Chapter 119
Once Marie saw Han she immediately called to him! She couldn’t stand up because her behind hurt! Her ass has never been spanked before and it was embarrassing that it was a child that did it!
“Please stop your daughter!!”
Han tilted his head to one side. Huh? What in the world did Yue do while I was away!?
Han quickly walked out of the office and his eyes widened when he saw Yue holding a boy outside the window by his leg!! What the hell are you doing, Yue!? We’re on the third floor! If you’re gonna kill him, you need to be more subtle about it!
“Ah… Father. You’re done already?”
“Please!! Please let me go!!! I’m sorry!!!”
The boy was bawling his eyes out and Han could see that Yue had no intention of bringing him inside. Han sighed. He didn’t know what happened here, but he didn’t want Yue to get into trouble because of it. And besides, that boy would probably die from shock soon.
“Bring him inside, Yue”
“But father -”
“Yue!”
Han’s voice was stern and Yue pouted before bringing the boy inside and dumping him on the floor. Once his legs touched the ground again he immediately ran away while he was still crying. Han took a deep breath and turned to the principal behind him.
“Uhm.?. I’m sorry, but we’ll have to take our leave now. It was a pleasure to meet you. Alright Yue, start moving”
Yue humphed and then folded her hands as she began moving towards the car. He told her not to do anything but he didn’t tell her that the people here would be so annoying! It wasn’t her fault!
The principal tried to get Han to stop, but Han didn’t listen to her. He felt a little bad about just leaving her like that when she was basically begging him to stay, but he had to go.
Han didn’t say anything to Yue till they got to the car and entered. But once he entered, he reached over and pet her head and with a smile. Yue rose a suspicious brow. Was father not angry with her before? Why is he doing this now?
“I don’t know exactly what happened. But you were trying to help that girl, weren’t you? I’m proud of you. Maybe this school isn’t the one for us after all. There are way too many problems”
The smile that Yue gave him was bright enough to light up an entire city!!
….
After the whole issue with the school, Han told Rin Woo that he would call a teacher to home school Yue at the house. From the way Yue was still smiling, he could tell that she was finally happy again. Rin Woo, on the other hand, still thought Yue needed to meet with other children her own age, but Han wouldn’t budge this time.
Yue would break the other children her own age. He would rather not have to deal with multiple dead children because they were rough housing and Yue couldn’t control her strength.
It was obvious that she never interacted with children her age when she was with Regulus. It wouldn’t be a bad thing if she just grew up without them until Han knows how much strength she had and she learned how to control it. But till then, they would have to keep constant watch over her.
Han left after that day and took his private jet to City A. While on the plane, he began to read through the report that Rin submitted on Hou Ren this morning. It was a detailed schedule of what Hou Ren did daily. From his meals to his hangouts and even the sort of women he called to entertain him every now and then.
It was a bit surprising that Hou Ren didn’t have anything especially important going on in his life. He was like a typical old man with too much money. But Han knew that all this was just a cover-up, all the dirty activities that Hou Ren did were taken care of by Cipher. With someone as capable as that man, Hou Ren didn’t even need to lift a finger.
Ha would have to kill Cipher if he wanted Hou Ren to really feel the heat then. There was a regular place where Cipher was known to hang out a lot. Maybe Han would be visiting it once he went back.
City A was still cold, like always. Once Han came down from his jet, he was met with a long convoy of cars waiting in front of the jet. There were close to twenty men standing at attention in business suits and Han eyed them all surprisingly. What in the world was going on here?
“Sir! The boss has ordered us to escort you to the best hotel in the city! It would be my pleasure to take you there!”
One of the men shouted this. He was the only one standing further forward than the others. He had sunglasses on, and an earpiece was on one of his ears. He looked like a typical bodyguard.
Why would Tao Long arrange all of those? Didn’t that idiot know that Han could take careof it himself!? Han almost sent all the men back at once, but then he decided not to spit on Tao Long’s efforts. If he sent these men back then he would lose some face as the boss of the underground.
Fine, Han would put up with them for the time being.
Han followed them till they got to a hotel in the middle of the city. Han didn’t like all the attention he was getting with all the people in the hotel staring at him. But if you walk into anywhere with these many guards of course there would be stares!
The receptionist there looked absolutely terrified while giving Han his room key. Her hands wouldn’t stop shaking! Hey, come on, I’m not a gangster! Don’t look at me like I’ll blow your head off!
The receptionist gave Han the key quickly before bowing deeply. Han could see that she was still shaking even now. He decided he didn’t care enough to bother correcting her and simply left to his room.
Luckily, the room that Tao Long gave Han had all the things that Han needed in this city. On the bed was a long coat that would help him keep out the cold along with a change of clothes. There was a gun on one side and even a platter of food. Han ignored the food, but he took the clothes and coat. They were all in black to help insulate so he felt very comfortable in them. He holstered his gun behind him and then one hour later he left the hotel room.
The convoy that Tao Long prepared for Han was shocked that he wanted to leave so soon, but one glare from him made them all scamper to begin going. There was no need for him to dwell here any longer than necessary.
The underground was still just as loud as Han remembered it to be. The only difference was that Tao Long had added almost three more buildings to the street. All the buildings were clubhouses because Han could see bright lights and hear loud music blaring out from them.
Not bad. Tao Long took what Han gave him and expanded on it. Han couldn’t be prouder of that man. It seems it was a good idea to make him the boss of the underground after all.
The convoy stopped in front of the largest club and they all came down and led Han past the long line of people and into the club proper. Han walked in under the stares of all the people who had been waiting for so long. They were angry and it showed! How can this man that didn’t even wait at all suddenly enter!? Is it just because he is rich!?
Han didn’t bother to interact with anyone. The bouncer at the door was still the same man that was there before and Han was a little surprised that Tao Long kept him. He looked up at the tall man and the man’s eyes widened.
“It’s been a while”
“B-B-B-Boss… ! I-Its a pleasure to see you again!!”
The bouncer bowed to Han deeply and Han nodded before passing to enter. The people that were outside were shocked to see the bouncer they were afraid of suddenly bowing to someone. The bouncer didn’t even bring his head up till he was sure that the door closed behind Han! He was that terrified of this man!?
The inside of the club was huge. There were people dancing and drinking and the DJ was dropping some sick beats on the stereo. Han wouldn’t deny that it would be a good Friday night hangout for many college students. Tao Long was smart to be using this as another means of income.. College students were the stupidest group of people when it came to spending money.
