Chapter 93: Killing Players with One Hit is Now A History
Bloom didn't imagine that his target was like Derick, arrogantly coming to look for him seeking a fight. He evilly smirked as he had now a nice game to play.
'I just hope he has the quest, or else I will have to keep killing him until he quit the game.'
Bloom was thinking about his death soul absorption effect, as when killing Panty he wouldn't be able to join the game for a couple of days.
So, he just dreamt for Panty to have the quest and for the quest to be lost in the same way Derick had. Of course he was just dreaming, and nothing of this was true.
"Listen, I will ask you something important to do," Bloom turned to face Nara and the others. "Do you plan on facing them head on?" she said in a shocked tone.
"Why not?" he shrugged, "I can easily kill them but their sneaky coward leader will escape, and I don't plan on letting him run away. So, I will need your help in this."
"A decoy? We are against all these players?" she asked, pointing to herself then towards the nearby tree line.
"A decoy for sure, but not for the players," he sneered as he started to explain his plan.
He only gave them tasks, some warnings and tips. As he would have the most dangerous and tiring part; in their opinion, they didn't complain at all.
For him, he wasn't that kind of a team leader to take the hardest task for him; he was just seeking to fill his missing death points.
"Let's go," he muttered, and before going on towards the tree line, he did something extra for his own satisfaction.
"System alert: Player has chosen the kill players quest. Quest description: You are an agent to the dark forces in a world of light. You are asked to kill at least one hundred players in a day.
You must kill players belonging to the village. You can kill the players inside the village, on condition that you won't be discovered. Doing any of these deeds will grant you quest success, and according to your evaluation, you will be rewarded.
Quest condition: don't' get caught, don't get seen, be silent, be hidden, be sneaky and villain."
"System alert: Player has chosen the trick players quest. Quest description: You are an agent to the dark forces in a world of light. You are asked to select one player at least, and trick him. the trick must be in something the player wants, owns, or wants to know.
The player must be part of the village. the player must be convinced by your deeds and not discover your trick. Doing any of these deeds will grant you quest success, and according to your evaluation, you will be rewarded.
Quest condition: don't' get caught, don't get seen, be silent, be hidden, be sneaky and villain."
He sneered as the first quest of killing players would be completed easily. The number of players he spotted were in hundreds, making him sure he would be able to fill up the missing hundreds of his death soul points.
As for tricking the players, he considered his deal with Nara and others as tricking them, not only in hiding the truth of his death souls, but also regarding the arrangement of the battle; he lied to them.
He gave them simple instructions about a specific course of the fight, however he was positively sure the fight would take another route.
As he moved towards the tree line, Nara and her group of players vanished to do their task. Their role would start after his attack on the players, creating a gap for them to sneak through, looking for Panty to kill.
His appearance, coming so calm and collected towards the trees, gave his enemies the false impression that he fell in their trap! However, just as he was a couple of tens of meters away from the tree line, the first attack came from him, not them.
"Shade doppelganger festival."
The next moment, eleven shadows appeared around him. they were all exactly looking like him, but black in color. "Go and kill them all," he muttered, as he never stopped his walk towards the line of trees.
His doppelgangers moved, and eleven of them attacked the players who were taken by surprise.
"5000"
"5000"
"6500"
"4500"
"2000"
"7000"
"6000"
"5500"
"2500"
"8000"
"5600"
Eleven points of damage rose from the top of players behind the trees. "Oh, there are two players who rose their levels quite fast indeed," he sneered as he spotted those two players as he was getting so close to them.
His doppelganger had half of his all strength, but due to the one level difference, this point was negated and their attacks were amplified by their skills as well.
However the two players who had two thousand and two thousand and five hundred points of damage were different; making Bloom quite sure their levels were like his, level eleven, while their gears were also remarkable, aiding a lot in their defense.
As for one hit kill players, that was now a thing of the past. Each of these players had reached level ten, had at least a couple of lever five gears now on their bodies. Their Hp was at least exceeding dozen thousand points, and even with trash low leveled gears, their defenses would be boosted as well.
So, hitting them with one skill and killing these players was now an old tale to be told. He needed at least three to four skills connected together to kill a single player of them, without any interruption of a healer or using Hp potions which would start to be a common thing to obtain.
"Stab!" "5500"
His first stab skill hitting one of the normal players took out nearly one third of that player Hp. He didn't aim to finish him but as long as he was standing in his way to use his dash, he had to eliminate him.
"Stab." "10000"
And it was a crit! A system notification kicked in and he totally ignored it, he wouldn't receive just one, he would receive hundreds of them.
"Dash!"
He linked his stab with his classic movable skill. The target was one of the two players he was setting his eyes upon, and now he could be sure of the factions of these two players.
"Annoying!" They were like Gored, shield bearer faction, holding two shields at the same time, deflecting most of the damage off their bodies.
However his dash was so domineering, not in its damage, but in its stun!
"7500"
