“Galaxy? Where is Galaxy?”

Galaxy had suddenly disappeared, which made Zhang Zian worried. His forehead was sweating.

Where did it go?

“Zian, Galaxy is here!”

Galaxy’s voice came from the metal pipes. It sounded like it was in a tunnel.

Oh? What was going on? Galaxy couldn’t use its magic a few seconds ago now it had disappeared!

“Galaxy, be careful.” He was worried.

Old Time Tea looked like it remembered something.

“Grandpa Tea?” Zhang Zian asked.

Old Time Tea remained silent for a second. After a second, it finally said, “Zian, don’t worry. We might be wrong… Do you remember I said normal people could not catch Galaxy’s movements?”

“Yup,” Zhang Zian nodded with questions.

He was obviously still concerned about Galaxy.

“We were all looking at Galaxy a few seconds ago.” Old Time Tea raised its paw and pointed at Fina and Zhang Zian, “I can’t explain exactly what happened but it could be the reason…”

Zhang Zian was dumbstruck for a second and then he realized what Old Time Tea meant.

He was a normal person without any special magical abilities, but Old Time Tea and Fina were both powerful Elfins. They were blessed with people’s spiritual powers. Their willpowers affected Galaxy’s performance.

That could be why.

“Wait, that’s not right.”

Zhang Zian was going to praise Old Time Tea for its intelligence but Old Time Tea denied himself.

“What is not right? I think what you said makes sense,” Zhang Zian was even more confused. He felt like he just had walked out of a maze and immediately entered another one, a much larger one.

“Of course, it is not right,” Fina said sarcastically, acting like it was none of its business.

“Can you guys just be straightforward? I want to know!” Zhang Zian gave up on the guessing game. He couldn’t just wait to find out the answer. He was upset that even Fina knew the answer and he didn’t.

Old Time Tea laughed, “Well, it wasn’t me and Queen Fina. It was you, Zian.”

“Me?” Zhang Zian looked at himself. He was only a normal man without any special skills. How could he influence Galaxy’s performance?

“Tell me please,” he continued the question.

Old Time Tea said peacefully, “When Galaxy played hide-and-seek, Queen Fina and I watched it come and go all the time. Galaxy sometimes slowed down, but was never frozen like a few minutes ago. That’s because you were always looking away. However, when you stared at it, it stayed put. I think that’s where the problem lies.”

Fina stretched and didn’t say anything. From its expression, it agreed with Old Time Tea.

Zhang Zian was even more confused, “Grandpa Tea, are you serious? I am only a normal guy. How can I…”

“It does not matter. The most important thing is that Galaxy felt your stare and gave feedback,” Old Time Tea confirmed. “I would say that another person will not be able to lock Galaxy in place like you did. It might be a good thing, or it might not be. No matter what, only you have this magical power.”

Zhang Zian was silent.

Was this a tie between him and Galaxy?

Obviously, Old Time Tea was not a professor and didn’t know about Quantum Theory, yet it explained the phenomenon in its own simple language. He understood exactly what Old Time Tea meant. His attention caused Galaxy to be extremely self-conscious; therefore, it was eager to show off in front of Zhang Zian. At this time, an even stronger observer came out. That was Galaxy itself, stopping it from entering the zone.

When Zhang Zian turned his eyes at the surveillance camera, Galaxy relaxed and resumed its magical powers.

Like Old Time Tea said, this might be a good thing. It might not be.

Everything comes with two sides. Nothing is absolutely good or bad.

The Navigation Elf said Galaxy could be pulled back into the fantasy black box and stay with the cyanide. It would die and come back to life, die again and then come back to life one more time. It would be an endless circle until the Quantum Theory was proven wrong.

The Navigation Elf also said that Galaxy could determine everyone else’s destiny except for its own.

For the first time, Zhang Zian had a new thought – The Navigation Elf might be great and knew a lot, but it wasn’t the almighty God that knows everything. In fact, it made a small mistake regarding Galaxy.

Maybe Galaxy didn’t have to wait until the Quantum Theory was proven wrong to be completely released.

Today’s experience made him believe that it was possible, although the possibility was low. The Navigation Elf could not completely control Galaxy. The person who made the game was sharp, but he was not able to control everything.

He then recalled when Galaxy first came. It hid behind the flower pot, scared. Now, it sat at the door and watched people walk by. He thought about how Galaxy looked up at the sky with joy and a minute ago how Galaxy wanted to show off in front of everyone… Time passed slowly, but it was also moving fast. Galaxy was growing up step by step without him even noticing.

However, when Galaxy was completely released, it might permanently lose its ability to enter the quantum stage and hence, become a normal kitten. That may be a better choice for Galaxy. It would be a much easier life.

Galaxy was growing. What about Fina and Old Time Tea?

Everyone was slowly changing, including himself.

Zhang Zian knew that all his work was worth it. His work wasn’t about how many pets he sold nor how much money he made. It was also not how many big shots he got to know. It was something deeper; invisible, yet comforting him in an incredible way.

The road ahead was long, but it was very exciting.
