?" I asked as I noticed that the sect members didn't flee the sect.

"The Confederation thinks that this is another outbreak, my planet is about to be sealed using my own God Slaying Formation! Unless we stop these things, I fear that my planet will be condemned the same way Solarous had been!"

"Shit…" I cursed inwardly. The Confederation is willy-nilly sending out planetary imprisonment plans when they think that there is a slight risk to their safety.

"Don't worry," I replied to him as he blocked several more swings from the converted Xuan Fei. "My puppets are mighty strong!" and so it happened that in matter of minutes, the screams and cries of the sect members died down and instead of them, the agonizing wails of fiends replaced them.

The puppets felt no mercy nor exhaustion, they came down with cold and hot weapons drawn. Blowing what's far and slaying what's close, cleaning up the streets of the sect in a matter of minutes. Of course, that wouldn't have been possible if it wasn't for the help of my own people.

The Jade Dragon had made a name for himself back in the battle of the beyond by slaying the most rakshasa by hands beside a Sun Stage. While the Two Sun stages with me were incredibly adept at executing rakshasa with incredible speed and preciseness. As a matter of fact, although the Blue Sun's destructive power is enough to level the entire planet if she wanted to, she was controlling her power to limit the damage from her hammer enough that it would only destroy and splatter the viscera of the half-rakshasa without even damaging a single blade of grass or a brick of stone.

Tao Yang's flaming sword moved like a twirling scythe of death, killing and incinerating any of the mutated creatures with a single swing, leaving nothing but ash in her wake.

Dao Shen and Zhang Tian were slightly limited in what they could do, as Dao Shen seemed vehemently adamant about not absorbing any of these things, as he clearly felt disgusted by their sight and probably their contorted souls. While Zhang Tian was a master of Law, he refrained from using his Wisdom of the Ages domain, though it had an almost infinite number of domains inside it, none of them were worth using on sparsely spread though numerous half-humans. So he switched to using martial arts, destroying anything that was near his cultivation level or lower.

My two precious YuYu and Liang Yu were like a storm of ice and fire, moving together and helping each other. A blaze of flames from Liang Yu would burn and incinerate the mutated creature's flesh, while another gale of frost would freeze their torched bodies and blow up the brittle remains.

Master Rain was using his knowledge of formation to bind and lock the creatures down to the ground and allow the panic sect members' paths to escape.

While the slave was moving from place to place providing silent assistance to everyone. Though before he was enslaved he was a rude bastard who crossed me, seeing him bring down decimation with his fists whenever he went was a sight to behold.

I on the other hand was cleaning up the mess left by these things and soon found myself without a target to kill, my eyes locked up on the epic battle between tonfa and the transformed Xuan Fei.

The latter was using a strange combo. One half of his body was spraying powerful Qi blades using a broad sword, while the other half which had the majority of the mutation growing out of it was swinging mighty claw blades at Tonfa.

Tonfa should be having the upper hand in this fight, however, something seemed amiss…

I flew up toward the two.

"Shen Bao! Don't come here! You can't fight him! He's at the Sun Stage!" he shouted.

Another indicator that something was wrong, was a Sun Stage shouldn't be able to defeat Tonfa who's at the Yin Stage, but the moment I spread my Divine Sense I realized why.

It wasn't that Xuan Fei was strong, as a matter of fact, he was even weaker than a Sun Stage, barely a pseudo-sun stage now, the mutation seemed to have weakened him, but the reason Tonfa was suffering was due to not only his missing arm but a hole in his side that he was using a majority of his Qi to keep it closed. Not only that it seems that the hole was growing.

"You're infected," I said.

"Yes! I'll end my life the moment I'm done with this guy! For now, run away!" he said.

"Blue Sun, can I have you for a moment," I said.

Just as I finished my words, a massive hammer flew like a meteor right next to me, slamming into the half-turned Xuan Fei and sending him flying far away while she flew past us and went to battle him.

"She should be careful," Tonfa Said gasping for air, "That creature can turn her if she isn't careful… also what are you doing? Why are you pointing that thing at me?" he asked.

"Oh, this? It's called a gun," I said and then shot him in the chest.
