Otherworldly Desert Dust

On the sea surface, thick fog hung like a massive barrier, isolating the world within the island.

Previously, patrol boats had ventured into the eerie fog around the island, only to mysteriously vanish completely. All signals faded as if they had traveled to another dimension. n/ô/vel/b//jn dot c//om

"This fog isn’t ordinary; it corrodes space," said junior sister Qing Meng.

Wu Hen, not understanding, asked while observing ahead, "Spatial corrosion—does that mean it could open a strange passage in their small world, allowing some creatures from Desert Dust to appear in the fog?"

"Yes, some creatures have that ability. No matter where they wander, they can transport their nests to wherever they are. Ying Snake is doing just that right now."

Wu Hen felt enlightened.

If only he had such an ability.

He could raise an army of a hundred thousand Divine Weapons and breed numerous fierce tamed beasts. When battle called, he could release such eerie fog and summon his troops directly to the battlefield.

"No wonder Ying Snake flew into our homeland and did nothing at first, simply occupying a spot. It planned to build a nest in our homeland!"

"Since that’s the case, everyone be careful. Desert Dust creatures in the eerie fog will pose a significant threat to our Emperor Mechas!" said the Prison Rock Mecha.

The battle aircraft opened the way, diving first into the eerie fog barrier.

The fog was incredibly dense, like colorful toxins turned into a liquid film spreading through the air. Occasionally, one could see toxin clusters as large as mountains or toxin gases like ferocious mutant beasts, eyeing those who ventured into the fog.

"Squad Seven, launch Hurricane Missiles to disperse the Toxic Fog Mountain," ordered the battle aircraft commander.

Deep-blue and dark-night battle aircraft formed a triangular formation, with flashes of fire already flickering at the launch ports under their fuselages!

"Fire!"

Dozens of battle aircraft simultaneously launched Hurricane Missiles at the Toxic Fog Mountain. The missiles traced a straight line through the air before exploding on the dense toxic mountain!

These missiles did not contain conventional warheads but compressed Wind Crystal material, also from Desert Dust. Once detonated, it would form a powerful hurricane of intensity twelve!

When dozens of Hurricane Missiles hit an area simultaneously, the resulting fierce hurricanes compounded, ultimately forming a massive tornado vortex!

This tornado vortex was terrifyingly powerful. If it passed over a city, most concrete buildings would be shredded, and heavy vehicles like buses would be easily tossed into the air.

On the Toxic Fog Mountain, a towering black silhouette stood. People couldn’t see what it was but felt it open a cavernous mouth, roaring at the tornado vortex!

The roar shook the earth, forming an incredibly tyrannical black wind that collided with the missile-generated hurricane cloud!

"Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!"

Instantly, the entire island was filled with a fierce wind. One storm after another collided on the sea surface, on the island’s mountains, and in the sky, ultimately forming a black apocalyptic wind that swept toward the dozen aircraft that had launched the missiles!

The aircraft immediately changed direction, attempting to leave the terrifying storm collision zone. Yet, in such a gale, even the highly maneuverable aircraft were like little sparrows, unable to escape nature’s wrath regardless of how they flapped their wings.

Five aircraft were caught in the storm collision zone, their structures ripped to shreds, and the pilots were torn apart like straw!

"Activate shields!" commanded the battle aircraft commander.

The shields required four battle aircraft to maintain a diamond formation, formed using Desert Dust magnets. But the toxic storm was so fierce they couldn’t stabilize in the air, let alone form a diamond formation!

With much difficulty, four aircraft grouped together under the lead of their squad leader, activating the diamond shield.

The shield resembled a crystalline barrier. As the toxic storm’s strongest surge passed through, the diamond shield played a crucial role, preventing them from being torn apart.

Just as they thought they had narrowly escaped, a massive red claw suddenly appeared from the Toxic Fog Mountain, covering the four aircraft in the diamond formation!

"Boom!!!!!!"

The shield shattered instantly, and the aircraft crashed into the inner bay of the island, littering the bay with debris.

Terrifying, shocking!

The battle aircraft’s combat process was broadcast live. People could see these scenes clearly on electronic screens, phones, and televisions...

Perhaps an overhead view gave some hope, but watching from the aircraft’s first-person perspective, everyone felt the terror of the toxic storm firsthand and the oppressive force of the unknown yet powerful creatures within the toxin. Whether ordinary people or Spirit Awakeners, everyone shivered!

