Doflamingo was having a rough time.
His problems began when, acting on a whim, he sought out Kakuzu.
That was of course to confirm whether the ability that man used was the Op-Op Fruit that had once been in his possession.
Not only did he fail to get the answers he wanted, but he also encountered a mysterious figure whose identity remains unknown to this day.
In a few brief words, his fate was sealed after that call.
A man named Uchiha Madara was dispatched to crush him mercilessly.
And that Madara also took control of the entire Donquixote Family.
Since then, the Donquixote Family had been collecting food and ammunition under Uchiha Madara's orders, draining their considerable wealth.
While Doflamingo could endure such losses-being one of the wealthiest men in the world— it had disrupted a more pressing matter and led to issues.
His long-standing partnership with Kaido was jeopardized.
Doflamingo supplied Kaido's Beasts Pirates with Zoan Devil Fruits and artificial Devil Fruits in exchange for seastone and munitions from Wanokuni.
However, during the last trade, Uchiha Madara had seized all the Devil Fruits.
As for the artificial Devil Fruits, production had been limited due to a lack of raw materials, meaning the shipment fell short of expectations.
When Kaido learned of this, his fury knew no bounds.
He demanded his shipment to be fully delivered.
But what explanation could Doflamingo offer for that?
Fortunately for him, Uchiha Madara and Uchiha Sasuke had returned to Dressrosa after their recent clash with Naruto.
Desperate, Doflamingo approached Madara.
After hearing the details, Madara pondered for a moment before replying, "If there's a problem, we'll deal with it."
Doflamingo's eyes, hidden behind his sunglasses, sparkled. "Who will handle it?"
"Obviously," Madara said with an air of certainty, "only 'He' could do so."
Though Madara carried himself with arrogance, he followed orders with a professional rigor befitting a shinobi.
Every act of defiance or dominance remained firmly within Colt's instructions.

In the First Half of the Grand Line
After hearing Madara's account of the situation, Colt didn't respond immediately.
Tapping the table with his fingers, he calculated the risks and rewards in his mind.
Madara's proposal was bold: if Kaido posed a problem, then they should go all out-take down the Beasts Pirates and claim Wanokuni.
Colt understood the value of removing obstacles at the core.
Moreover, after reviewing information about Wanokuni, Madara noticed its eerie resemblance to the ancient ninja world, making it an enticing target.
"Alright," Colt finally said, breaking the silence.
In this world, the ninja needed a stable foothold, and Wanokuni offered the perfect opportunity.
Still, some adjustments were necessary.
On the other end of the line, Madara grinned.
"Keep the fight with Kaido confined to Wanokuni," Colt instructed. "Avoid drawing too much attention. The timing isn't right, and I have bigger plans."
Colt's lips curled into a smirk. "Leave Kaido alive. He'll serve as both a messenger and... a teacher."
"Teacher?" Madara raised an eyebrow.
Colt snapped his fingers. "Kaido's expertise in Haki can help train others. He's an asset, not just an enemy."
Though skeptical, Madara accepted the directive. However, he had one request.
"I'll need more manpower," Madara said.
"Not yet," Colt replied firmly.
While the high-end combat power of ninjas rivaled the Admirals and Emperors, their mid- tier forces still lagged. Until the ninjas mastered Armament Haki, it was unwise to escalate conflicts unnecessarily.
"Deal with Kaido first," Colt concluded. "Don't let him get in our way."
Madara had no choice but to comply.

Three Days Later
Off the coast of Wanokuni, a massive warship shaped like a mammoth sailed toward
Dressrosa.
Anyone familiar with the New World would recognize it instantly-it was the ship of Jack the Drought, one of the Three Disasters of the Beasts Pirates.
"This time, we'll teach that clown Doflamingo a lesson," Jack growled, his eight-meter-tall
frame exuding menace.
The crew cheered him on.
"The boss coming personally to deal with him is overkill!"
"If I were Doflamingo, I'd be shaking in my boots!"
Jack's arrogance mirrored that of his crew.
A proud and ruthless man, he respected only Kaido and King among the Beasts Pirates.
Of course, Jack's pride wasn't baseless.
As a user of the Ancient Zoan Elephant Fruit, his strength was undeniable.
At such a young age, his bounty had already reached one billion berries.
He was, by all accounts, second only to an emperor.
However, as the ship sailed closer to Dressrosa, the navigator spotted something unusual
through his telescope.
"Jack-sama!" he shouted, his voice trembling.
"There's someone ahead... standing on the sea! Without a boat"
Jack frowned. "Who? No one can stand on the sea without a boat."
"That man!"
"It's... It's Uchiha Madara!" the navigator cried out in fear.
The crew, who moments ago had been full of bravado, suddenly fell silent.
Everyone knew Uchiha Madara and Uchiha Sasuke-names that now rivaled even Kaido'sNôv(el)B\\jnn
name in notoriety.
Even Jack's confidence faltered. But he quickly shook it off.
He clenched his fists, his gaze turning cold.
"Who do you think I am? What the hell can this Uchiha Madara do? Sail forth, let's meet this
man!"
