Chapter 79: Starting A Fight Against More Monsters

Chapter 79: Starting A Fight Against More Monsters

"I need to find a way to prevent these monsters from running away," he muttered, as he was reflecting on the last fight, trying to understand one thing. "So, when two monsters use the skill together, they negate each other's negative effect, while my luck increases and the crit rate grows exponentially after that," he muttered as this was the only explanation he had for what had happened before.

"So, five monsters are considered a problem, as one would remain there to topple balance. The best way then was to let that monster run away, while focusing on dealing with the remaining four," he started to draw the strategy of his next battles while walking among monsters calmly and quietly.

He revised the previous battle more than once, and he had already figured out a way to fight these monsters. He was mistaken in hurriedly using his doppelganger from the start, as they were killed easily, while he could use them in a better way, to stop the escaping monsters, even if some of them would be sacrificed in the process.

While walking and contemplating, he had consumed three potions to replenish his lost Hp, one village intermediate, and two village basic Hp potions.

He had already deciphered the way these monsters fight, and thus he could deal with two alone, as for the other two, he would leave them to his doppelganger, provided that the fifth monster escaped.

"So, I have to focus only on one monster, decrease its Hp to half, then let it escape before stunning the others and kite their Hp slowly," he muttered as he finalized his fight plan.

After walking for half an hour, he found a five monster group, formed of the same kind of monster he just fought with. He unsheathed his two swords, walked directly towards them, and just as the monsters stopped their passive wandering, sniffed the air, he started his attack with his classic move.

"Dash!"

The next moment his body moved forcibly by the skill, heading directly towards the distant monster in the group. The moment he hit it, he didn't wait for the monster to be driven back for a couple of meters, as he linked his skill with another.

"Cloud of fog!"

He was now surrounded by the four monsters that were starting to attack using their tails. The moment he used his skill, he changed the trajectory of his sword, to clash directly with the four monsters, sending them flying a couple of meters backwards, while a single monster activated the glove passive skill, sent to fly skill, making it fly five more meters to the back.

However, he didn't pursue this monster, as it was one in the side, while his aim was another one.

"Swift kick."

He turned on himself, while launching a kick towards the rear monster. The hit sent the monster five more meters flying in the air, and he didn't stop there, didn't wait for his body to complete his turn and return to his initial position.

"Sky piercer!"

He jumped instantly three meters in the air, to be like a hawk, creating a momentum, while heading directly towards the retreating monster, as his sword fell heavily with all his momentum and weight, making the stop of this monster very hard on the ground.

"Boom!"

"600-2500"

It even caused a strong impact sound that shook the ground slightly, beside cutting off some of this monster's tentacles in the process. The monster lost over three thousand Hp in this simple exchange alone, and Bloom just started!

"Stab, stab, stab, stab, slice, stab, stab, stab, stab, slice, stab, stab, stab, stab."

"250- 250- 500- 250- 300- 500- 250- 250- 250- 250- 600- 250- 250- 250- 250"

In the next ten seconds, Bloom used his own barrage of attacks, with much confidence in his own ability to kite down this monster's Hp.

He only managed to take down slightly over four thousand and half of this monster Xp, making him so close to cross the half life point.

However, he had first to deal with the monsters behind him.

"Roar!"

"Roar!"

"Roar!"

"Roar!"

"Roar!"

Five roars erupted approximately at the same time. Bloom knew that the monsters just broke free of his stun effect, and thus he was preparing himself for the most stressful moment in his plan; dealing with five angry monsters again!

"Slice!" "300"

He first used this skill to change his position, making himself in a better place, while evading the monster's attack of tentacles and that annoying tail, plus wasting precious three seconds in the process.

During his move around the monster, he kept stabbing it using only one sword, while the other was kept clean, ready to be used for his next skill.

In three seconds, the far monsters were already closing on him, except for the monster that had the luck to activate the sent to fly glove passive.

"Dash!"

Bloom didn't delay, as he hurriedly used his skill towards that distant monster. The moment his body moved, he reached the monster in a second, directly hitting it unprepared for this charge, while driving it backward.

"Cloud of fog!

Again, he used the skill to change his sword trajectory, hitting the other three monsters, sending them backward, while one of them activated the passive sent to fly glove skill, being sent more meters to the back.

Only one monster remained, the one he was kiting from the start. The monster didn't wait for Bloom to finish stunning every monster, as it hit with its two claws, angrily, Bloom's back, causing him to lose five thousand of his Hp in the process.

As the monster was about to continue attacking again, Bloom had finished stunning the last monster, ready to deal with this annoying monster.

"breaker piercer!"

He moved his sword to intercept the claws of that monster, while turning around himself, dashing towards the monster, carrying it with him flying in the air for three meters. He didn't wait for the skill to finish, and he and the monster stopped dashing backward, as he instantly used his two skills, one after another.

"Swift kick!"

"Sky piercer!"
