Chapter 101: Testing A New Strategy to Kill Monsters and Level Up Faster!
"Stab, stab, slice, stab, stab, stab, stab, stab, slice, stab, stab, stab, "
Despite the dozen monsters being low on their Hp, they managed to use their skill one after another. The benefit here was that their numbers were even, they were weak, and they all activated their skills just after a couple of attacks used on them from Bloom and his doppelgangers.
In less than five minutes the dozen monsters fell and Bloom didn't lose a single shade. In return he gained a decent amount of Xp, however he needed more as his level was raised one by one, and these monsters were stimulated by players two levels weaker than him.
That might be why he managed to slain them easy and fast, however what he was looking for was Muna's upgrade. So, once he killed the monsters, he gathered the dropped coins and as usual there was no single piece of equipment here, and then headed back to the line of trees.
He managed to clear two groups of monsters this time, and this created a decent gap making him able to advance forward if he wanted to. He thought about what would happen if he lured more groups of monsters here, wouldn't it be interesting?
The thing he was skeptical about was that if he brought even a number of monsters together then the end result would be none alive! "This seems quite similar to a game mechanic, as the game would never let such a loophole so easily be exploited."
He muttered to himself as he returned to the line of trees, while thinking more about the right strategy here. Panty had the advantage of numbers and potions, however he couldn't be such a big spender and buy many potions for his team.
Despite him having many gold coins right now, he knew it wasn't good to be a tycoon in front of greedy players. "After all, all players are greedy and I must be the same," he said as he reached Muna, who moved out and knelt as usual.
"Please stop saluting me like this, players never do that," he said.
"Don't worry master, I can perfectly imitate players, she replied.
"Good," he nodded, "tell me, how many levels have you gained already?" he asked the question he came to ask about.
"I have gained nine levels so far," she said, and when he heard that he got an instant scare!
They were twelve of level fifteen monsters, and the difference in levels alone was enough to make up for that huge jump. "You are a monster, much more than myself, sigh," he helplessly shook his head before adding: "Now go back, I will summon you later to level up."
He held the token of her in his hand, and instantly she vanished. Again that dark smoke annoyed him, as it was an obvious sign that he summoned her and he was the one controlling her.
"She and others mustn't be used in public like that," he muttered, before thinking about his Sunny identity. "I can make Sunny use her and others as his signature, this way no one will be able to link Sunny to me," he evilly smiled as he liked this idea.
He glanced at the monsters around and decided to use his time to make an experiment. "You, separate yourself in ten teams, each will make monsters chase him to here."
He wanted to test his theory once and for all, and just as they disappeared from his sight, heading towards the nearby monster groups he recalled something. "Sh*t! I forgot to tell them to bring an equal number of monsters, sigh!"
It didn't take a few minutes before he heard loud roars coming from everywhere. It was like the whole place had been on fire, and this made him be startled greatly by the roars coming from every single direction.
And in the next minutes, a huge number of different monsters appeared from everywhere, coming in ten groups, and all were heading towards his way.
"It's good I'm protected by the tree line. But these guys sigh!"
He shook his head while observing the number of monsters they brought here; four groups had a hundred monsters in them, and the others had fifty, making the total number of monsters here reaching the terrifying figure of seven hundred monsters.
And the problem was that these groups of monsters didn't have the double horned monsters within them!
"Leave them and run towards here, hurry!" he shouted, as he had something in mind for them to do later on.
They ran, as their lives depended on it, and that literally was the case here. As the monsters reached the same region, some chaos erupted, as most of them started roaring against each other; threatening the other monsters to stay away and retreat, while only a handful of them went after the ten shades of Bloom.
Despite that, around a hundred different monsters were running fast after the doppelgangers, but they couldn't reach them in time; the doppelganger managed to cross the line of safety and went beyond the regions of their reach.
"Good job," he commended their actions despite their mistake in bringing unequal monsters together. But he knew that was him to blame not them.
"Roar!"
"Roar!"
"Roar!"
Mighty wave of roars erupted, deafening everything else, attracting his attention to the place in front, where a battle was about to erupt.
Not a single group of monsters wanted to retreat, and just like this the fight started between them. As monsters couldn't use their ultimate skills over each other, and the law to run when their Hp decline than fifty percent didn't work in this case, Bloom knew the fight would be brutal, long, and if left like this no monster would be standing on the end.
"I should tweak things a little, to make the fight more interesting, for me of course, hehehe," he smirked as he had a plan in mind, and his ten doppelganger here would play the main role in it.
But it wasn't yet the time to act!