They had thought the Butterfly Divine Snake was quietly hiding in the ocean’s islands.

Previously, while dealing with Divine Desolate Ying Snake, the Dark Nether Array had suppressed many of Ying Snake’s ministers in its nest. Now, they had to face these powerful and terrifying creatures head-on.

"Deploy Mechanical Beasts!" commanded Silver Cloud driver Hu Xu.

Hu Xu now represented human military force and could not let all of humanity be ridiculed by the Outer Heaven Guest in this war.

During the Alien Dust Era, people knew little about contemporary human strength. Many technologies of the Emperor Alliance had matured. Broadcasting this epic defense battle globally was their chance to make a grand promotion for the Emperor Alliance and attract Spirit Awakeners.

"Roar!!!!!!"

At the bay, the waters churned turbulently.

Like a giant submarine breaking through the waves, the Mechanical Saw-Claw Dragon stomped on the shallow sea rocks, appearing below the Toxic Fog Mountain!

It took massive steps, crushing the mountain.

"Grrrr!"

Its sparking chainsaw claws activated, and the mechanical dinosaur lunged at the Red Demon Ancient Ape, its high-speed rotating saw-claws slashing at the ancient ape!

As tall as a skyscraper and its skin as tough as granite, the Red Demon Ancient Ape’s flesh was impervious to the metal chainsaw claws that could easily slice through diamonds!

The Red Demon Ancient Ape raised its vast palm and slapped down on the Mechanical Saw-Claw Dragon’s head!

The dragon’s head spun, sending parts flying down the mountain like rolling stones crushing the beach.

Suddenly, the Red Demon Ancient Ape pulled out a massive bone club from the fog. The club shimmered with light and was covered in evil flames!

"Bang!!!!!!"

The evil flame bone club smashed into the Mechanical Saw-Claw Dragon, shattering the metal armor on its back!

The dragon tried to counter with its chainsaw-like tail, but the Red Demon Ancient Ape nimbly dodged, its massive body leaping into the air, avoiding the saw tail, and then delivering another punch to the dragon’s head!

The Saw-Claw Dragon’s head flew off, exposing its steel skeleton and cables, sparks flying, parts scattering!

The raging Red Demon Ancient Ape swung the evil flame bone club wildly, striking repeatedly!

Metal armor exploded, internal steel bones shattered, and black machine oil sprayed out like the beast’s blood...

Silence.

The human cities fell silent.

They couldn’t believe that the immensely powerful Mechanical Beast had been shattered so easily by a Red Demon Ancient Ape. The heavy metal wreckage was trampled indiscriminately, crushing human technological pride!

It was too terrifying, completely out of their league.

To think, this Red Demon Ancient Ape was just a minister of Ying Snake. How powerful must Ying Snake itself be??

"Hmph, all show and no substance. Being big doesn’t make it strong. Utterly foolish," said senior brother Gu Yue, evaluating the human’s Mechanical Beast.

"They have encountered Desert Dust but don’t understand how to use metal materials and Yuan You energy. Compared to the mysteries of the Daxuan Empire, it’s just a bunch of scrap thrown together," Qing Meng added disdainfully.

Silver Cloud driver Hu Xu’s face was full of embarrassment. The scene had indeed stunned him.

A simple Guardian could easily disassemble their proud Mechanical Beast. Thankfully, they had sent in the Mechanical Beasts first; if they had gone directly with the mechas, wouldn’t they have lost an expensive Emperor Mecha?

"Prison Rock, engage head-on!" Hu Xu didn’t want to be underestimated by the Outer Heaven Venerable Guest and promptly issued the order, "Purple Bird, scout ahead."

Were they finally going to deploy the Emperor Mechas?

The Granite Giant Beast’s mecha came into action; its frame was two sizes larger than the Mechanical Saw-Claw Dragon and its shell made of Desert Dust Strange Rock Ore. Apart from its clumsiness, no mecha could compare to it in strength!

The Prison Rock advanced with a Taishan Charge, not only shattering the mountain before it but also toppling the Red Demon Ancient Ape to the ground.

Its massive mechanical fist rose high and began a series of pile-driving punches on the Red Demon Ancient Ape!
