Picking Up Beautiful Girls In The Post-Apocalyptic World!

Lily was at the supermarket that morning while trying to find something to cook for Han. She had been moving her plan forward at great speed lately. She was sure that very soon Han would want her more than that flat woman!

Oh, she almost forgot that she needed to buy more food for Rin too. The one she left must have already finished. She would get some and give it to Rin Woo before she went back to the house.

Lily nodded and then started moving to find some good produce, only for her to bump into some other woman. The red-haired woman looked down at Lily with a glare before her eyes narrowed strangely.

“Ah, sorry. I wasn’t looking where I was going!”

Lily apologized normally to the woman before trying to move again but the woman suddenly stretched her hand out and grabbed Lily by the arm. Lily felt something hot boiling under the woman’s skin!

Ariel looked down at Lily with a complicated expression on her face. She was trying to understand what she was seeing. She had seen this woman before. She was sure of it! Did that shitty priest not have a picture of her once. He said he wanted to use her for some sort of sacrifice or something. He stopped talking about her after a while and Ariel thought she was already dead. But the girl was right in front of her!

“You… Who are you?”

Lily frowned. What kind of person just asks that. Aren’t you meant to introduce yourself first? Lily dragged her hand away from Ariel’s grip and Ariel’s eyes widened in shock! It was not possible for a normal human being to drag their hand like that!

“At least introduce yourself before you ask for my name. And I apologized to you already. What else do you want?”

Lily was still frowning at Ariel while she said all this. The area around her was reacting to her anger and getting a little cold! Ariel eyed the surrounding in even more shock!

This was an ability! This girl was another chosen! Then why is she just in the supermarket? Why was she just living her life like she was normal?

When Ariel didn’t say anything after a while, Lily scoffed and started to walk away. Ariel had only come here to buy something to keep herself fed while she continued staking out the cafe for Rin, but now that she saw this girl, she was going to find out more about her instead.

As Lily walked out of the supermarket, Ariel decided to tail her and see where she would go. It was strange that this girl managed to escape from Regulus and also lives in City C. The only way that would work was if Lily found a family to stay with. Ariel was sure that Lily didn’t have any money, but was it possible that she found a job this quickly? Ariel would tail Lily and make sure she was not living off someone else by force. If Lily turned out to be a good person with a job then Ariel wouldn’t mind leaving the girl alone. Even the discarded chosen deserved to live happy lives.

But Ariel wouldn’t tolerate Lily using her powers to force anyone to serve her like Regulus did. Ariel already felt Lily’s power and it was surely not small. If Lily wanted to, she could probably kill anyone around her or force them into being her servant.

Outside the supermarket, Lily walked to a car parked at one side of the road and got in before driving off. Ariel looked around her and noticed that there were too many people around. She could probably keep up with that car using her physical speed but it would not be good if people saw her here She couldn’t just run after the car, and not expect people to notice. She decided that she would double back and trail the car from the rooftops. Rin Woo would have to wait for a little longer because she couldn’t let this girl go without knowing what she was up to.

Han got to the general area where Rin lived and got down from his car. Yes, this was her address. He entered the building and walked up to the room where Rin Woo should be, but there was no response when he knocked.

This was strange. Why would Rin Woo not answer? She was probably not home at all. Han activated his [Eyes of Horos] and he was shocked when he didn’t see any sign of a human being inside the house. So she really wasn’t home? Where could that girl have gone to!?

It was good that he already asked some of the workers in his office who were friends with Rin and they told him she usually frequented a cafe near her house whenever she could. Han walked out of the apartment building and was able to find the cafe easily. It was a small cafe lodged in between two bigger houses. It gave off a homely feeling that just made him relax.

The worker at the counter was a man who gave Han a frigid stare once he entered. The waiter immediately felt his self-esteem take a plummet to the ground when he saw how handsome Han was! This man was too handsome!! Go away, you handsome man! This is my turf!

Han smiled and the stare became even colder! Han was shocked internally. He didn’t even do anything and this man already didn’t like him? What a strange man!

“Hi. I’m looking for someone. Do you know a Rin Woo? She is my assistant and I need to find her for some work,”

The waiter rose a brow. Another person was looking for Rin? She was very popular nowadays, wasn’t she!?

He told Han to wait for a while and he went to get the manager that was Rin Woo’s friend. The woman had a frown on her face as she walked out of the inner room. Who was looking for Rin again? Was it not enough that the red-haired woman was now coming every day? Did somebody else want to start staking out her cafe too!?

She was going to give this man a piece of her mind to make sure they don’t come back. Her cafe wasn’t a surveillance center. She approached Han with the frown in place, but once she laid eyes on Han the frown broke!

H-Handsome!!!!

“Hi, how can I help you?”

The worker behind her narrowed his eyes at the woman. Didn’t he already tell her what Han wanted? Why is she still trying to ask him again? And why are you suddenly smiling!? Weren’t you shouting just now that people were disturbing you too much!?

The manager moved closer to Han and she leaned a little on the counter. Han smiled as he noticed how her new position revealed her cleavage to him. He was so used to this now that it was getting old. He didn’t even look away from her eyes, even though he could still see everything very well.

Oh, come on. He was still a man. He had a right to admire the beauty! And damn, those babies were beautiful.

“Hi. I’m looking for my assistant. Rin Woo. Do you know where I can find her?”

The manager felt annoyance fill her for a while once she heard that Rin Woo was this man’s assistant. She was sure that Rin was using that silly CEO troupe to grab this man for herself! But then the manager realized that neither she nor this man had seen Rin Woo for close to three days now and she slowly started to get worried. There could be trouble.

“Actually. I haven’t seen Rin Woo either. I thought she would come in to drink coffee like she usually does but she hasn’t even popped by for a greeting for close to three days now. And there’s something else… There has been a woman that has been coming to look for Rin. A pretty woman with red hair. I don’t know what relationship they have but the woman has been coming here every day for three days now,”

Han was shocked. Nobody has seen Rin for three days!? What happened to her? And who was this woman that kept on coming to look for Rin Woo? Han didn’t know all of Rin Woo’s friends, but he has never seen any redhead around her before.

Han thanked the manager before leaving the cafe. He had to find Rin as soon as possible because he had a bad feeling about all this.. Rin Woo was missing and he was going to break whoever was responsible for it.
