Chapter 95: Panty and His Five Elite Players
Chapter 95: Panty and His Five Elite Players
Bloom kept killing players right and left, without anyone able to match his complicated, hard to be predicted way of fight. His large diversity of skills made players hopeless.
Players at level ten would have three to four skills max, but currently Bloom was jumping between a skill and another like he had a whole skill tree unlocked for him alone; like he was a special player different than others.
However he wasn't pressuring over them, as he already had delivered the message he wanted, took hundreds of death souls, and completed one of his secret class quests.
What he was waiting for was Nara's signal, and so he just kept moving without fully concentrating over the players here; and so he didn't notice that players started escaping.
Hundreds of players started to run, leaving him so sudden alone, without anyone else around. "Oh, so you escaped, sigh!" he muttered when he glanced over the distance to find players all standing on a distance, far away from him.
He lost interest in killing them, as he had his big fish now trapped and was about to fall in bait. "I hope Nara and her team will be up to the task," he muttered as he waited, motionless in his place, while his back was now to players; however not a single one dared to attack him.
If a beast like his decided to let them live, how come they would be so stupid to go again and irritate him? so, the scene was really funny with one player standing before hundreds of players while his focus was totally directed towards a specific location.
'We are ready, start moving towards us,' Nara sent as she started executing his plan. The plan was simple yet he lied about a simple fact about it.
He started to walk while not feeling any guilt at tricking and lying at his new team, after all he wasn't the one to approach them first. As he was walking so carefree, leaving the hundreds of players behind heaving a long deep sigh of relief, he recalled the simple plan and white lie he told Nara and others about.
He described the monster he used to kill from before, and asked them to attract a group of these monsters, move towards the direction of Panty and his team.
Players at this stage weren't well aware of the village special rules regarding leveling up; so he asked them to run directly towards Panty and his group, shield themselves there while Panty and his team would start killing the monsters.
So far this was a perfect plan where he hid nothing from them, but when Nara asked about the special skill of the monsters, he lied and told her that it was an individual skill directed towards the one with the highest DPS. So, as long as they didn't deal great damage to monsters then they would be fine.
And they brought his words to the letter! And he was perfectly sure if they stayed there while these monsters used their special skills then none of them would emerge alive.
He chuckled when he imagined the situation where these monsters would start using their skills, making everyone unable to use their skills at all!
Players with their weak minds and shallow experience would falter for sure, and even if some were veterans; they didn't play long in the game to take control of things regarding the skills each player was using.
As for his perfect excuse, he had two; first he told them he didn't kill such a monster before, only saw them fight each other once, deducted their special skill and being wrong wasn't bad, right?
Also he described the monsters perfectly except some few little remarks that would make a difference if things got heated up; like neglecting to mention tentacles, and the presence of one horn instead of two.
If they were so bitter in him cunning them then he would prefer to kill them and go on his way.
The distance between his location and Panty's took roughly ten minutes walking, three to four running. Despite he didn't plan to interfere early on, he ran to the place of the battle so he could do two things; observe the players' playing style, and kill anyone of them who might try to escape.
Someone like Panty wouldn't select mere hundred players without having some good traits in them. what he didn't count for when he decided to target Panty's quest was the presence of other players there.
If he allowed this team to stay, be only one to two levels different from him, then he would be doomed!
He had to diminish their levels constantly, killing them, killing anyone else Panty might hire as his bodyguard; in the end he had to kite this wealthy spoiled kid until the time of executing his quest.
So he needed to study these players well; plus he had to turn this arrogant rash decision of Panty into a personal feud, so he would have an excuse to constantly kill him and his elite team.
So, he reached there in less than three minutes, and the fight he witnessed made his scalp numb!
The monsters were really tyrant! Nara selected a group of fifty monsters, and despite their low numbers they were wreaking havoc towards Panty's team.
The team was already having some difficulty dealing with a leopard-like group of monsters. The sudden appearance of this huge group startled them, and caused many to lose their lives in the first minutes of clash.
When Bloom reached there he found around seventy five players around a single player, tall with well built physique, and a stance that told a lot of how arrogant and self confident he was.
Despite everyone being scared, five of the players stood calm, giving orders to others, assigning their roles and giving them directions.
"So you didn't come here all alone after all, huh!" Bloom muttered as those five instantly attracted his attention, as they weren't just veterans, they seemed to have long experience in facing deadly situations.
"No matter what, I just planned to screw your quest once however here you are making it personal, like that jerk Derick!"
