Chapter 226: Chapter 226 - Completing the Armor Quest
Broken's eyes lit up with wonder as he gazed at the magnificent armor in front of him. The metal gleamed in the light, showcasing its intricate engravings and bold design. The mix of dark and earthy yellow hues was striking, and he couldn't help but smile as he picked up each piece, savoring the moment.
The armor fit him perfectly, like a second skin. He felt powerful and invincible yet surprisingly unrestricted. Finally, he could wear this high-level armor set-a long-held dream. The satisfaction was palpable.
Each metal layer emitted a soft blue glow, highlighting the detailed patterns. The shifting colors created a captivating visual effect, making the armor appear almost alive with an ethereal beauty.
The blue patterns on the armor, including the glowing eyes, added to its mystique. At first glance, it might have seemed a bit flashy, reminiscent of a Power Ranger's suit. However, the sharp, warrior-like design gave it authority and elegance.
Indeed, the armor had the ability to change its color patterns, a feature he attributed to the special skill of his Royal Hammer. He looked down at his hands, now encased in the shining armor. His reflection in the mirror showed a figure that looked like a superhero, yet he felt free and unencumbered beneath its embrace.
He could hardly believe the outcome was this incredible. Euphoria surged through him as he thought about showing off this stunning armor to Ivana, Freya, and sharing his joy with them.
Slowly, a few blacksmiths began to applaud. The clapping spread, soon filling the room with cheers, whistles, and jubilation. The blacksmiths were in awe, admiration shining in their eyes. They couldn't help but acknowledge Broken's exceptional skill. Many of them believed his rank had to be higher than Advanced, perhaps even Expert.
"You are truly remarkable, Broken!" one of them said.
"I will definitely work harder and train more diligently, Baron Broken," another exclaimed.
"I'm going to put forth my best effort to match it."
"You've really inspired us."
"Ah, I wish my life were as fortunate as yours, Lord Broken," sighed one. "To be surrounded by such beauties!"
[Congratulations, Broken! You have done it!]
[You have successfully completed the quest "Crafting Epic Equipment for the Hero," and now the Hero is equipped with the most epic gear to save the world.]
[Your hard work and dedication have been rewarded, and you should feel proud!]
[As a token of appreciation, you are awarded 20 stat points and 1 Item Grade Enhancer Ticket, as well as a brand new title - 'Best Faithful Supporter'.]
[Now, don't forget to treat yourself to a well-deserved rest and relaxation. Until next time!]
"Thanks for the rewards," Broken muttered under his breath, barely containing his joyful excitement as he absorbed the fact that he had been awarded another 20 stat points.
With a total of 100 stat points now at his disposal, he knew he needed to start considering where to allocate them soon.
He then turned his attention to the enhancer ticket, pondering its potential. Although the name of the item already gave him a good idea of its effects, he couldn't help but wonder about the specifics.
[Item Grade Enhancer Ticket]
[With the Item Grade Enhancer Ticket, you can take one of your boring items and upgrade it to something much more exciting! It's like a magical lottery ticket, with a 70% chance of winning an Epic-grade item, a 10% chance of winning a Unique-grade item, and a tiny 1% chance of winning a Legendary-grade item! So take a chance and let the Ticket do its thing - you never know what you'll get!]
The ticket offered him the opportunity to upgrade his item to a higher grade, with even a slight chance of achieving a Legendary grade. He slowly nodded, understanding the value of what he held.
"Even though the odds are slim, it's still a possibility," he mused. "I'll think about what I should use this ticket for later."
[Congratulations to Broken for being an incredible asset to the Hero in his preparations for the grand battle!]
[You have earned the esteemed title of 'Best Faithful Supporter' and will be generously rewarded for your efforts.]
[Every piece of equipment you crafted for the Hero will now have a 10% buff stats booster when used!]
[Your hard work and dedication are truly remarkable—and your new title will be a testament to that!]
Another notification filled his view, this time revealing the new title he had obtained after successfully completing the quest.
"So... this title boosts the equipment's stats by 10% if I craft it for myself?" he thought, feeling satisfied with the merit he had earned.
"Thanks, King Elandorr. You really are a very good king," he muttered under his breath, chuckling.
He took a few moments to read through all the notifications that had appeared before him. As he shifted his attention to his surroundings, he noticed that all the blacksmiths in the room had their eyes locked on him.
"Thank you all," he said with a bow. "It was wonderful being able to work here. I'm heading off towards Slumdon soon, but I may come back another time."
With one final glance around the familiar tools and equipment of the blacksmith workshop, he collected another set of armor and put them into his inventory before finally exiting the

"Good luck, Lord Broken," they shouted after him.
"See you again!"
"You are our inspiration!"
Broken turned away from the workshop, his head held high and a smile on his face. He was confident in his accomplishment and felt ready to finally meet Lionell and tell him about it. His gaze then shifted ahead, and he noticed a woman wearing an ornate gown flanked by two resolute knights. As he approached, he realized it was none other than Princess Alora. Broken quickened his pace and approached the princess. "Good morning, Princess." "Hi, Broken," she replied, eyeing him and noticing the impressive armor he now wore. "I heard that you would complete all the items today. Is that true?" she asked. Broken smiled and nodded slowly. "Yes, that's right, Princess. I'm sure I've finished yours too."
"I can't wait to see the stats! How about we find a better place to discuss this?"
Broken nodded, and the two of them moved away in search of a more suitable spot for their conversation. He hadn't yet had the opportunity to read through the details of his new equipment and the skills it came with. In his haste to meet Princess Alora, he had neglected to take the time to do so.
As they walked together, Princess Alora suddenly stopped and looked at him with concern. "Are you all right, Broken? I can tell your pace is a bit slower today."
Broken glanced at his status and realized that the combined weight of the equipment he was wearing was greater than his carrying capacity.
[Weight: 3,619/3,270]
"Damn," Broken cursed quietly. He already had a high Strength score, but he just realized that
the weight of each piece of armor he had crafted was significantly higher than average. It was probably because the items contained earth elements and were of a higher level, with a focus
on defense.
Broken hesitated, frantically trying to come up with an excuse. There was no way he'd admit to his low Strength Stat.
Lionell, misinterpreting his hesitation as exhaustion, stepped forward. "Lord Broken, I'm sorry. Let me help you," he said, lifting Broken onto his back before Broken had a chance to
protest.
"Wait, Sir Lionell," Broken managed to say, but it was too late. He found himself securely perched on Lionell's back.
Alora let out a light laugh at the sight. "Come on, let's head to my chamber," she said, leading
them down the hallway.
Broken could only sigh and hold on, embarrassed by the unexpected turn of events.
