Chapter 440 Strings from the Shadow
"W-Who are you?" the robed man spoke weakly, his voice faltering as he realized that he was now on the brink of death.
Despite his heart being rip off from his chest, he managed to speak, due to his telekinetic abilities that was keeping him alive by forcibly pumping blood through his body.
It was one of the must-have skills of the Zol Clan, and even in his final moments, he clung to it desperately.
"Oh, you don't even know one of the people responsible for your Clan's massacre?" replied the mysterious individual with a tone filled with mockery and amusement.
As the robed man raised his head, he saw a beautiful woman with pure short white hair and crimson eyes.
Her beauty possessed an inhuman standard, reminiscent of European descent, yet there was an unmistakable aura of power surrounding her.
She was wearing a black dress with silver lining on it, adding an air of elegance to her enigmatic presence.
What made her even more memorable were the two fangs visible in her smile, a chilling reminder of her true nature.
"You're a..."
BOOM!
Before he could utter another word, he burst from within, consumed by the force of his own blood exploding.
"Those Zol clans are really tempting death," she muttered, clicking her tongue in annoyance.
She surveyed her surroundings, unable to suppress a feeling of irritation. She had come here for a vacation, but somehow found herself in the middle of the war.
"Alright, I'll kill some of them for destroying my vacation time," she declared, her eyes growing fiercer.
She was not just anybody; she possessed more than enough power to dispose of ordinary Zol Clan members.
Even if there were exceptional individuals among them, she remained confident in her ability to escape any threat they posed.
However, before she could take flight, she suddenly stopped in her tracks after receiving a telekinetic message from the other side of the world.
Her expression changed as she continued to listen.
"What do you mean, to not interfere?" she asked with a puzzled expression.
Normally, they should be trying to stop this incident from escalating further.
But the next words from the person on the other side silenced her protest.
"So that's how it is," She couldn't help but giggle, realizing that this incident was no mere coincidence.
She had been wondering why all the hidden families were allowing the Zol Clan to be unchecked, and now she was beginning to understand their plan.
It was a very cunning plan that would usher Earth into a new era.
"Sister Veronica," a sweet voice called out from behind her.
Turning to faced the source of the voice, Veronica saw another white-haired girl, much younger-looking with twin-tail hair.
The girl was shorter than Veronica, but her beauty was even more unbelievable . She resembled a real-life doll, with flawless skin and a cute nose that perfectly complemented her small face.
She was also wearing an oversized white jacket, adding to her refreshing and cute appearance.
"Vivi, let's get out of here. I've received an order from the castle," Veronica spoke up while descending to the ground.
"Eh, aren't we going to save this city from the bad guys?" Vivi asked, her expression filled with confusion. Experience tales with empire
The Zol Clan's actions were disrupting the balance of the world, so it was only natural to exterminate them.
"Just listen to me, Vivi. We'll have more opportunities to fight them in the future," Veronica said, patting Vivi's head.
Despite her timid and innocent appearance, Vivi was an even stronger monster than Veronica .
"Sister Veronica, then what should we do with that handsome guy watching us?" Vivi asked innocently.
Veronica was taken aback by her words. She quickly scanned their surroundings, increasing her senses, but she couldn't find anyone.
"Vivi where is he? Tell me and I will kill him," Veronica asked with urgency. Someone she could not detect was a dangerous person.
"I don't think that's a good idea," Vivi shook her head.
"What do you mean?" Veronica raised her eyebrows in confusion.
"That handsome brother is too powerful. I had a feeling that we will both die if we anger him," she admitted .
"Are you for real?" Veronica almost stuttered . She could accept being killed by that hidden person but not Vivi.
Vivi was a once-in-a-lifetime genius of their family.
While she might not be the most powerful yet due to her age, she undoubtedly possessed the most potential.
It was even predicted that at her peak, she would have at least double the fighting power of the current family leader.
"Yes, let's just get out of here. I don't think he will attack us," Vivi said, grabbing Veronica's hand and pulling her away.
"Okay," Veronica gave in, and together they flew away.
After they left, the shadow on the ground suddenly twisted, and a very handsome man emerged from it.

'Interesting, that girl can actually see me ,' I muttered to myself as I look at their backs going further and further away from men/ô/vel/b//jn dot c//om
I had come here to silently observe the actions that Cerebrum would take against the Zol Clan, as well as to see if any hidden powers would reveal themselves tonight.
And I was not disappointed .
To witness two powerful women capable of taking out a Zol Clan member so effortlessly was really surprising.
Regardless, I still benefited from them and gained two levels.
How did I do it?
By stealing her kill, I secured the level-up reward for myself.
Sensing her intention to make him explode from within, I cleverly outsmarted her by utilizing my Telekinesis.
Despite the usual restriction of being unable to use my Telekineses while in the shadow realm, I found a workaround.
By manipulating one of the civilians as a puppet and sharing my power with them, I was able to bypass this limitation and used my abilities , ultimately securing the kill and reaping the rewards.
My ingenuity and resourcefulness allowed me to maximize my benefits in that quick encounter.
'Time to check the other sites,' I mused to myself as I returned to the shadow realm so I could gather more information.
What do you think?
