Qin Liting's face twisted in shock, realizing that he had misjudged. Zhao Yaqian wasn't merely a Second-order Superior; she clearly had the strength of the Lower Tier of the Third Order.

Seeing the Shadow Devouring Demon already upon him, its three arms like blades, its sharpness as if right before him, oppressively close.

Its black tentacles flailed wildly, intent on ensnaring him, a truly terrifying sight.

For a good ten minutes, the creatures were finally wiped out, with the fallen ones having disappeared from the scene, having fled the area.

"It was a meeting prepared for contingencies. Some details can be discussed later. What are our losses?"

"Dozens attacked, including one Third Order and about ten Second Order ones. We lost seven people, more than twenty were injured, and it took over thirty Spiritual Energy cannons to drive off that Third Order one."
