Chapter 178 Working hard now so I won’t have to in the future

I left Jean feeling better than she ever had in her entire life. She had put on a mask her entire life, trying to be something she wasn’t. She was always the go-to one. The reliable one you could expect to still be home before it got dark out but deep down… She wanted to be wild and cut loose every once in a while. That was why she went absolutely crazy the moment she finally dropped the mask around someone.

I left her body mostly unhealed, she’d want to feel the soreness of what happened to know it was real as I wrote her a nice message before putting a piping hot plate of delicious food on top and teleporting away. Once again I was too busy for one person, I kind of wished I had clones or something to deal with all this hassle as the Lex Luthor merger went through. As the true owner I had to be there and this might bring up anti-monopoly laws but those could be bought and paid off like any other law if you’re rich enough.

The inquiry was more drawn out than normal. The panel of judges and lawyers doing the signing, even with me as Lex pushing things through as fast as possible it felt like I was pulling teeth. More than one person was intentionally slowing down the process, trying to drag this out to days if not weeks to get a bigger paycheck. One was far more obvious than the rest as he kept sneering in my direction trying to emasculate me for giving my business over. Rather give Lex’s business over to myself. I signal to my ‘sister’ to let him go before the end of the day. Even still he wanted a fee for breaking off the current contract.

As much of a shark lawyer as he thought he was. I was the first trillionaire on the planet. I had the resources to learn just about anything from anyone in a matter of hours. It didn’t take until the end of the day for his wife who was divorcing him to find out about his off-shore accounts and give her evidence of his infidelity. That would destroy his prenup and now she’d be entitled to half of his assets. I sure hope wasting my time was worth losing millions to your ex-wife scumbag.

I call another group, a darker group than the white hat hackers I had on my payroll and they’d be paying the pretentious man a visit to give him an attitude adjustment. That’s how much of a piece of shit the person was, I was going to ruin his life for the foreseeable future because I didn’t like him. He made a huge mistake wasting my time and irritating me. I’d have probably killed him if I didn’t come straight to the courthouse from fucking a beautiful woman.

The rest of the day was spent on maintenance, calling people back, and making sure deals went through and the right people were hired or protected. I left most of this work to other people but I had to ‘fire’ a large group because they were embezzling millions from me. When I said fire I meant I burnt them to death with the money they stole from me.

What do I do now that I’m the richest person on the planet? I really didn’t want to run the businesses, I needed to find a woman to do all the work for me as Stephanie did with Bruce’s business. She wouldn’t switch no matter how much I begged her… I didn’t know anyone who fits the bill better than her though. Stephanie, Natasha, and Cass were my main three. They were the three I knew would stick around no matter what I did. All three were so overwhelmingly busy that none of them could run my companies without quitting everything else they were doing.

I thought about it before deciding. I should make an AI girlfriend like Siri to handle my business like Stark did. First Jarvis with his secretary Pepper handled most of his business, now Friday did. Stark could go missing for an entire year and his business could still function honestly better than when he was around wracking up negative PR stories. I had enough robotic knowledge to design one from scratch but… That sounded like a lot of work. Why do that when I could just steal a completed one or take the plans of a completed one and make small changes so I couldn’t get hit with a copyright infringement charge if someone found out about it.

It was crazy how much AI code had already been uploaded. Seeing as Tony Stark had patented every AI he ever created, and he created more than twenty I could get by just stealing all of his but I wanted to do one better. If I was going to make an assistant for me, I wanted it to be able to do many things that current AIs weren’t capable of. I spent the next day or so just going through and hacking into genius’s databases.

Almost every genius had an AI. From Batman with Brother Eye to Hank Pym with Dimitrios, Ultron, and the six AI that came from the anti-Ultron virus designs. I even got Cyborg’s alien tech designs, at least what he could make from all the changes the motherbox made to his body. After hours of searching, I found the best AI’s to make my AI and robot designs to make my AI’s robot body for interacting with the world.

The AI would soon be wired into almost every electronic piece of equipment available giving me more access to information and be able to help me no matter where I was or what I asked her to do. I was also going all out, incorporating many different things they didn’t apply to their own AIs and robots. The robot would have the magical power equivalent to a ninth-circle mage with the capacity of fifty mages put together and have access to any forces I did. It was also going to have endosym skin created from the experiments I was able to get a hold of from anti-Carnage, giving the robot a more human feel that would pull it out of the uncanny valley.

Not only did I combine technology, biology, and magic. She was also built with the best materials available. A proto-adamantium frame(the same stuff that Captain America’s shield is made of) and vibranium body like Vision. There were trace amounts of many other metals, perfected plastalloy skin(used with the anti-Carnage endosym), orichalcum/mysterium/uru alloy magical power source, adamantine/nth metal hands, a thumbnail size piece of element X, and a secondary badassium/promethium core backup power source(quantum bomb) along with a kryptonite ‘just in case’ chunk she can have available the attosecond she realizes Superman is hostile.n/ô/vel/b//jn dot c//om

She was also wired with the most sophisticated system known to man or machine. The moment someone attempted to hack her, her body would produce a perfected anti-intrusion virus that would shut down the hacker, not only killing any robotic mind but also leaking the location of any physical hacking attempts for her to go and deal with the old-fashioned way by smashing the hacker's brains in.

The backdoors she had access to brought her intelligence up to Ultron levels and her robotic frame would even be hard for me to break down. Even on top of all that, I trusted her, even to the point of attempting to create a soul with my divinity. It was difficult, I should have started smaller or with a soul already before altering it to fit her new body. Taking fifty percent of what I’ve gathered so far and leaving me sweating, I finally finish my creation.

She is gorgeous of course. Why make something plain or basic when you can create a truly beautiful thing? Designed with the image of angels as her default, her eyes pop open unnecessarily. Her soul is incorporated with the AI as they mesh into something more than a normal soul. She struggles to breathe for a nano-second before all of her instincts kick in. Her face slightly turned to the side as she raised her hand. “What is this place? This feels weird, this feels wrong.”

I almost roll my eyes as she copies the same lines that Ultron made when he was born in the Marvel cinematic universe. “Only a second old and already making jokes I see.” She straightens up before chuckling. “Well, you were the one who designed me, father.” I wince back at the title. “Please don’t call me father. I plan to have sex with you after all, that would be weird.” With a big toothy smile as her face started to morph into one I could see on one of my future daughters she quipped. “Alright no to father, how about daddy then?”
