Chapter 4119: Fighting Limit-Breaking Sky Sovereign



Sigh!

I sighed, looking at the meta-scan. I had finally achieved it and much earlier than I had thought.

The circumstances were dangerous and there was a lot of luck involved, but I succeeded. I could now practice my methods again.

There is another limit, the ultimate limit, but I am not worried about it.

My methods would take me there. There are also a lot of opportunities in this realm that will help me increase my strength faster.

I am quite relieved now.

It doesn't solve all my problems, but it will help me tremendously.

I got out of the core and got up. I tapped on the screen and a moment later, my aura blazed as I activated my full power.

I looked at my inheritance.

The power is massive and feels vast as the ocean. The inheritance needs to be capable of projecting this power.

What I saw made me relieved. My inheritance could bear this power and make use efficiently. I looked at every rune and there was no strain on a single one.

'It is all because of the ancient runes,' I thought.

They are powerful and capable of bearing massive loads. Common runes couldn't be compared to them, and I am really glad, I had started studying them when I did.

With that checked, I turned to the other screen. The one showing me, that he is still there.

I tapped on the other screen and my abode began to move up.

I am going to fight him. It is dangerous, seeing I have just God this strength, but in the battle. He had found out a lot of things about me.

I can't let him spread that or it would make things dangerous for me.

To be honest, I would have very much liked to know my strengths first. Practice the methods to increase my strength before moving to fight him, but unfortunately, I don't have time.

Till now, I didn't sense him transmitting the information to others, but he would eventually, if I kept hiding.

Dealing with him before he could do that would be a wise choice, despite the dangers.

Though dealing with him wouldn't be easy.

He is much experienced with this power and wields it well. I would need to give my all. If I want to defeat him.

Soon, my abode reached the surface, and he didn't discover it despite tools floating in front of him.

A full day had passed since our battle, and he was still searching for me. He hadn't even slept; not wanting to give me even a single chance to slip away.

I got and burned all the impurities on my body. I would have liked to shower and eat, but I will deal with him first before that.

Step!

I took a deep breath and stepped out of my abode.

He sensed me immediately and surprise appeared in his eyes. He didn't let that surprise stop him as he flashed in front of me.

"Thank you," I said to him. Confusing him.

"For what?" he asked. I didn't reply. Instead, the long sword appeared in my hand, and I shot toward it. Moving at far greater speed, than I had ever done on my own.

Nothing feels blurry. I could do everything, every speck of the soil on the ground. More clearly, I would see it, before breaking the limit.

There was a deep surprise on his face at seeing my speed. He realized what was happening and reacted fast, bringing out his saber.

CLANG!

My sword clashed against its saber, creating a sound that would kill people and a shockwave that razed everything, that came in its path of miles.

"How?" he asked, shocked.

"A bunch of lucky coincidences," I replied truthfully. Which confused him further, but a moment later, a smile appeared on his face.

"Good, now there will be more benefits," he said, and I smiled before flying up.

He didn't attack and flew up with me.

It is beneficial for us to fight in the sky. The king monster is a ground monster. It will sense the battle sooner, on the ground rather than in the sky.

Here in the sky, if we were high enough. We will be able to fight without getting discovered.

Only if it is close to us will it sense us, and that didn't seem to be the case. Seeing my soul waves, which now had started to cover, a really large territory hadn't been discovered. Soon we went above the clouds where energy became so dense that I would have died in a second yesterday.

I didn't stop there and kept moving until the energy reached its highest density. It is only, the primes would bear or those with the power of prime.

Anyone else would be vaporized instantly.

I looked at him as I stopped.

He is looking at me, with a powerful sensory field around him. He seemed to have learned from the last time and now taking precautions.

"You should surrender. It will make things much less painful," he said, and I couldn't help,

but grin at that.

"It seemed like you had forgotten yesterday. I was able to bind you without breaking the absolute limit. Imagine, what I could now?" I asked.

"It will not happen again," he replied with gritted teeth. "It will," I said back.

I am playing with his fear. There is a lot of mystery around the forbidden power and some people consider it as a miracle force, that could fulfill all their dreams.

It is not.

It helps in bending the rules, but its power depends on the user.

He had experienced its power yesterday when I was able to bind him without him noticing. Experiencing that firsthand, he is apprehensive and that will give me a chance.

"Even forbidden power won't be able to save you from me today!" he said finally and came at

me with an aura blazing.

Seeing that, I harnessed more of my power and moved toward him.
